There are happier people at funerals. The staff member that checked me in was exceptionally miserable. I will give him credit ashe did print off a couple of items for me, though he did sit and watch me for 25 minutes before I had to remind him ha I had emailed him a couple of things to print. Once printed he basically threw the paper at me. I was not told how to find my room. Just told it was across rhe Road. The room was not great, thankfully it was a discounted rate. The minibar was not working because there was only 1 plug for both the fridge and TV. The shower room had no curtain so water went everywhere. I had to cool drink down by opening the window and putting the can on the ledge. No kettle or tea and coffee facilities which is fine but then why have a shoe sponge, shoe horn and a couple of other items. Most would appreciate a kettle. The AC unit was non functional also and there were guests running up and down the corridor all night which I could hear clearly as the walls are paper thin. I recommend the IBIS budget hotel. Lovely staff. Good breakfast and good location for a slightly cheaper price

Not recommended place to stay if you wanna stay warm. I wanted to take a shower with hot water after staying cold environment outside. However at 21:30 there was no hot water supply. I called the reception desk and asked if there was an issue with the boiler. They said I would be able to get hot water supply soon. After half an hour, nothing changed. I gave up and went to bed with uncomfortable feeling. Better stay away from this hotel. This is not a 4 star hotel.

Outstandingly stylish, atmospheric, and well-appointed hotel. Buffet breakfast is both wide in range and excellent in quality. Superb you floor room in the annexe.

The hotel was right in the middle of the old city center which is a perfect location when only visiting for a weekend. The room was spacious, situated in the old building, however had no peculiar view. The room had a nice bathroom with a spacious shower and the heating was amazing, which is important when it is so cold outside. The breakfast was quite varied, and it was pleasant as it would go till 11. The staff was a superb!! They were all so nice and answered all of our questions, gave us good recommendations and were very welcoming. The hotel did not offer any toiletries, which was a bit disappointing when looking at the payed price. Next to that, the mini-bar was also paying.

Well this was just great! Will stay here again next time. The staff has some impressive language skills and they know what they are doing. The historical main building is so beautiful and super maintained. We stayed at the annex building which is also old and freshly renovated. Our room was on the second floor with a window to the street, but it was still quiet enough to sleep without ear plugs (I usually need ear plugs if there's any noise at all). The bed was great, bathroom was great, water pressure was great, cleanliness was great, the aircon was nothing short of amazing, even the hair dryer was great. Water kettle in the room with coffee, tea and creamer. Breakfast was the best, with baked vegetables adding a golden touch to the usual menu. The spacious historical breakfast lounge was something to enjoy itself. The location is fantastic in the heart of the old town. We tried to come up with something to complain, but couldn't think of anything. See you next time!

Excellent location, very central hotel in the old town. Rooms are nice, not very soundproofed but hopefully everybody was quiet and respectful. Breakfast is very good and WiFi works well.

The customer service is friendly and breakfast alright, but the bathrooms are a bit outdated and to be completely honest I have never really slept well in here due to the poor sound isolation.

Very nice hotel in the old Town of Tallinn. Excellent service and very efficient personnel makes your stay pleasant. The breakfast is very rich and will cover all tastes. Cheeses, hams, eggs, bacon, cakes, marmalades and much more to please the most demanding. The bar is small but cozy and quiet to spend some time with friends over a glass of wine and beer. There are many restaurants and bars around the hotel and the old Town is a very beautiful place to explore.

Very good location in the heart of the old town. Personnel were helpful and polite. Rooms were cozy and clean, toilets seem to have been redone not long ago so everything wotked well. Squeaky floors, so if you are a light sleeper, brings some ear plugs.

Awesome location, quite large rooms, decent breakfast. Beds are not that good, not enough pillows either. Also the rooms are quite simple and anemic. Nothing special, cozy or original. I'd say that this is an avarage hotel. If you want a good location and nothing else matters, choose this hotel. If you want a cozy and classy hotel, this is not for you.

Perfect location for a super cozy old school hotel. Loved it and excellent breakfast. So so sorry the water in the shower was out of contoll, funny not funny to be in the cold water with - 15 outside :)

Nice Location. Not The best breakfast i’v had in my hotel life 😬 the beds were not comfortable and the room we got were way too small for two people. I’d definitely choose an other hotel next time.

Great hotel, but with a few caveats. For example, the hotel is actually in a different building, and it is next to the nightclub, luckily I was in the 6th story (highest one) and didn’t hear it. The AC was broken though, just said “EI” or “E1”, not sure. Breakfast was ok, the items didn’t have names listed, so you had to go blindly there. Also the breakfast was the same every day. The showers heat control was completely wrong, you had to turn it below the blue line to get warm water, if it was on the red, it would give you burns.

This hotel is all about location location location, breakfast is adequate for the start of your day, could have done with tea and cookies facilities in room especially as we were in the separate building

I booked a double bedroom in the new building, and they gave me a single room in the old building. The room was tiny, dated and the carped needed to be replaced. When I complainted, they told me that the hotel was fully booked and the room I booked wasn't available. The breakfast was a bit poor for 4-star hotel.

Great location, large rooms and friendly customer service. My room was in the secondary location, but was cozy and quiet. The breakfast was tasty and with a variety of food. Would definitely recommend.

Kivalla paikalla oleva viehättävä hotelli. Huoneet ja yleiset tilat kaipaisivat kunnostusta. Osa huoneista kadun toisella puolella olevassa talossa. Meidän huone oli pimeä, kylmä ja hieman epäsiisti. Hotellin henkilökunta hieman epäystävällistä, kiinnostus asiakkaisiin puuttui. Aamupala keskinkertainen, tilan saisi pienellä vaivalla viihtyisämmäksi. Ensi kerralla valitsemme toisen hotellin, pelkällä kivalla sijainnilla ei asiakkaita saa palaamaan.

