    I am an absolutely beginner skier and felt safe at the Maruyama slope, besides it was crowded.     Very nice ski resort in the Kiso area. Day pass is 4200 yen, 4 hour is 3400 yen. They have a couple restaurant options. Slopes range from easy to advanced. Great resort for intermediate skier or snowboarder.

    The ski resort is huge enough to cater crowds of skiers and snowboarders. There are rental shops around, so roam around first and compare prices. Good for beginners and enthusiasts. The longest run is 3600m, and there are 11 courses. There's a small restaurant for curry and rice and some ramen noodles.
