寒桜、紅葉、御荷鉾山や藤岡市などの眺望、小一時間で散策出来る素晴らしい公園です。ベンチも多く、また、駐車場には蕎麦屋など飲食店もあり、1日ゆっくりと過ごすのも良いと思います。11月6日から12月5日迄は土日に限って夜9時迄ライトアップしております。駐車場は有料で500円、入場料はありません。第1駐車場と第2駐車場の分岐の所に紅葉の日本庭園があります。そこから桜の山への小道が始まります。小山を乗り越えると御荷鉾山が綺麗に見える展望台があります。一旦下ると、結構急な階段があり300段程度でしょうか、山頂へ至ります。藤岡市や深谷市方面が一望出来、夜景も素晴らしいのではないでしょうか。階段がきついという方は山の中腹から螺旋のように山頂を巻いて行く道がありますのでそちらを利用されたら良いと思います。山腹を一周することにより万華鏡のように移り行く素晴らしい景色を楽しむ事が出来ます。トイレは駐車場、日本庭園の所にあります。
