Beautiful park but terrible dog owners. Dogs coming in not neutered and trying to mount other dogs. Owners do absolutely nothing. Everyone sits and lets there dogs take off without watching them. Extremely dangerous. To the guy who let his husky mount other dogs and provoke two large dogs that showed signs that they were not happy, shame on you. You should not be a dog owner as you didn’t even recall your dog or step in when a German shepherd showed negative reaction to being persistently mounted. And to everyone that just stood around at the park without stepping in, shame of you. We are responsible for our own dogs and the ones around us. They are animals that can have any reaction, negative or positive, at any time. Very disappointed in this community. Never have I had an issue in my twenty odd years of owning dogs and going to dog parks and dog daycare facilities.

Open from T-Sun from sunrise to sunset. This is a big park with a common area where you can sit, wash your dog with a hose, and get them some water from the water fountain. It also has 2 adjacent areas - one for dogs with less than 25lbs, and another for dogs above 25lbs. I always go to the “big dog” area - has 5 seating zones for people to rest, lots of running space, stairs and tubes for the doggos, and various trees which provide shade. The small area also has all these amenities, but in a smaller scale. This park is rarely empty (a good thing for your dog to play) as it has a jogging/walking/bicycling path next to the park, and a big area where the Sunday Farmer’s Market takes place. It is closed on Mondays for cleaning and maintenance work.

Tamarac made a really nice park for dogs. The dogs had a great time. One owner was a bully like his dog. His young daughter had a lot of respect for others and tried to get the gray pitbull under control. The owner was no help to the daughter. He was forced to leave the dog park after his dog attacked other dogs three different times. Tekoa and Kairo are twin sisters who reunited after six months of adoption. What a play day they had. All the other dogs in sight played well

Great dog park. Areas to sit and watch dogs run and play. Separate areas for large and small dogs

Great place to bring your 4 legged friend. Plenty of bowls and working water fountains. Poop bag stations all around the perimeter. Plenty of parking. The pic is what happened to my dog when we got home from her play time!

I've actually not been to other dog parks so I have nothing to compare it to but I like it enough to keep coming back. The park is kept clean, they provide poop bags and there's a dog bathing area. I've been in the area long enough to remember when they first built the park. There used to be almost no shade trees but after plenty of years, the little saplings have grown a lot. Overall, nice little run for the pups.

Wonderful dog park. The property is clean and well kept. Definitely worth visiting. We stopped here passing through town, was well worth it. All four pups had a chance to stretch legs and relieve themselves. Friendly guest made the experience pleasant.

I’m going to say for the most part this park is great for little dogs and big since they each have their respective areas to play. I enjoy the humor in the drama of people watching and dog watching as they chase each other and just be happy. I am an animal person First and tend to trust animals way more than people . So maybe I’m bias.

Very nice and clean park, it would be nice to have a little bit of more light on the walk path it gets too dark

Great spot. Ava loved running around. She really wasted some energy.

3 stars because of the park goers - I love the “special” dog run side where “aggressive” or less social dogs get to have some outside time BUT it gets hogged and I’ve literally seen fights over it. I have big dogs and it’s not busy most of the time I go so it sucks not having pups to play with, the groups that are there are super hit or miss too. Not the worst dog park but definitely not a consistently good experience

It's nice and large with a pagoda and some covered seating and a drinking fountain for humans and dogs. There isn't much in the big dog section as far as obstacles for the dogs. There is one tiny tunnel and 1 A-frame and just open grass. It's busier in the day with more dogs and people, so lots of play time!

The park overall is wonderful, beautiful and well kept but there's no security. On Sunday 11/27 at 5:15 pm I arrived at the park to walk my dog. When we returned to the car, our windows were broken and my purse was stolen. No one witnessed anything and there aren't cameras in the area. On Tamarac Talks I also noticed this happened to someone else in October, it would be great if there was some type of security in the park. We did notice 2 people in a car behind us watching us but didn't think anything wrong.

We visited this park for a nice Sunday out with our fur babies and someone broke into our car and stole or purse and phone. If you go to this park be very careful and don’t leave things in the car. Crime seems rampant and we were told we are not the only ones. Maybe they should consider putting a camera in the parking lot.

My favorite go to park. The park is large and has many benches to sit on with covers. It has been maintained and the people there are friendly. The park is open 7 days a week, even though the post says they are closed on sundays.

Well maintained dog park in with separate large and small dog areas. My dog loves it and goes there almost every day.

Great park to bring your pups. Everyone is very friendly. Majority of the dogs are kept a close eye by their owners but they have 3 sections 1 for small pups 1 for big pups and 1 section if you don't want to have your dog with other dogs Great shaded areas for people to sit as well.

Twin Sister Malinois 8 month old pups meet after 6 months from adoption and spend the day at the dog park.
