One of the most iconic gyms in Japan run by the legend Yuji Hirayama himself. If you are lucky you’ll be able to meet the man and see him climb. The routes are fairly tall and interesting. It’s a bit far from Tokyo but it’s totally worth a day trip on a rainy day!

I couldn't go to the gym because I didn't have time, but I went there to buy some equipment. The store staff is very kind and they have a great selection of products.

We went today from Setagaya and it is far from central Tokyo but worth it for a day out. We have a baby so it's hard to find places that are big enough to allow us to take turns to climb. Base camp has changing place, even a shower (closed due to corona) and a small shop. It's quite a walk from the station though. Across the street there is a big super market.

Large gym with plenty of space for a group of friends to enjoy climbing. If you’re staying in Tokyo, it’ll be worth getting out of the city (and the smaller gyms) for a day.

A great climbing gym, definitely the nicest I’ve ever climbed. There is tons of climbing (lead and top rope) and bouldering space, exercise space and a nice rear area. They have a well stocked gear store. They are also changing rooms that have a shower. They also host competitions here. I found out about this gym from watching The North Face Cup on YouTube. They have their registration paperwork and rules all in English. Some of the staff also speak English. It’s only about a 20-30 minute drive from Yokota Air Base.

There are many types of climbing boards, and top ropes are permanently installed. There is also a spacious rest area, so you can spend your time comfortably.

I visited with my eldest son who participated in The North Face Cup 2024, and it is definitely the number one climbing gym in Japan. It's about a 15 minute walk from Musashi-Fujisawa Station, but there are lots of climbing gear sold everywhere from the entrance to the gym space. The gym is also very spacious and luxurious. There are quite a few lockers on the second floor, which shows how popular it is. All of the store staff are energetic and kind, and you can see that they have been well trained.

Spacious and all good condition. A little far from the station. So best for own car. You could meet owner Yuji Hirayama performance, if you are lucky.

This gym is a great place to train and hang out. The staff is very friendly, the different weekly sessions are fun and full of helpful advice for climbers on every level and the route/boulder setting is diverse. I highly recommend this place!

Large gym with quality routes. Make sure you know how to lead climb to make the most out of your time. Or else bouldering routes are plenty

Awesome and huge gym! There’s a wide range of difficulty for the boulders that caters to all. The only problem is it’s inconvenient to get to… but the staff helped us to book a cab to the nearest train station after our climb session ☺️

What a great experience. The guys here were super friendly. I'm very informative. I was able to buy handles for the rock wall I'm building and I think I'll come back here with my daughter to go climbing sometime. Thank you so much!
