We attended the JD BBQ Festival 2023 and it was fun. Food was great, drink was flowing, music was loud, met some new people and had ourselves a great time. Lots of foreigners here, lots of bars and restaurants to eat and enjoy. Also lots of cosplayers walking around showing off their fancy costumes. It is definitely an interesting place to visit on the weekend.

There is a decent international food court (covered, but not air conditioned) here, and the food is decent and not over priced. There are also a number of restaurants (international) and other shops and weekend stalls here as well. It's definitely worth a visit. There is also live music from time to time. The main downside is that many of the food court stalls are unoccupied and not all the shops and food court stalls are open on weekdays. The food court seating could be improved - the tables are a bit oversized with a lack of chairs/seats, and can get crowded. And of course, without air conditioning, it can still get hot.

not bad for my first time here, it's a good place to hangout and chill with friends, good ambiance, too many different kind of foods and beverages options. there's also a bar and a club for partygoers like me😁 5 stars because everything is here.

Popular place for various types of people: families on weekends, farmers market on weekends, elderly exercising in the mornings, partygoers in the evenings (bars and clubs seem to be expanding the nightlife). The food court has variety and international foods but tends to be slightly overpriced and not necessarily tasty. The stinky tofu is good though as is the Vietnamese stand and Mexican stand (nachos pretty good). There are also places for shopping and other restaurants with storefronts. Wonderful place overall to visit multiple times. Weekdays are much more quiet for peaceful walks even at nights when the paths are lit. Planes descend overhead and can be a surprising sight as they land at Song Shan Airport. Weekends can get crowded so keep track of your little children. Bathrooms are clean and big but at the ends of the park. Free wifi though it can be choppy.

A must see place in downtown Taiwan! They have a farmers market on weekends, as well as live music and even specific festivals! We were able to attend the Brazilian Independence Day festive this last weekend. Lots of people, shop stands, music and performances. This place is extremely well kept and clean. Very family friendly. Lots of food options. All in all, a super fun place to explore!

This place is going is like going to the pits at night. I used to love it, but ain't nothing to love anymore especially since the music rooms available around there only play Latin and Pop songs at night. I guess I'm not the target audience anyway. The DAYTIME Maji Square on the hand is fantastic. Beautiful clean and always hosting a variety of somewhat culturally affiliated events. Either on big one or a group of small ones clumped up together. It's work it to take an winless stroll through here on a good day of weather

Great event with Muddy Basin Ramblers as the lead group. Food and drinks supplied by various outlets were tasty and at affordable prices.

The last time I was at Maji Square the vibe was off the charts. We were watching the World Cup Final! France against Argentina and thankfully Argentina won! Whoop whoop! But it was an absolute vibe at Maji Square! It was super crowded but it’s not normally that crowded. It obviously had a lot to do with the football game. The energy was up and people were having fun. There were some intense moments and some funny moments. But all in all, it was wonderful. Maji Square is a great area with lots of little bars and restaurants and it is always fun. It gets very lively on the weekends! It’s a must visit!

The place is really lively in the night. It's a perfect place in Taipei to hangout if you are a party person. There are a lot of clubs and there are also common seating area available. Where you can sit and drink your own booze instead of buying from the bar. Music is also good there, it's crowded during weekends.

So many good little shops and food stalls. The tuck shop is an amazing option for vegans. I also enjoyed the Indian food there. Great place for groups, drinks, shopping, everything you need in one covered outdoor area.

Just wanna say the lady working late last night was amazing. I ordered tacos and a beer and realized I had lost my wallet and sh said don’t worry about it and that was wonderful. I was stressing when I realized I only 80ntd in my pocket. Needless to say; I found my wallet and coming back to pay and possibly eat again. Also; I’m half Hispanic and used to eat hispanic food a lot…I loved the street tacos! Authentic to me!

Very instructive museums on earthquakes and tsunamis, built near the remains of a destroyed school and above the fault where the 9/21 1999 earthquake happened. Just hope nothing will happen in the future.

There are many delicacies, and students like to practice street dance here, and Taipei city government hold interesting activities or bizaar often. It's a pretty nice place to go.
