This stadium is really huge, beautiful architecture and located in centre of tamale , close to the principal area of business. There is the field,some offices, changing rooms , a conference hall bathrooms (which were so unkempt) and others. A place to definitely see when you are in tamale. Sanitation of the bathrooms need massive improvement.

The Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, named after the late former Vice President of Ghana, Aliu Mahama, is located in the heart of Tamale, the Northern Regional capital. It is situated at Nyohini. It is place for sports events, showbiz and entertainment, seminars etc. The glowing white painting makes it look outstanding aside it's genius modeling.

Opened to all.. All sporting activities, both track and field can be done there.. Just a nice place to be..

Went there to visit, stayed there for a game that was about to start, GH¢ 5 for the entrance. The stadium is in rather okay condition, but nonetheless it was a nice experience.

This is the biggest sports complex in Northern region. Its under the authority of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. It serves as a home for football teams in the Northern region. Ie. Tamale City fc, Real Tamale United etc. There's a well furnished gym opened to all and a conference room. There's also an open space to host events like weddings, parties etc. It serves as a venue for most concerts in Tamale.

It's the best sports stadium in Northern Ghana and also one of the best stadium in the nation. It has a capacity of 21 thousand plus, guests rooms, conference halls, gym, offices and more.

The stadium need maintenance. There are cowebs all over the building, there is know water running through the wcs u enable u flash after use, most of the lights on the corridors too are not working

This is a nice and cool place especially for football activities I watched a match between RTU vs Samartex which ended goalless draw I hope I will be here with my family every weekend to cheer my Northern Teams up in their home games

Beautiful stadium in the heart of Tamale which is currently used for football games and other social events. Unfortunately there was no football game ongoing at the time I visited.

The Premier Sports complex in the Northern Region and the North as a whole. Its well designed and is also used to stage various music concerts by the big artistes around.

It's the most beautiful stadium in the city of Tamale located on the Sagnarigu road about a km to Tamasco.

Safe place for sporting events.

This stadia is in a bad state. Clearly, it lacks maintenance. The pitch has been poorly kept, and grass worn out and turning brown. The whole stadia is dirty and needs serious attention. By the way, RTU won 3:1 against Accra Lions

Nice pitch. Few facilities like washrooms, furniture needs upgrade. Supporters may not sit comfortably during rainy or sunny sessions during to non-functional roofing systems. Generally functioning but addition or upgrade will make it worth visiting.
