I never understood the reason for the extremely cold service, not once but two different times on two different days, albeit from the same person. The first time I ignored it as maybe a bad day for the human being on the other side. But felt so unwelcome when the same happened the second time. Although now I understand from the other reviews, that I wasn't the only one. And that this has been the case with this place for years! Maybe this is just a place for regular customers and others are frowned upon. And it's not even a case of taking up their busy time, since I know my cigars and literally shopped within 2 mins (while feeling pressured, mind you) for about 100 EUR in the two times I visited this place. Not planning to gatecrash whatever they have going on in there again. That's how I felt. Plenty of other amazing lounges and shops in Tallinn!

I had my first good cigar experience at this establishment years ago. It started my life long hobby. Now, more than a decade after, I returned. Sadly, the salesman behind the desk could not have been less enthusiastic about serving his customers. Bored, frustrated, lacking basic friendliness, even smirking to our questions. Business has to be really good for the store to keep such staff. We felt unwelcome beyond belief. In a hurry, we chose some cigars, only because we were in a hurry and had no time to find our way to a competing establishment. Next time we shall walk past this. Sad, I know Tallinn Cigar House has history and expertise. I wished to enjoy a cigar there, but after the cold customer service we could not get out fast enough. We felt the clerk was only happy to see us leave. Cannot recommend.

Very nice building inside but the service was more than a little frosty. It seems the regulars were treated very well but the host was curt and the waiters went by three times when I wanted to order a drink and I couldn’t catch their eye. Place wasn’t at all busy. I expect the full experience when I go for a nice drink and a cigar. Didn’t get it.

A very nice place overall. Choice of cigars, cognacs, whiskeys, a very nice lounge... BUT guys please change one of your salesman. A very unwelcoming and unpleasant person. I do not know the name - but most of 1 star reviews here are about him (please check them out). I am visiting Tallinn and this cigar house for nearly 10 years. He is spoiling the impression totally and if he is on duty i opt for another lounge. You have 1 woman and 2 men; a woman and one man are fantastic. The other one (the one who worked on 28th of August 2021) is a problem.

Good cigar lounge with awful staff! I highly recommend the owner to fire today seller. He is unprofessional and definitely doesn’t motivate to sell anything

All the same problems as mentioned previously. As a local every time I come there, there is an excuse to not let us in. Sometimes it is 1 hour before closing and they are not receiving anymore customers or the house is full although I could see through the hall that there were seats available. Last excuse was that we were wearing shorts during the summer evening, eventhough there are no dresscode rules. It is always the same guy with the worst attitude and judging grumpy cat face all the time. Used to love this place, but I do not recommend going there because of the service! And please do not put the same comment under mine review, that you will try to work on your customer service, because you are clearly not doing that!

Pretty desecent selection of standard pouched pipe tobaccoes, among others brands like Amphora and Mc Barens Scottish Mix yet Amsterdamer and MyHeer Roll You owns, whereas Tinned tobacco is no longer existing.Moreover assortment for cigars and cigarillos are even better, I was very pleased to find Italian Toscanellos at pretty affordable price,6 e per 5. Note;Sigarimaja's main outlet is located in the old city center by market square,and they carry a wide selected of well known smokingpipe brands such as Stanwell & Savinellis prices start at 70e yet pipe and rolling tobaccoes,+ cigarettes. You can Preorder your stuff by phone and collect them later(upon arrival ring the store door bell ,I believe they use to keem them closed even when operating)All major credit and debit cards approved. All in all, this was a nice shopping experience and recommended for any seasoned pipe and cigar smoker. Hope they will keeping improving their pipe tobacco assortment in the days to come

Had a great experience at Cigar House. Not easy to find in the dark square, look for green awning, but once you step inside you are met with friendly service and a top shelf selection of sticks to choose from. Best selection of Ashton I have found in Europe! The drink menu is extensive on everything but beer, however it was cold and wet so what else could you ask for? Very well ventilated which is something I always look for in a proper cigar lounge. I wish my town in Germany had a spot this nice to enjoy on a regular basis.

I’m enjoying an excellent Camacho and beer here and find it to be a very nice cigar lounge.

Estonia, lovers of their freedom since 1991 granted them in peaceful restoration of their culture by Boris Yeltsin, first president of Russia. Fun, engaging and beautiful people and culture. This tobacco shop has a generous collection of pipes, cigars and accoutrements well worth your time. The aroma is amazing. Cubanos and a hand made pipe are the booty of the day. Lots more to see, an expansive outdoor flower shop, antique apothecaries , monuments to their history and many delicious food choices. Highly recommended!

Paikasta ja valikoimasta 5/5👍🥃 Palvelusta miinus, voisi olla huomattavasti ystävällisempää ja ohjeistavampaa varsinkin niille jotka ei ole niin kokeneita sikarien parissa.

Very good selection of cigars. I am no expert when it comes to selecting cigars but the employees were able to help me. I had no issues with the service, quite the opposite. The two staff members helped me selecting my cigar and then guided me how to select the perfect drink for the cigar. And I have to say, the drink + cigar matched perfectly together! I have never had such a good service in my life, highly recommended!

Need place to smoke or buy cigar - best place in Tallinn you can find. Friendly personal are included. Highly advice.

While on a brief stopover on a cruise I went in to pick up a couple of Montecristo #2. At first the clerk was a bit "frosty" as someone else here has mentioned. But, upon talking to him he quickly warmed up and then apologized. He said they had had too many bad experiences with tourists who were just coming in to browse and would even handle and destroy the cigars. I can't blame him for being a bit wary - though what other clientele do you expect in the center of a tourist area? That being said, he became quite friendly, showed me around, showed me the stock in the humidor, and all was well. Price of the #2s with tax came out to be about $16.68 after conversion. So not too bad for the market.

Always a great experience at Sigari Maja. A very nice selection of Cuban and other cigars. It is a delight to kick back with a Havana and a port wine in the dark panel lounge in the back. It is as close to the Platonic ideal of a cigar lounge as I have found. Would add that there is no wireless inside, so that the atmosphere is not compromised.

This cigar house is perfect. I boght several Al capones and Handelsgold cigarillos and one big Cuban sigar. It is my pleasure to recommend this shop. Thanks from Italy
