My
boyfriend
and
I
are
21
and
23
years
old.
We
found
ourselves
homeless.
We
rented
a
room
at
Howard
Johnson
on
7-18-23.
The
following
day
at
checkout,
Jessica
the
new
property
manager,
proposed
the
idea
for
me
to
work
there.
She
stated
I
would
be
working
for
my
room.
The
room
was
$39
when
I
rented,
so
she
said
I’d
only
be
working
for
a
few
hours
a
day.
When
I
came
to
work
she
stated
that
she
expected
my
boyfriend
and
I
to
both
work,
but
we
would
get
lunch
every
day.
It
didn’t
sound
like
much
but
given
our
position,
we
took
the
deal.
We
cleaned
moldy,
bed
bug
and
roach
infested
rooms
for
5
days
straight
with
no
lunch,
no
pay,
and
the
opportunity
to
stay
in
an
“out
of
order”
room
that
she
was
unable
to
rent
due
to
living
conditions.
We
were
forced
to
work
from
9:30
AM
until
whenever
she
decided
,
which
was
as
late
as
7:30PM
for
us
and
as
late
as
11PM
for
other
people.
It
was
not
what
we
agreed
to
on
the
first
day.
Jessica
and
her
children
at
BRYANT
PROPERTY
MANAGEMENT
take
advantage
of
people
with
no
place
to
go
and
force
them
to
work
in
disgusting
conditions
for
no
pay
and
a
room
that’s
only
worth
$50
on
a
good
night.
After
she
is
done
with
her
“employees,”
usually
within
3-4
days,
she
kicks
them
out
and
leaves
them
with
nowhere
to
go
with
no
warning.
I
am
disgusted
with
what’s
happening
to
Howard
Johnson
by
Wyndham
located
on
north
Monroe
street
in
Tallahassee
Florida.
We
have
reached
out
to
Wyndham
directly
in
hopes
to
shine
light
on
these
atrocities
and
get
justice
for
everyone
involved.
Many
of
the
people
being
taken
advantage
of
don’t
have
the
means
or
the
ability
to
stand
up
for
themselves.
