Let’s be clear and start telling the truth - this is not museum and there is nothing to see. This cafe-shop have to entries and based on two floors. You will se some marzipan made candies and figures in the several glass round vitrines. That’s basically all you can see. People just chilling there with cup of coffee and sweet snacks. I honestly don’t like lies and don’t like to loose my time. And I don’t understand why this place have nearly 5 stars.

Todella kodikas ja mukava paikka Tallinnan ytimessä. Kahvi on hyvää, leivokset erinomaisia ja erilaista kuklaata löytyy joka aukkoon ja tarpeeseen. Lämpimät suositukset:)

Please like my review if it's helpful 👍 Really seems like just a cafe albeit a really nice one. I expected to be shown how marzipan is made and maybe even participate in some way. There was a lady painting marzipan figures which is undeniably a skill but as I said I expected a lot more.

The method of moulding is a video, but the atmosphere is pleasant and there is a nice array of marzipan on sale.

About two to three monters with handpainted marzipan figures, if you like cute stuff don’t miss it, it’s literally just a room, but again, sooo cute :3 And such a fun idea for unique gifts. Who doesn’t want marzipan that looks like a fish!

We visited the cafe and it was the weakest experience of our visit to Tallinn. The staff seemed annoyed by our presence. The taste experience of coffee and desserts was rather below average. The environment of the cafe is nevertheless interesting

I had the worst Cappuccino which I think was made by the machines you find in hotel's lobby and I think it was not fair to pay for that cup. Cake and staff and location are good.

It's more a café than a museum but at that, it's quite nice. Coffees were great and the treats were excellent. There is a shop at the front to get more treats to take home. See the picture of the marzipan bar... they're delicious.

Why is this called a museum? It's more like a cafe. However, if you are vacationing in Tallinn, be sure to go to try the Kalev's marzipan and buy as a gift to relatives. It's really the most delicious marzipan which I have ever eaten.

Must place to visit for great cakes and chocolate. The service was a bit below my standards, but otherwise great atmosphere. Not the cheapest place, but worth visiting for great tastes.

Marzipan galore - in all shapes & sizes. Apparently this dessert originated from Estonia - first used as a medication then later on as a dessert.

A nice cafe, a good spot to take a break, have a drink and read a book. Bought some tasty marzipan from here too.
