This place is hands down the best place in Puerto Maldonado. I love the service, ambience, delicious food and the shop which supports local artisans and indigenous communities. There’s so much heart and soul that goes into every recipe, details and ingredient. I’ve travelled to many places and this place has a special place in my heart. I highly recommend this place! Did I say how delicious everything is!

We loved the place and the couple that are managing it are so warm and welcoming and fluent in English. Got hot chocolate and acai and it was great eating while watching the monkeys around .

Very very slow service, drink was very average yet high price for a latte 14 soles. Not that great for vegans. Nice green atmosphere, but seems a bit neglected with trash and stuff lying around the property. Service was friendly but seemed not very competent in vegan matters. Gluten-free and vegan are NOT the same. Not sure what’s going on there?! I went because of the great recommendations here on google but won’t come back.

Amazing hidden gem in Puerto Maldonado. The farm to table food was so filling and SO delicious. The staff were very friendly and happy to tell us about their farming and business adventures

If you are looking for healthy, delicious food this is the place to go! I had excellent plantain chips with guacamole, a budda bowl and phenomenal hot chocolate. This place is so special not only is the food excellent but they also have a neat shop with local artesian goods. A must visit in Puerto Maldonado.

Lovely staff and delicious food! We had the purple pancakes and the omelette shared between us, and both were great. Definitely give the place a go! There are cute little wild moneys around too.

We stay at the place of Darwin and Eva, also know as Cacao Center or a Airbnb stay. We must say, the stay was an amazing experience. The Hosts are so charming, carrying and welcome you perfect. The food is the best we found in the city. With a great view on the river. Look at the pictures. The place was quite huge, open and you hear and feel the jungle. The view of sunrise is so beautiful. Well we must go downstairs for shower and toilet, but for us this ok. we can fully recommend this place, it's worth it.

We had a great time here. We had excellent lunch and plenty of wonderful fruity drinks. The food and beverages are literally Michelin quality. The gentleman (I believe his name is Darwin) gave a tremendous chocolate workshop. We made chocolate from cocoa fruit we picked u from the tree. Darwin also gave us very good information about his conservation projects in the Amazon. It’s very informative and great experience.

Excellent experience! We stumbled upon this place for lunch due to the high reviews and then ended up staying for a chocolate workshop. The food is 15/10. I highly recommend the red smoothie and the barbecue. The dishes had amazing presentation and taste and are from quality local ingredients. We met the owner and spent a few hours with him during the chocolate workshop and it is clear he cares a lot about the Amazon and it’s conservation. Could not recommend this place more! A must visit for Puerto M.

A really nice place but do not assume that the staff know what vegan means - they got it confused with vegetarian and both me and my boyfriend were served food containing egg Also - we tried to go three times but two times in the evening it was shut - really frustrating - we finally got in on the third try. Please update opening hours!
