I really like the whole concept in Depoo, Konteiner seems like a nice place. However Pho Bo was a huge disappointment. Iā€™ve had it in tons of different restaurants but this one was seriously the worst one Iā€™ve ever tried. I wouldnā€™t order it again. One time was enough. I expected Vietnamese experience but there is a huge Estonian twist in it. It tastes more like a regular Eastern European beef broth. There were also carrot inside which I didnā€™t expect. So no, for me itā€™s a huge no. Also Iā€™m not a fan of a plastic spoons, Iā€™d more appreciate reusable/ compostable ones.

I had heard that they have good Vietnamese sandwiches but it was a very average experience. The sandwiches looked like they could be Vietnamese, but all they were was dry baguette with cabbage-carrot salad, burger sauce and some meat - a bit disappointing. Otherwise, the portions were big and the price not too expensive. The fried spring rolls were also tasty. I think that there are better places around.

We ordered the soup and the vermicelli and the taste was great. The soup was spicy but the right amount. You won't eat like in Vietnam but consider also that you are in estonia and the price offered is quite low. Despite many people don't recommend this place I think is a great choice for a cheap meal and a good taste in Tallinn. Also the staff is nice. We spent a total of 20ā‚¬ for 3 dishes and a beer. Recommended.

Unfortunately, at least the red curry and pho were a letdown - the heat and layers of flavour that make Vietnamese food so great just werenā€™t there at all. The meat was dry, the sauce bland. Summer rolls were basically carrot, cucumber and dry protein rolled into one.

Ordered takeout. Pho soup was not that good - all ingredients felt like they were just put together, no taste or synergy at all. But green curry and wok noodles were amazing! I would say that the food is pretty spicy, so you should keep that in mind, but not extremely hot. And portion sizes are pretty big! 1 soup and 2 main dishes - had to leave half of main dish for later. A nice experience in total, as the price is very friendly. Consider preordering the food, as the place seems to be in demand.

We ordered the red curry with tofu and summer rolls. The food was only edible and not at all like any vietnamese food I have had before.. It was also such a pity to have to use plastic cutlery even when eating at the restaurant. The price and portion sizes were very fair though, if you want to eat it.

Got a tofu banh mi from them this past summer. Really one of the worst sandwiches I've ever had. And not anything resembling a banh mi. Skip this place.

Green curry had carrot in it was not tasty, but not bad. Summer rolls were tasteless and I have no idea what was going on with sauces

Great place in Tallinn to get good food and have the buzzing hipster surrounding. The new "have a good time" spot for the tourists and easy going locals.

For last 3 times Iā€™ve gone there they have been out of vegan broth or soya or something else from the menu, making the choice almost nonexistent. The food itself is mediocre, portions are big, making it rather good value for your money. Choice of drinks are poor too. Very disturbing is their choice of a tableware - all plastic even when you eat at the location. Iā€™ll probably visit this place again some time but donā€™t really recommend it in hopes that they will step up they game.

The food has nothing to do with Vietnamese. Beef was hard, curry tastless. I ordered beef curry, but ate almost vegan cabbage-onion mixture with the cheapest rice on side (not Vietnamese). Felt embarrassed if someone was expecting something authentic out of it.

All single use plastics and containers, although they offer food on the spot. The food itself was not quite Vietnamese, especially the fresh rolls which were way bigger and had chunkier vegetables than they do in Vietnam, taste-wise it was not something I would order again. Don't ask for recommendations from the staff, they simply don't know. Coffee was what they offer in other local places, not Vietnamese (big difference as anyone who's been there knows).
