Cascade Waterfall

Beautiful waterfall and must see and visit whilst in Seychelles. Nice little walk inside and wear comfortable shoes and non slip.

No organized neither arranged by the government. Even in rural Indonesia we had better road to hike on and the waterfalls were magnificent. Here we wasted 50 minutes with 10 dogs barking and water is dried out. Even we asked 4 people on the way from parking to houses and none of them care to say waterfall is dried out.

It's a definite no go for casual tourists. Parking is hard, the trail is harder to find and it goes through some very shady and unfortunately very poor areas with barking dogs. On the last 300 metres it becomes a complete jungle with spiders and finally if you're lucky there's ZERO water because of the season.

Es ist wirklich ein sehr schöner kleiner Ausflug bei ausreichend Wasser kann man Super am wasserfall schwimmen. Wir waren gegen Mittag da und hatten den Wasserfall für uns alleine. Auf dem Rückweg kam uns eine kleine Gruppe entgegen Das Wasser ist sauber und an den tiefen Stellen in der Mitte fast 2 Meter tief. Natürlich ist das Wasser recht kühl aber bei den Temperaturen ist das sehr angenehm. Der Weg ist am Anfang gut man muss teilweise etwas suchen am Ende des beton / Treppen Abschnitt muss man kurz vor dem letzten Haus nach rechts hoch in den Dschungel abbiegen. Der Einstieg in nicht direkt ersichtlich und nicht ganz so einfach. Danch wird der Weg zu einem wanderweg aber mit gutem Schuhwerk ist das alles machbar. Bitte nicht direkt bis zum letzten Haus laufen die Leute sind genervt von Touristen die ihr Grundstück betreten sie haben auch knurrende / bellende Hunde, wie gesagt kurz vorher bei einer umgestürzten Palme rechts hoch! Ab da ist der Weg leichter zu finden. Achten Sie auf Spinnennetze Viel Spaß

The waterfall is beautiful, though it's unfortunate that the surrounding area is somewhat littered.

Amazing waterfall. We were alone inmidst stunning nature. Takes 15 to 20 easy minutes to get there

Sometimes water will be there sometimes not. Thank god today we went to there, So we got a chance to experience the fall.

Its a nice hiking road that ends up with an amazing waterfall Make sure to take ur swimming shorts Also do not visit between July to October the waterfall is going to be dry

Wanderung mit weniger Tourismus. Parken kann man entweder unten am Sportplatz oder durch einen Tipp eines Bewohners etwas hoch und vor der kleinen Brücke wo eine Kuh steht auf der kleinen Wiese links parken. Die Wanderung ging durch das Bäckerei Gelände und ging dann durch einen trampelpfad weiter. Man kommt an mehreren einzelnen Häuser von einheimischen vorbei. Manchmal ist der Weg nicht ganz klar. Am letzten Haus kam uns ein knurrender Hund entgegen. Da liegt zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt ein umgefallener Bananenbaum da muss man rechts hoch. Der Wasserfall war wunderschön und waren dort alleine. Für mich persönlich war es jedoch die schlimmste Wanderung. Wer eine Spinnen Phobie hat sollte wissen, dass dort auch über Kopf höhe Netze sind und generell der Weg voll ist.

As it is still important touristic attraction, but very hard accessible. It was beautiful to see banana trees.

Did not enjoy the hike. So many insects and lizards to the point where my whole leg was swollen due to the amount of mosquito bites. Stay clear of spider webs. The hike there is just steps which isnt bad, however at one point the stairs stop and it gets more challenging. There is a pond below the waterfall. When I went (August 2025) the waterfall was dried up with barely any water going down, however the locals say that just a week before the waterfall was full of water as well as the pond below it.

A éviter ! On a tenté de trouver la cascade, sans succès. Il y a bien un balisage à base de ficelles mais on se retrouve à escalader des pierres glissantes tout en essayant d'éviter de se retenir aux palmiers pleins d'épines acérées ! On a chuté suite à une glissade, et on est revenus pleins d'hématomes et d'ecorchures. Ne tentez pas cette aventure sans gants et sans casque de sécurité, donc je déconseille fortement ce trek ! Allez plutôt voir la cascade à port Gauld sur la côte ouest , facilement accessible

If you love nature, please go there it's not easy to reach, very difficult to find the best location,, sometimes good places to visit it's very hard but worth it,,,
