Always an amazing view! I look forward to visiting it again, but this time not in uniform. All of Kurdistan was wonderful and beautiful and I'm sure it is even more so now. The history is amazing too!! If you are in the area, this is a must see!

What a messy place! We came here for enjoying the view onto Duhok, but after traveling in 74 countries for the last 3 years we rarely saw trashed places like this. Rubbish and trash all around and we saw locals just throwing everything, everywhere. The place offers dozens of plastic chairs and plastic tables along the rim. It could have been a perfect place for enjoying the sunset above Duhok, as the views are really breathtaking. But it looks more like an abandoned park of the 60s, rather than something to enjoy and you will find trash basically everywhere. We drove a bit down the hill for searching for another place, but also there: everywhere, where people can drive with their cars, you see BBQ places, huge carpets lying around and: Trash, trash, trash. Thousands of plastic bottles, wet papers, toilet papers, plastic bags, remains of food. The whole mountain is just a disgusting place and maybe locals might find it appropriate between all this trash, but we as tourists, definitely not. Shame on all these people.

Beautiful park at the top of Zawa mountain, but there is only one super expensive restaurant up there. It would be nice if there were some cheaper food kiosks or maybe even a market

The summit of Mount Zawa, adjacent to the city, and the best time to climb it is at night, but the weather is always cold.

Zawa park is one of the tourist places in Duhok. It’s located in Zawa mountain in southern Duhok. Zawa park is very beautiful for family’s. There are restaurants and cafés and very comfortable places and prices in there is average. The view In Zawa park are very good that you can see the city overhead.
