We
had
an
excellent
time
there.
It
was
a
bit
hard
to
reach
the
place
with
public
transportation.
We
took
a
mini
us
from
Jiantan
MRT
which
was
packed
solid,
so
we
stood
for
the
40-
minute
ride
bring
poked
in
the
ribs
by
other
passengers.
It
was
worth
it
as
the
grasslands
are
a
beautiful
place.
The
visitor
center
had
a
very
informative
set
of
displays
in
Chinese
and
English.
They're
are
no
paper
maps
so
you
need
to
take
a
picture
of
the
trails.
If
you
don't
have
much
time
there
is
a
circular
trail
which
is
flat
and
easy,
right
in
front
of
the
visitor
center.
For
the
trails,
walk
past
a
temple
and
a
monumental
gate.
The
trail
system
starts
after
the
gate.
We
saw
a
lot
of
water
buffalo
up
close,
closer
than
we
wanted
even!
As
they
were
right
in
the
middle
of
the
trail,
we
went
around
the
best
we
could.
The
scenery
is
fantastic
there.
Even
in
dry
weather,
the
steps
were
very
slippery
in
the
wooded
parts
that
don't
see
much
sun,
so
be
careful.
I
had
good
traction
trail
running
shoes
and
yet
I
almost
flipped
s
few
times.
The
locals
all
had
trekking
poles.
