The best hotel in the area! I was there in May visiting the beautiful city of Puerto Maldonado and I stayed at Wasai for two weeks! My experience was great there. There are beautiful spots to watch the river and the bridge. Highly recommended.

This rating is based off of a tour package we purchased that included meals and some tours, not just staying at the hotel itself. As a package I give them 5 stars. They meet us at the airport and picked us up. Then took great care of us. The tours were great and the food was amazing. Five stars meals breakfast lunch and dinner.

Hotel with a good position in the city, the location and the pool are good. The staff helpful to find taxi ecc. About the room, don't take the basic room, it has mold and there is a noise of the pomp of the pool until 21h. When we saw the room we ask if we could change in a standard room paying the difference, the staff told us we had to pay a penalty to change the room. The hotel doesn’t have hairdryers, it has hot shower.

Truly magical stay. The paths and the wildlife so close by were amazing but the swimming pool and tiki bar were the highlights. The rooms were tidy and cleaned daily. Reception staff were friendly and helpful and the attached restaurant did some really good food and cocktails.

Mostly good experience in superior room except for noise from next door police. Really hate the practice of checking rooms after you stay. I think it is because most people pay in cash and maybe they have people steal towels. Lovely garden. Overpriced cafe.

Loved this place! Ideal location right on the river with boats into the Amazon experiences, food was really good, comfortable rooms, friendly & helpful staff, nice pool and.saw Sloaths everyday in their trees!

Perfect location with a great view of the river and bridge, there's a nice bar at the pool and you can order snacks from the hotel restaurant.

We are very happy that we chose Wasai lodge. Beside the beautiful view from our room, we had an ultimate cocktail experience at the Bamboo bar (thank you Jean Paul for providing us beside the best cocktails also a lot of information about the Peruvian culture). Before booking the place, we looked around and definitely this one felt right. Exceeded expectations!

The restaurant has very poor vegetarian options and are not ready to do any changes to items in menu which makes it impossible for vegetarians with food allergy to dine here. The rooms have no windows, cold air blows at you. They charged us 50% more for checkout at 3pm, which was a lot. The location was nice, and beautiful plants all around.

At check out, one of the staff quickly ran to our room and asked our guide and a bus of 10 people to wait until he could check our room. He came back with a towel and showed us blue stains that he said haven’t been there before. He said he had already asked the laundry service if they could remove them and they thought it was not possible and we would have to pay a fine. Since 10 people had to wait for us, we paid. No words for such a behaviour.

The hotel is amazing. It's a beautiful place but the staff is the best part they are very helpful with everything

A very nice hotel by the river bank with lots of small roads inside hosting a whole botanical garden, our room was on the 2nd floor with a amazing view, the value for money is great. The staff was very helpful and kind. I totally recommend this place if you stay at Puerto Maldonado.

Tour agency is rated 5 stars their Tambopaxi lodge is exceptional. Hotel needs to fix the following 1. Provide curtains that cover all the windows 2. When taxis are booked, call the taxi company 3. Include breakfast in the room rate, only hotel we stayed in in 5 Peruvian cities that had a restaurant and did not include breakfast. It is the best located site in town, a real redevelopment opportunity.

We arrived in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of the jungle, we discovered a spectacular place. Looks like a small paradise. we spent for five days with a team that showed and explained the most professional manner on each region, The food was very high standard and served in a stimulating and interesting, Staff courteous and friendly place.
