If
you're
heading
into
Nihon
Canpack
Ōmuro
Park
expecting
Disneyland-level
enchantment,
you
might
want
to
reset
those
expectations
just
a
tad.
It's
not
exactly
the
glitziest
spot
in
town,
but
hey,
not
everything
has
to
be.
The
kofuns
are
a
nationally
designated
historic
site
that
pretty
much
whispers,
"Hey,
I've
got
stories."
The
"Toki
no
Hiroba"
showcases
an
art
piece
that
makes
you
tilt
your
head
and
go,
"Hmm,
interesting."
Now,
"Shinsai
Hiroba"
–
that's
for
the
marine
life
enthusiasts.
There's
“Minna
no
Harappa”
and
the
playfully
named
“jabu-jabu
pond.”
Perfect
spots
to
get
those
feet
wet
or
let
the
kids
run
wild.
And
if
you’re
into
the
simple
joys,
like
dangling
a
fishing
line
under
some
lush
trees,
they've
got
you
covered.
The
mountain
views
from
the
Shikihiroba-shiki
plaza?
Not
half
bad.
Might
even
make
you
pause
and
take
a
selfie.
So,
all
in
all,
it's
not
the
glitz
and
glam
of
big-city
attractions.
But
for
a
deep
dive
into
history
with
a
sprinkle
of
fun?
This
park's
got
game.
Just,
you
know,
in
its
own
low-key
way.
