西武秩父駅から徒歩12分位。
入口は鳥居では無く、注連縄が石柱に渡されている。
社殿は妻入で屋根が伸びた形状。
参拝後、隣に建つ社務所にて御朱印を拝受。今宮神社と「御姿」の御朱印２体お願いして初穂料は各500円。御朱印帳を渡した後に気付いたのだが、此方の御朱印帳は龍の図柄でなかなか格好良い！氷川神社の御朱印帳も残り２頁。新しい帳面は次の神社で入手する事にしよう。
それにしても、社殿の色が気になって社務所の方に尋ねたところ、宮司さん(多分)に説明して頂けた。此方の社殿の色が本来の「朱色」だそうで、群馬の貫前神社と同じ色なのを思い出した。日本の伝統色の朱はこの色なのかと納得！では、お稲荷さん等の鮮やかな鳥居の色はこれから何色と表現すれば良いのだろうか？
此の後、秩父神社へ。
