Left disappointed as the cave is close since December until February (winter season). The notice was not posted on the official website. Not sure if this is a yearly occurrence...

If it is not busy, DO NOT PARK IN THE FIRST CAR PARK. You can continue down the road (even though it looks narrow and a little grown over) and park for free. Not one of the most exciting cave systems in Japan, but definitely worth a visit. Many people said that its not good for larger people, but I am 177cm, larger than average and I made it through OK. Not great for people with claustrophobia though.

It is a limestone cave. If you are tall, beware. If you are at all claustrophobic, beware. Otherwise, there are no surprises here...

This was a really cool area! The cave was so fun to trek though and explore. Afterwards we all cooled off with a dessert at a shop there. Really fun afternoon and I recommend it.

Great place ! Need to be really fit to walk through the narrow path. Not recommended for people with babies, big size people, senior citizens.

涼しいところです Good air conditioning! Well recommended on a hot day. Not recommended for bigger folks Cave was ok. Heaps of concrete, handrails, lights and power cables. Would be an awesome cave in its natural condition
