I am DEEPLY disappointed. I am coming to the World Gym since 2009 in Taiwan. When this new branch on Lishui Street opened I was happy because it was only a few minutes from my home. I have severe scoliosis and often strong pain. I noticed there is a common stretching machine missing that's vital for a gym. I talked to several people and was finally directed to a Line chat with a "manager" called Megan Green. Super unfriendly and insulting in her messages when I ask to add this simple and inexpensive machine. She wouldn't even try to help me to talk to someone else because it wasn't in the "original" budget another way of saying we didn't think about it and now don't admit it. I jokingly said I will talk to Schwarzenegger in person (since he owns the World Gyms). Deeply disappointed by this customer service considering I have been spending thousands and thousands of Dollars since 2009 in membership fees AND recommended countless new members. Pic of the machine attached. It cost about $399 on Amazon I am not sure what this would do to make them poor. Please consider you get treated like s*** before joining this.

Melissa was welcoming and easygoing. Currently at the trial period but I highly recommend anyone who wants to know more about the membership can reach out to her.

Always have a hard time finding a gym to go to while visiting my parents in Taiwan. Got to meet my dad personal trainer here, Anna. She’s awesome and easy to work with for all levels of fitness. :) Recommended checking out this world gym and Anna if you have any fitness needs!

Really nice facility (biggest gym brand in Taiwan) and if you get a membership at world gym, you can go to any location BUT super pricy esp if you’re only in the area for a month or two The membership options they gave me were 1 year or 3 year, and the one year was about $1k USD, which is way too expensive compared to gym memberships in the US ($10-$20/month). When I said I was going to look for other gyms in the area cuz theirs was too pricey, they kept cutting the price and it was really odd to me that such a large chain would be negotiating on membership prices (maybe cultural difference tho).

The onboarding process was smooth and I am pretty happy with the way things went thanks to YT. She gave me a good vibe and was very warm and I think she did an outstanding job.

Melissa is very helpful in coordinating the first visit and very considerate on my needs for working out and work.

Anna is really professional and willing to help. She tried to get a contract length I prefer. Good service overall!

After joined and workout here for a month, I have face with some of the problems. But Anna and her supervisor, Peter were very nice and helped me out solving the problems with fairness. I haven’t been to the gym in a while so I felt a bit nervous having to go to a gym to sign up. YT, one of the sales consultants, put me at ease and gave me a tour of all the facilities at this World Gym location. She was very friendly and enthusiastic but did not make me feel pressured. In the end I chose the price and plan that was suitable to me and I can’t wait to go to the gym regularly.
