Really bad. I ordered some prawn and basil pesto tagliatelle, but I couldn't taste any pesto and the dish was so salty I couldn't eat it. I only had 2 prawns with a weird texture. My friends had the same opinion, so I gave this feedback to the waiters. They didn't say anything, no "sorry", no "thank you for your feedback", nothing. Worst italian restaurant experience ever. UPDATE: some of my friends felt sick after the dinner at this restaurant. Also, please check the very rude replies they are giving to negative reviews. Avoid!

Menu is quite limited so be aware that you won’t be able to order many of your standard Italian cuisine bits. I asked for an off menu dish which was OK, but not brilliant. Nice outdoor seating and live music on certain days!

What an amazing place. The atmosphere where you dine is absolutely gorgeous, the decor, the lightning, all were just so fitting. The table mat, the dishes food were served on, i can keep going on and on and on, i am in love with the place. It looks like they have a deli attached to the place that looks nicely done. They had a singer on the keyboard on the night of 19th of August 2023, what a pleasure that was, the singer had such an amazing voice, i was in awe with his voice, that made dinner so glorious. Staff are so attentive. The lady manager is absolutely knowledgeable about the menu and she was so welcoming. Food was just amazing, I can't believe it was my last night in Tamarin and felt absolutely gutted I only discovered the place right before I leave. I have to also thank the staff as right at the end of dinner, my gran fell unwell and the staff were concerned and helped us deal with this unfortunate situation. My last night in Tamarin was spent in this amazing restaurant made it so memorable.

Best Italian restaurant in Mauritius. Excellent selection of freshly made pastas. The menu changes every day. Mouth watering food. MUST TRY if you are in tamarin.

One of the best "Italian" experiences so far in Mauritius. It is on the pricy side but the quality is there for our 4 dishes. Recommend the "Tagliolini a l'encre de seiche, fruits de mer"

The service was so friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful! Chef Rocco (which is now the name of the restaurant) was super nice and spoke great english. The menu was on a chalkboard which is expected for an Italian place and the food came out in good time. I only have the picture of my meal but it was sooo tasty and the prawns were massive!! The food was very filling and theres also a deli next door if you wanted to buy anything that was used (the tiramisu was too delicious that our family bought 2!!!)

Personally, I just cannot fault the place. My wife and I, and on occasion our daughter too, frequent Rocco's about once a week... if it goes longer than two weeks we are having withdrawal symptoms! Truly excellent in every respect, the pasta is cooked perfectly (slightly al dente), the fish and meat dishes to a very high professional standard too. Their prawn pasta is very good, BUT..... I like a chilli, garlic and tomato tagliatelle that isn't on the menu... nothing is too much trouble they simply prepare it for me! (Rocco.... It's SO SO good, get it on the menu!) The atmosphere and surroundings are perfect for a quiet intimate evening with a great meal and a bottle of wine (or two)! The service (every single one of them) is top-notch and friendly too. I feel a little torn giving them such a good review because it will make the place even busier and possibly I won't get a table.... but they really deserve such high accolades. A small slice of Sardinia in Mauritius! X

I recently had an amazing dining experience at this Italian restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was excellent. The live music on weekends added a lively atmosphere, and the chef personally checked on us to ensure everything was perfect. It's the only place where we've ever left such generous tips. Highly recommended!

While visiting Mauritius, I wanted to book a table for 2, as I knew we were in walking distance to this restaurant. As I did not have access to their phone number, i booked via Google. They read my msg within 2 minutes, but never bothered to reply!!! We took our money elsewhere!!! 😡

Wow! The food was amazing, the staff were incredible and the fact that the chef came out to meet and greet all of the customers was simply above and beyond. The live music on a Saturday night from Marco just added to the experience. If you’re looking for great food and good ambiance, this is the place to go!

We had dinner here before. Food as usual, very delicious, tasty and nicely presented. This time I couldn't find anything appealing to me and I asked for gnocchi on a Tomate sauce. It was a Saturday night and they still made this special dish for me. Fantastic! The service was extraordinaire. The owners are so friendly and just want you to have a great dinner experience. There was live music, but just right, not too loud and not too overwhelming. The food is on the high end for Mauritius, but worth every cent! We definitely will go back again! First time going for dinner here and not a good experience unfortunately. Lots of items/dishes and drinks not available. We waited more than an hour for our mains to come only to have undercooked bland spaghetti scallops and prawn pasta. Service was bad and our bill was RS10 000. Will not be back for these prices and low quality. Egoistic Chef & Owner looking at the reply he sent. Tried constructive feedback but that didn't work. Goodluck keeping your business open in the coming time👌

One Sardegna’s Chef Ricco opened this amazing place and has no competitors close to him!! And literally, he is a Master of cooking! We ate there 4 dinners and we enjoyed on 110%. Good that there were 3 of us so we tried as much dishes as we could:) i even cannot name my favorite dishes because they all are perfect! We ate pasta with clams, pasta with cuttlefish ink and gigant prawns, risotto with cuttlefish ink and calamari, risotto with salsiccia (the cook does salsiccia by himself!), tortellini, ravioli, lamb (was really unbelievably delicious! the meat just fall apart from the bone, you don’t need a knife at all!!). We took a plate of seafood and some other dishes. So I honestly say- you won’t find any Italian restaurant in Mauritius better than this one. As a dessert- surely worth to try the ice- cream, homemade Italian one as it is in Italy! Love it!! Wednesdays and Saturdays an amazing jazz-man makes your dinner super romantic and joyful! They also have a typical Italian store with all the famous specialties. So it is just a small real Italian place in Mauritius which you definitely need to visit!! I am totally recommend it!
