A disappointing and frustrating experience. Rooms are great, but pretty much everything else falls flat. Breakfast area full of dirty dishes with no one clearing them, AC is set very high centrally and staff are unwilling or unable to adjust, and housekeeping couldn't even be bothered to make the bed. Was told by staff that rooms aren't even cleaned between stays until a new booking is made so your room will likely be sitting dirty for days. Strongly, strongly recommend staying somewhere else.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are modern, well designed and very comfortable. Check-in very quick and easy, Customer service is outstanding. Breakfast was really good. I'd be happy to stay here again next time I'm in Taitung.

Love the space and the room.. You can easily bring bike into the room and into the elevator... The hotel is also relatively eco friendly using dispensers high quality shampoo and soap :) good stay and good space for athletes.

Nice hotel which deserves 3.5 to 4 stars. Free coffee in the lobby with local snacks. Free bikes that you could go around the city which is not too big. I had a morning ride to the sea side, was very pleasant one. Breakfast is good, but not too many choices. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Location is nice, easy to access night market and the rail village. Generally a nice hotel if you want to stay in the center of city.

Taitung city Centre is not that big, so in terms of location, so it’s difficult to fault its location. The hotel is slightly off dead Centre of the city which is nice but still a short 5min walk to the night market. The building itself is very interesting and adopted an open air design. Why wouldn’t one do so in such beautiful surrounding and nice weather. The restaurant is on the ground floor which serves a good buffet breakfast with a combination of Taiwanese and Western dishes. Being in Taiwan where there’s a large vegetarian population, vegetarian options are available too. Lobby located on the second floor along with a coffee lounge where all guests can help themselves to hot/cold beverages and light snacks. (No cook items but candies and cookies as such) i reserved a room with a view which is nice as there are many high rise building in the city, I can see the mountains and sea from my room. Again, since the building is not tall, I doubt sea and Mountain View is available in all rooms. Room is very spacious and clean. Air condition works well and my complaints are: 1. Design of toilet. While it’s a nice idea to have toilet separate from bath (which we see a lot in Japanese hotels) one shouldn’t have to walk all the way around the room to get to it. Also, there’s no soap and hand towel by the sink in the bathroom which is an easy fix the hotel should consider. 2. While there’s blackout curtain but it’s not doing a good job in completely darken the room especially the hotel uses color lighting outside of the building which is on all night. All in all, a good place to stay but with minor tweaks, it can be better!

Came to live at this hotel during a family vacation. The room is quite big and comfortable, and the bathroom is very spacious. One of my favorite part about this hotel is that its toilet and shower areas are separate, allowing people to use different bathroom functions concurrently. Moreover, there is both a shower and a bathtub!

This is a pretty new hotel and the facilities are clean and basic. The rooms are spacious and have a nice view of the city. The rates are also very reasonable. About US$100/night including a buffet breakfast. Located within walking distance to a popular night market.

we didn’t expect this hotel is newish . It’s in very good condition . The receptionist are very friendly. There is an area offer candies , cookies, cake and a variety of hot drink such as coffee and tea, which really give you a warm feeling of home. I would choose this hotel again.

It’s comfortable and it is brand new

The Suites is one of the best hotel I've ever stayed. The room layout was great. I feel I have larger useable space than the number says. The furniture looks new and high-end. The customer service was polite and professional. They also served local snacks and drinks at the lobby. The buffet was excellent on the variety and quality. My wife wished she could have it as breakfast every morning. The only issue I could pick is that the parking lots was narrow, and I could not consistently find an available slot.
