Loved my stay here. Clean, creative, and great service. This is a mix between hotel and hostel. It's simple and the rooms are not super spacious, but very well kept and designed for no waste of space - very modern Japanese. A lot of self-service amenities which I love, including a shared kitchen space and laundry room. No TV in the rooms. Quiet hours after 10PM. NT$30.00 for an extra pillow. Gave us breakfast coupons and a city map. Would definitely stay here again :)

We booked a small double room for our nights stay. We knew beforehand that it was the same in size as the single room, but we did not expect to arrive finding only 1 comforter for the two of us! If you charge more for double occupancy, you need to provide the basic beddings needed for 2 people to stay in one room, so that means two pillows and TWO comforters! We arrived after 10 pm so all employees were gone, and we couldn’t find anyway to contact anyone to ask for another comforter. Guess one of us just need to find as many towels as we can and try to keep warm throughout the night? Having stayed at hotels and hostels in more than 20 countries this was a first for me. Also the first time I have ever given a lodging a 1 star rating. No matter how pretty your common spaces are, in the end you need to make sure your guests can actually SLEEP in your rooms. Remember that!

This might be the best accommodation I have ever been to, in any country I visited in my life. So far, the roughly ten accommodations I had in Taiwan were ranging from okay-ish to straight up the worst I have ever been to, without exaggeration. I genuinely did not think that a sleeping place this nice would exist in this country. You have a room on your own, not shared, which by itself makes it better than most of the stuff you find in Taiwan. Everything is clean, and also simple in a great way. The room is thought out so well, and while it is small, smart design choices make it more than enough. You can actually sleep at night because there are no loud noises that would keep you awake, it is not smelly, and not incredibly bright. With 1,97 in height, I was still able to lie in my bed, cause there were no restraining wooden bars on the bed. All these things are very basic, but none of my accommodations so far came close to meeting these basic criterions. But on top of that, there are so many extras: There is a beautiful atrium full of plants, a pretty common area, a shared kitchen (I have not seen a kitchen during my 3 months in Taiwan), you get a breakfast voucher,... And there is a journal in your room, where visitors can write about their stay :) The price, for what it offers, is more than justified. Overall, I can highly recommend this place. The only major drawback is that it is located in Taitung, and I will probably not come back, because it is not the biggest and most exciting place in the country. Please open another hostel in Taipei, guys, we need it 😊

Stayed here a year ago, still looking just as wonderfully presentable and as comfortable as a year ago. Great weekend away stay in Taitung ...

Hotel design is very nice. Rooms are fine, I would expect to have toothbrushes as well. Soundproofing is not perfect and the toilet is glass covered, next to the door. If door opens can be easily visible from outside. Curtain should be put on each side of the toilet.

Value for money. Clean room, spacious enough, and comfortable. Wished the toilet can be locked. Love the green landscaping of hostel. Feels more like a hotel. Centrally located, easy access to nearby markets, food stores. Tiptop friendly frontdesk, plenty of recommendations. Would recommend to friends.

Booking on Agoda showed very limited room availability and we ended up booking a classic room. Knowing it was a hostel, our expectations weren't high. Pricing was very very affordable. However the room was tiny and all it housed was a platform with a twin mattress and a tiny shower/toilet enclosed in a clear glass cubicle. For what we paid I didn't mind the tiny room however the glass cubicle was quite disturbing and inappropriate. Very awkward if sharing a room with a young child or friend. With the floor layout, opening the door rudely exposes any person on the lavatory or taking a shower to any person passing by or standing across the hallway. The rooms were very poorly soundproofed and if you have an occupant next to you, be prepared for a random thud in the middle of the night or conversation you can almost join in on. The staff were friendly and helpful and despite the price, an all you can eat breakfast is included. The food selection was in my opinion however, an absolute disaster, but opinions may vary. On a positive note, the hostel was quite pretty overall and the location was convenient for a quick run around Taitung. It also offers a few pleasant and thoughtful resting spots and facilities including an open self catering kitchen. If driving you will be required to pay 100twd per day despite already being a resident.

Is a very modern and hip Hotel, with nice and helpful Staff. The small rooms are really small and have just a see-through glass-wall. The normal rooms have a fine size but also no windows. Even though it was very clean the room had a bed smell. The location was good with nice bars near by.

Great place to stay if you are travelling alone and want a single room to yourself. Clean and simple design. Free breakfast provided. Would stay here again.

Rooms are small but very modern and well equipped. The lobby is spacious and you can eat food from outside. Staff was nice too, we really liked this place as it is close to the center and the beach.

Love the design and decor here. They have a very big kitchen and chill area which is very good for long-stay backpackers.

I’ve got nothing to say. It’s a hostel period. Don’t expect too much of it.
