Depends on airline really !! Sky airline worrying ... took cash with invoice written on back of peice of paper... 30,000 chilean pasos for a seat I already paid for!! Expansion is finished / almost. .. little longer to walk to collect rental car but not an issue. Screening in new location but quick all the same. ( not need to remove laptop, liquids etc.) More pop up type shops on airline ( previously was very little so most people entered for flight in the last hour. Hope efficiency continues as I have being travelling to this airport for almost 10 years.

Small but Good

It's a small airport but perfectly adequate. Security is quick. There is a cafe in the departures lounge but it was closed by 9:30pm which was disappointing. Access by road is fairly uncrowded and easy, and I got a Cabify into the centre of Concepción within minutes of arriving, costing around 4 thousand pesos at 11pm.

OVER $70 EXTRA TO CLEAN THE CAR. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM, BE CAREFUL. My family came into town to rent a car in order to see Chile. We went to the best deal we could find but were very much misguided. The manager at this Budget scammed us and charged us over $70 USD to clean the car, never had that happen ever plus they charged us double for insurance. They need new workers. We are talking the Budget people in the United States to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. What a scam of a worker.

The worst experience I've ever had. We traveled all the way from Linares to Concepción because we found a "good deal" on a car rental. Unfortunately they said that the expedia car insurance was not valid and we had to either get their insurance or pay a downpayment of $1500 USD to rent it. We then got their insurance for around $11 USD per day instead of that so we had double the insurance. In the end we brought the car back after having the dogs in the car for a trip to the beach an they said there would be a "cleaning fee but it won't be much". Later we got a message with the the bill. Over $70 USD to clean the car!!! I've rented a lot of cars all around the world and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. 100% do NOT recommend this place, SCAM!

Small, but there is everything you need, unless you into the big duty free malls at the bigger airports. Expansion in progress. Should be fantastic in a year's time.

For the second biggest city In Chile should be better. Even the coffee shop had no lights. How did the server even see what he was serving?

Small airport. Easy to get in and out of.
