it was really fun to visit but dont rely on being able to eat there! the food menu is very limited in the first place, but by the time we got there around 1pm they were out of food so we werent able to eat lunch at all. the saving grace was being able to see the 86 and fd outside!

Nothing fancy about the restaurant but it's Mecca for initial D fans and visiting it is like a pilgrimage. The tofu pudding is quite nice, nothing much to offer from the cafe. The cafe is lined with sport cars from the 90's dressed in the livery of initial D street race cars. Very fitting for the mountainous roads of gunma.

Great little place to stop by on the way to Mount Haruna (or more popularly known as Mount Akina from Initial D!). Menu and food stock is limited so try and get in early! Tofu jars were really nice, especially the white tofu which is actually sweet. Awesome cars outside with a few RX7 FD and AE86 from the anime

A must place for tuning enthusiast and of course Initial D fans. It is near to Mount Akita. (Real name actually is Mount Haruna. Further up the hill is where the Initial D movie was filmed. Fully recommend.

This is a small but very interesting cafe witha garage attached to it. A perfect place to either begin or end your 榛名山 road trip.

Cool place..the tofu purin is so yummy..

A must for Initial D fans and/or car enthusiasts. The pudding is great tho somewhat expensive. You get to keep the glass it comes in though so you have a souvenir.

If you're a fan of Initial D, or you just like cars, this place is a must visit stop. The cars outside are amazing, and the goods on display and on sale are worth your time. If you're feeling hungry, the curry here is black as motor oil, but very tasty. And there's dessert and drinks available too. There's a reason this café is still so popular.

A must-see for Initial D fans! Place is decorated to the nines with merchandise and theming and racing paraphernalia. Food is secondary to the experience but still with ample presentation. Garage attached with hot JDM cars.
