😐 The capsules look very cool but mine didn't lock, TV remote didn't connect to the TV properly, the plug socket didn't work, and the USB chargers weren't powerful enough to charge my phone. So, the bed part was absolutely fine but all the extra stuff was broken. And since there are no staff on site,... The capsules look very cool but mine didn't lock, TV remote didn't connect to the TV properly, the plug socket didn't work, and the USB chargers weren't powerful enough to charge my phone. So, the bed part was absolutely fine but all the extra stuff was broken. And since there are no staff on site, it would have been hassle to get any of this sorted out, so I didn't bother trying.

Filthy cabin, completely unclean and unhygenic. Customer service unresponsive. Avoid.

I'm afraid I cannot recommend this place. It will do for a place to sleep, _if_ everything actually works. But it's no better than any other hostel, while being more expensive. Pros: Bathrooms are clean. Communal kitchen is nice. Location is not central, but very easy access by a single tram that arrives frequently. Booking and check-in was simple and efficient. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Cons: If you need any help or service at all, don't expect to get it. My capsule had a broken clock and a broken TV. Relatively minor issues but although they said they would fix it the next day, they never did. Much more importantly, my capsule didn't lock and I got no response to repeated requests to fix it. At that point it isn't any better than a regular hostel bunk bed (which would also be much less overheated, because their air exchange system is loud yet somehow completely ineffective - it was 28 degrees inside), so why pay a premium for this so-called "spaceship experience"? In general their marketing is pretty overblown. The "nearby food options" are minimal and it's not a location tourists would spend much time in. Not every capsule has a safe, the towels are by no means "fluffy", and the "shower-cabins with private wardrobe" are just.. showers with a door.

Amazing and very clean and practical. It had a big kitchen and clean toilets. Remember to bring your toiletries. They didn't have any soap for shower but that's not that important for me.

Very cool place, they even managed to move my booking because I've booked a wrong date free of charge. The capsules are quite big and comfortable.

I can honestly say that this hotel is worth its money, I was delighted. Immediately a trailer, if my mother settled, she would not understand. But this is a super cool experience, I was skeptical, but since I was booking a place for the night at the last moment, it seemed to me the best option according to the reviews on Booking. So it is. It is SUPER CLEAN here. Considering that this is a hostel, it is as clean as a 4-star hotel. The kitchen is comfortable and has everything you need. A coffee machine and a machine with snacks. The cabin is a little noisy, like the noise of equipment, and some small light bulbs are constantly on, BUT, you are provided with earplugs and a sleep mask that you can buy in the apartment. If you need to use a washing machine, there is also such an opportunity. I recommend you now to everyone. It was great experience. Thank you 😊

Simple and quirky. No staff made things difficult. Vending machines not working. Would give it another shot though. Cheap and cheerful

Very cheap stay. You are given a pair of slippers, there is a common shower, there is a common kitchen. All in all it wasn’t that bad.. maybe just a bit far from the center but you can reach it by footbike or bus

One of the worst experiences of my life. I am happy they took me in a night before because I did book the wrong date. But unfortunately I hated the stay. I couldn't use the kitchen because they were having a party there. The showers have black mould growing and the water pressure is very bad. Plus it's very cold in the building overall. The pods themselves have been built very poorly, its cheap plastic. The matress is just a topper and I felt like sleeping on the floor. The biggest problem was the fact that there were stains underneath the bedsheet!!!! They said that I should've contacted them the same night but the manager who opened the door for me was drunk and I actually was scared. I asked them if I could get somesort of a refund because it was horrible but they said no. So please be careful when you go there because it's not okay that there are parties and I as a female have to be scared to sleep there. I left as soon as I could. Never going back there.

Kokeilun vuoksi tÀllÀinen yöpyminen. Julkinen liikenne keskustasta melkein ovelle. Oli aika uusi, joten kaikki vielÀ hyvÀssÀ kunnossa ja siistiÀ. Yhteiskeittiö oli hyvin varusteltu ja iso.

I've been keen to stay at this hostel for a while and it didn't disappoint. Very, very clean. Modern. There is a vending machine which stocks good range of snacks and drinks. Not too far from the city centre. For someone impatient like me, it took a short while to get used to how to lock the doors from the inside and from the outside as well as get used to how all the buttons worked. But the staff (they are remote. There is no staff on the premises) were very helpful. It is also fairly good value for money. Will come here again.

Big and comfortable kitchen and all amenities. Guests are much better than regular hostel foreign construction workers in this area.

You have to try this place. Never seen a capsule hotel outside of japan before. The place was really clean and quiet. This is not a party hostel. There is a kitchen where you can cook for yourself. Its abit far away from city center but there you can see also something else tham tourists. Just on opposit side is super alko also ;)

A different experience. I stayed 1 night in it. You will have a space shuttle experience 😀. The place is clean and silent during the night. Mobile should be silent. I stayed in a mixed dormitory. There’s a common kitchen. Toilet and shower is in different places, Follow the sign language. It’s not good for OCD and Claustrophobic people.

