Incredible experience without any doubt. The dishes took me to another dimension, I had never tried croquettes so similar to those of Spain in Taiwan, the chef has a unique style, for me <<Malavida>> is the best Spanish restaurant in Taiwan. I have been in Taiwan for 7 years, my husband is Taiwanese and we travel a lot to Spain, he thinks the same. The service is unbeatable, music and atmosphere very pleasant. I'm going to celebrate my birthday there shortly, I already have my reservation, lately I have to book in advance because it is being the fashionable restaurant in Taipei, everyone likes it, I don't know anyone who doesn't.

New tapas restaurant in east district. The meals there were special. The fresh red prawn, steak tartare, and wagtu steak be handled in traditional Spanish way were impressive. However , we went there for Christmas. booked a table through their online website in Nov and got a phone call one week prior our booking date saying due to technical issue, they got overbooking problem and need to postpone our reservation from 7:30 pm to 8pm,and we were asked for paying $1000 as deposit for reservation due to holiday. This should be mention in website in advance so customer can decide if they would like to pay deposit for their reservation. Otherwise, we felt uncomfortable to be noticed three weeks post our reservation. Also, It took us too long to wait for our meal and our drinks came when we almost finished our meal. Overall, the meals were tasty but would like to recommend a better service training, perhaps hiring one more bartenders that shorten the waiting time that would providing customers with a better dining experience?

Wonderful new tapas restaurant in Taipei. Everything was quite tasty and of high quality, especially the cured ham, sashimi, and tartare. However, I have to leave some criticism of the bone marrow as that was the dish I was most looking forward to. Our bone marrow order, although it was two pieces, was mostly bone rather than marrow. This lack of marrow plus the generous bonito flakes coating on top resulted in mouthfuls of what was mostly very strong coating flavor rather than the fatty, rich deliciousness of the marrow being the star. Hopefully this dish can be improved upon.

Amazing experience. Excellent atmosphere. Definitely a must to go. Tasteful Spanish food with a touch of different cultures, we really enjoyed the dinner, the desserts are delicious and good cocktails to finalize the night.

Best Spanish food in Taipei!

The food was amazingly good, I like the environment and the services by Jenna and Shara was great, speaks perfect English and Chinese.

Now this is an honest good place for proper quality Spanish food that gets better each time with uniqueness and not altered by false food critics. keep it real!

The food is quite good, not traditional Spanish cuisine but still worth trying. Wine is a bit overpriced though . Rioja usually isn’t on the high side.

What a great holiday meal we had at this restaurant! The scallops with edamame puree and the marrow bone were delicious starters. Next, the grilled sea bass and roasted lamb shoulder were cooked perfectly and with just the right seasonings. For dessert we chose the brioche bread with custard cream and chocolate panna cotta. Everything, including the service, was excellent! The ambience was romantic, casual, and fun.

Amazing restaurant, couldn't believe that I could find actual Spanish food that far from the western countries. Great portions, great service and amazing ambiance, the menu is very affordable and very extensive so is full of options for everyone. I would like to have replied back my email about my questions, I was a bit disappointed but I could ask my hotel concierge to solve it for me, beside that everything is absolutely perfect.

Had the Japanese oyster, grilled octopus, red prawn paella, and the hamachi carpaccio. I was disappointed about the octopus and the paella. The grilled octopus was slimy, hard to chew, and drenched in oil. The paella rice was not cooked well and still had a slight hard center. Other than that, the hamachi and the oyster was fine. Unfortunately the wait time between each dish was about 15 minutes or more. I do think that restaurants deserve a second chance . Maybe I will try again in the future!

Very friendly staff, introducing and explaining how to enjoy every course, even giving us two shots for free! Whole place is lit by neon red lights at night, which gives a cozy atmosphere (just a downside - other customers were a little noisy during our visit). The food gras and the prawn and squid (?) risotto were very nice! Liked the steak tartare as well but the taste of onions masked the beef a bit too much. The pumpkin muffin was also worth a try, the cream on top tastes a lil like cream cheese and the muffin base kinda nutty, which I liked. Overall a very nice experience!
