Grassroots has an amazing atmosphere, great food, and fun people. I've been there several times, I go there just to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Sometimes they have live shows, events, and other special occasions. Definitely if you're in Yokohama go check it out.

This is my favorite local joint, found in a basement near the Yokohama HUB (North Exit). Owner makes strong drinks, vibe is artsy, warm, and relaxed. Occasionally holds live performances and events, as well as showcasing local artists’ work. Smoking is allowed, though. Just for those sensitive to it.

Very cool place to chillax, nibble on great food, drink and listen to cool music. Cool vibe here... I will be back.

Store owner was mean

A shop located in the basement of Tsuruya-cho. It was crowded with many customers. The food was delicious too!

Great location if you want to chill and have a bottle of wine. Wine price was 2200 yen which is cheap for a place in Yokohama. Gave it a 4 out 5 because it doesn't accept card payments. However would come again.

I don’t do reviews often but, tonight had to have been one of the worse days of my life in 2023 but, this place lifted my spirit. The owners were amazing hostess, the food was amazing, the music matched the atmosphere, the art was strong in that place and it felt like home; the vibe was everything. This might be my regular spot to just sit and enjoy life. It’s really close to the Yokohama train station. The drinks were stiff (strong); the music was soulful and it was just an amazing vibe through and through. The Margarita Pizza was great !! This is an amazing spot!
