Its a very little airport with only 2 operative airlines. It has no AC and youll have to resist 33 °c normally (92 °F). You can't get lost since it has a simple entrance and simple directions if you want to go something and in-store prices may be a little higher than in the city (water, chocolates, etc)

0 stars. Not nearly enough seating. The staff will also take your things if they like them. They will say they are not allowed yet every other airport in Peru allowed me to bring the pestal and mortar purchased as a souvenir. Since it belonged to me as I was the one who purchased it I felt inclined to trash it if I was not going to be able to bring it with me. Yet they had some dumb excuse that it had to be put away in a special place where all the other things that have been confiscated go. More like the staff wanted to steal it and claim it as their own.

Small airport there are only a few seats and if there are 2 subsequent flight it gets very crowded. Luckly, after checkin inside is cool with air conditioner. There is a small shop for food&drinks and another small coffee shop.

Small, cute airport, but surprisingly modern!

Airport for Puerto Maldonado. Mostly flights to/from Lima. Small, but all facilities present. No air conditioning, which is a drag at 95 degrees. Just on outskirts of town, and about 15 minutes by car to centre.

There's literally nothing here. No water, no food and no climate.

While the airport itself is nice and even has a lounge, the security loans are atrocious and so slow.

Tiny airport, easy to enter and exit.

This is a very small airport, with very little to offer the travellers that pass through. In arrivals, there are just two conveyer belts for retrieving luggage in one room with two sets of toilets each for men and women. There's nothing between these and the exit. The departure zone is a little bigger and offers a little more. There are a few Latam check-in desks with two automatic label printers, which didn't seem to work for my group. There's just one small place to buy food and drinks on this side of security. After passing through security, there are a few more places to buy food and drink and a reasonable range of products can be purchased for reasonable prices. There are just two departure gates and not quite enough seats for all the people passing through - some people were sitting on the floor when I was there. Overall, it seems to be functional and works well with no delays, despite its small size.

Not sure what good it does to rate an airport - if you're going to Puerto Maldonado, you need to go through here. But it's a rough time... It's very small, and only a few flights a day come and go, so there is minimal staffing. Clueless tourists make it worse by not realizing you're supposed to do self bag-check at the machines, and instead jump in the long line. Then that long line, already moving slowly with few staff, goes even slower as they must do manual check-ins. This area is not air conditioned, and very hot. If possible, don't check your bag - Latam issues electronic boarding passes to your phone 48 hours before the flight, so you can skip this mess. Once you're checked in and through security, there is air conditioning, but only about half the seating they need. Nice handmade pizza and craft beer at the small restaurant at the gates, though.

It's a very tiny airport. They don't have air-conditioning at the arrival lounge but fortunately have one at the departure lounge. Bathrooms are suprisingly very clean. Buying water is expensive hlf a liter wouldcost 6 pen

Terrifying experience! Avoid at all costs! Almost missed a plane because they pulled me out of line for a battery pack in my CARRY-ON!

Absolutely terrible experience. They will send you in circles until you almost miss your plane. Avoid this place at all costs! Very undereducated and not trained to do their jobs.