The concept is attractive, however in reality most of the “automated features” don’t work! Accessing the building was a nightmare, no one to open for you, you call the number and no one answers! And this is at 11am. If you are not travelling alone, it more worth it to go for a normal place, in town, it ends up cheaper, more accessible and with less headache

I felt quite safe staying here, both for myself and my belongings. Although it is not in walkable distance to the city centre, there are multiple buses and trams going there every few minutes. It is also very clean. I highly recommend it for solo travellers.

This place is fantastic! It is ultra clean and very quiet. Obviously the time of year will effect that but once your in your pod it didn't matter what is going on outside. It is a 30 minute walk to the old town and I'm not too sure there is a lot around here, but it is a simple walk and a bit of a walk and fresh air never hurts! Dont hesitate to stay here!

Everything is self service, but you have all amenities accessible.

  • 5/5 Ignas G. 1 year ago on Google
Well, it's a perfect way to stay for few nights, in capsule you have everything you need, air, tv , god knows why but a big mirror as well 😁 neat and comfortable. there's WC and shower rooms, storage room for all necessary things you packed. The best thing is 24/7 self check-in. 100x better then booking.com(edy) only one downside that you kinda can't choose if your capsule will be in first or second floor (đŸŽ›ïžđŸŽ›ïž) for someone who have some muscle problems 2'nd floor might be problematic but possible. Most definitely come back on my next trip. ❀

Interesting experience! The capsules were cool and had everything you needed. We just tought we would have a capsule for 2 since the booking said a room for 2. They are not sound proof though. Clean spaces but not a very social hostel if that's what you are after.

First time in a capsule hotel and positively surprised! The self check in was 24h and really fast and straightforward. In addition the access to the lockers and the capsules was really easy. And finally the capsule itself is quite spacious and well equipped.

A good place to sleep. Easy automated check-in experience, free towel. Capsules could be better soundproofed, but there are free earplugs, so it's not really a problem. Kitchen was ok and there is a snack machine there. Bathroom had plenty of showers. Everything seemed clean. Hostel is located a bit away from the centre, but there is a bus/tram stop just nearby.

(Translated by Google) Very good and affordable place to stay and spend a few nights. There is a very well equipped kitchen on site, everything important is there. A safe place to store your belongings and comfortable and private capsules for a peaceful night's sleep. Excellent washing possibilities, very good water pressure in the showers. A decent toilet is also available. WiFi speed is great. There is a bus stop and a tram stop nearby. Good connection also for going by car or electric scooter. There is an olerex petrol station nearby, where you can find everything important from meals to cosmetics and household items, as well as food and more. Accommodation in the facility is comfortable and cozy and safe. Private check-in and check-out. I highly recommend! (Original) VĂ€ga hea ja soodne koht majutuseks ja mĂ”ne öö veetmiseks. Decent place to spend the night. Pros: Well-designed place, everything works on auto-pilot, cheapest place to get a bed with personal space in Tallinn. Cons: Found the capsule to be a bit too small, and it wasn't cleaned properly. You can hear what other people are doing (eg mild distant snoring). Didn't feel too comfortable because of the fact that all neighboring capsules were occupied. Read more for more details: Background I was looking for a place to spend the night after a 1000 km trip by car. I was looking for something that filled the following three criteria: cheap, private space (not shared room/dormitory), free parking. From the search I did, I found that capsulehostels offered all three for the lowest price. Booking and arriving I booked the capsule 24h before, online. It was relatively simple and easy. Confirmation as well as information mails all came in full Estonian only. I would have liked for the mails to include an English version. The instructions for entering and settling are all very clear and the whole procedure from entering the building to finding your capsule is simple. Sadly, I didn't find any information regarding the free parking, so I just left the car on a nearby side road and I didn't have any issues. Facilities Upon entering there is a spacy living room on the right and a sitting room on the left. Nice atmosphere. Going straight you enter the main hall, where you have access to the WC, showers, lockers, kitchen. All worked good and as expected, not much to add. Slight issues with the automatic vending machine in the kitchen (unclear for a non-native speaker). Capsule So far so good, but unfortunately this part disappointed me a bit. Upon entering the code and opening the slide door, I found two unused filters for rolling cigarettes on the door railway. It was the first thing my eyes happened upon, so it would be really hard to miss when cleaning. The mattress is nice, but nothing too fancy. Definitely have slept on better mattresses in cheaper hostels. I loved the fact that there were two pillows, as I very rarely find that and I have trouble sleeping on only one pillow. The interface took some time getting used to, and I didn't feel its design provided any actual ease of use, so it was more like a design only thing. The TV screen inside the capsule is mediocre, and generally anyone with a decent smartphone will definitely prefer to stick to it. Never felt any space/sci-fi vibe. I'm not at all claustrophobic, but I found myself not feeling very comfortable lying on the mattress, being aware of all the people nearby and in a relatively small space. Long story short, imo it doesn't live up to the hype. I give 3 stars because it fulfilled all my expectations for spending the night and having access to shower/kitchen/bed, but I never felt the advertised experience, so minus two stars for that.
