Great buffet restaurant inside Club Balai Isabel. We had the usual Filipino breakfast dishes. It is clean and the staff are attentive. The breakfast came with the booking for 2 days and 2 nights.

Pricey and not so good food

Located inside Club Balai Isabel as their main dining outlet, Terraza offers your favorite filipino fare like bulalo, crispy pata, pancit, grilled liempo and more prepared and cooked with great quality. I only rated them four stars because i found their buffet to be a bit overpriced given the modest selections, but their ala carte options do deliver as promised(portions are good for 4-5pax)! Some seating options allow for pool-side dining with a great view of taal lake. Their wait staff are courteous and accomodating(shout-out to Karl who served us dinner during our stay).

Excellent view, great service, tasty dishes, and reasonably priced. To visit, go to Club Balai Isabel and be prepared to hand them an ID to receive a guest pass.

Standard buffet with very limited choices (I remember 4-5 entrees, I believe), but very good quality Filipino fare. There is an on duty chef for special orders. Small, efficient, friendly bar, covered dining overlooking the pool plus poolside dining, and the best coffee I had had since visiting Jamaica. Friendly, helpful staff; few speak fluent English (this resort caters to Filipinos, but all are welcome), and the head waiter is terrifically entertaining and can sing!

Breakfast buffet available for walk-ins. Perfect for those on bicycles or motorcycles planning to go around Taal Lake.

At first we were disappointed because they took 30 minutes to serve our dinner and then served our rice and another dish 5 minutes after. But then we discovered that they were struggling with an unexpected number of guests. Their staff is very polite and respectful and truly seemed freaked out when we started getting a bit angry. Since all our other meals here (we stayed overnight and had four meals here) we're served on time, we decided to give them a break. The best thing for me was the Sauteed Garden Vegetables. All Filipino veggies. IT WAS SO GOOOOOOD! I had to ask the chef how to cook it at home! Chef Geni was kind enough to come out and give me his recipe and tips on cooking local veggies. Apart from the Garden veggies I tried the Tuna Sandwich (3.5 stars), The Adobo rice (5 stars), fried Tilapia (4.5 Stars), Chicken adobo (4 stars), Breakfast Buffet (3.5 stars). The only thing I didn't like was the Gelato. I got Chocolate and it was too sweet and it melted so fast. One last thing - this resto has a view of the inner rim of Taal and the pool and it is AWESOME and relaxing!

Excellent food and service. We ate an early Filipino dinner. Very good Pancit. Club sandwich and Tawilis. It was our first time eating Tawilis. It's truly unbelievable that the Tawilis and other aquatic life can survive the Volcanic activity.

If you're looking for a place with a view of the Taal volcano by the lake, this is a good option. It's inside club balai isabel, and even if you don't have reservations, they'll let you in to dine in the restaurant. Wide choices of Filipino food. They accept cash, card and gcash. The restaurant has a view of both the pool and the lake. Toilet has showers for those using the swimming pool.