Nice place in the middle of city center. Room are amazing. The bathroom had a wierd smell. But again its quite old building. Service and breakfast was good

A slight disappointment. Beautiful historical building, great service, good location and tasty breakfast, but the room had it's issues. There must have been a nightclub either in the same building or right next to it, as we were woken up at midnight to the sounds. Our room was on the second floor and we stayed Sat-Sun, so if you're coming on a weekend I recommend either asking for a quiet room or reserving from another hotel entirely. The room's shower had problems, with the water sprouting this way and that from the showerhead. The "double bed" was just two single beds put together, separate mattresses, blankets and all. More fitting for a trip with friends than a couple, in my opinion.

The hotel is a delightful property in an ideal location. The old building is well maintained. The air conditioning in the room worked very well. Breakfast was great. The minuses were that there is nowhere to sit in the room; the mattresses are too firm; and the shower lacks water pressure, does not have adequate room, and the temperature varies wildly from moment to moment.

Street super busy and extremely loud: bring your ear covers!! Rooms are pretty, got the suite and it's pretty big, but they are a tad old and not fully maintained, for example the shower was leaking. The sauna is pretty great but heats in around 40mins. Good breakfast, but they should improve the scrambled eggs, they looked and tasted fake :)

Great location, on arrival had to wait for staff. Room was tidy and nice. Breakfast was fine except there was no allergens mentioned on most food. Bar nearby was bit too loud until 2am.

The location is excellent! The staff is nice, friendly, helpful and service-oriented. My double room in the Classical Side Building was one of the best hotel rooms that I've ever been in! The room is quite big, compared to another hotel rooms of the same level, and has a spacious closet within. In addition, there are some helpful furniture items in the room, like the small coffee table, the sofa, the writing desk etc..

We arrived in Tallinn after a 24 hr journey. The hotel I booked for my daughter and I was uninhabitable, spent 1 night and had to leave. So we saw Hotel Barons the next day in Old Town and walked in and asked about rooms. The manager on duty showed us two very nice rooms for good prices so we reserved the jr. suite (304) overlooking the street leading to Town Square. I could not believe our luck! The room is a historical old European style. We felt like princesses. 😄 Great service everywhere in the hotel. Good breakfast. We stayed 7 wonderful nights!

Nice service and a fairly good breakfast. Sits at a great location in old Tallinn close to both the center and to public transport. Lots of bars nearby at night.

Clean and nice room, average breakfast, poor box breakfast (for someone who needs it about 5:30 example for IronMan), lots of guest are older but some rooms are above music club. There are some noise in the night and lots of drunk people in weekends.

Very comfy beds, nice breakfast, beautiful atmosphere, friendly stuff and amazing location in the middle of old Town next to a lots of bars, restaurants and museums, close to the bus stops etc.

We had absolutely fantastic stay. The rooms very super clean and great service. Highly recommended, hope to come back.

Beautiful hotel, especially the modern house provides very nice and cozy rooms. The person at the reception was outstandingly nice. We felt super comfortable. The only improving point is that the breakfast could provide more options! All in all, it was a great stay in an excellent location! :)

A nice place with incredible service. We were offered a discounted upgrade to the master suite for our four person stay before we got there. We we promised that the upgrade could take four people. getting into the room, there was a bed and a fold out chair which was broken. Reported this to the staff and they brought up a single person cot that I a 70 kg person fell though immediately upon laying on it. In the end me and my girlfriend slept on the floor of the nicest room they have. Breakfast was okay, but the juice machine was broken.

Decently priced for it's prime location and large rooms, however in the winter you need to adjust each of the heaters located around the room manually. Tasty breakfast.

Great hotel. Friendly staff, room.was massive and spotlessly clean..Towels changed, room tidied daily by lovely ladies. Amazing view, in the middle.ofnold town,near to everything.

Would've been 1 star if it wasn't for the great location. Upon arrival, the room was hot and the ac didn't work, since it needed a filter change. The receptionist was fast to act on this though, props to him for the quick service. The bed was way too soft and narrow. The water temperature in the shower kept changing between lukewarm and burning hot. The breakfast was the worst we've had in Tallinn. No info on the milk produce, if it had lactose or not. Some of the food felt like it was yesterdays food reheated. Would not recommend.

Nice building and beautiful (if small) rooms. Location is very central, but on the other hand you hear the Old Town nightclub crowds shouting on the street all night. Breakfast was very basic and service a little sour even on estonian standards. Not enough value for money.

The hotel was quite disappointing. We got a room in a second building (which was a surprise to us) and the room for 4 people was very small and run down - we could barely fit. Also, the building is right next to a night club so we heard loud techno music and noise from the 2nd floor way into the night. The staff was not friendly at all and the breakfast was exactly the same each morning... Plus, the breakfast items were not labeled so we did not know what was what - e.g. meat balls turned out to be fish balls... Some upgrades and friendliness would not hurt...

I was in this hotel with my husband for one week. Everything was very good, very nice room service. Rooms was quite big und clean. Breakfast was fresh, tasty, but could have been more choice. I definitely recommend it.

Welcoming reception, nice location at the center of Old Town. Breakfast was good. Mattress in the double bedroom was poor, they separated in between and were uncomfortable to sleep on. It would be good to have at least a mattress topper. No water boiler and complementary coffee or tea available.
