😐 If it's for a relaxing stay the lodge is nice the food is good it's a change of scenery, the rooms are simple but ok so it's ok. On the other hand, if you are hoping to go on a photo safari, move on, it's a tourist box. Already because of a plane delay we arrive at 3:40 p.m. for an excursion schedul... People often mention nice, guide, great, good,

If it's for a relaxing stay the lodge is nice the food is good it's a change of scenery, the rooms are simple but ok so it's ok. On the other hand, if you are hoping to go on a photo safari, move on, it's a tourist box. Already because of a plane delay we arrive at 3:40 p.m. for an excursion scheduled for 3:30 p.m. it will be purely and simply canceled Then the brochure promised us the monkey island we will not see it... it seems that it There is only one species of monkey that has become aggressive and capable of causing rabies. Then the brochure boasted of climbing a 42 m belvedere to see the birds in the canopy. In reality we will only see three unfortunate specimens perched at least 150 m from us. Then the brochure dangled the clay meal of multicolored parrots. We did see parrots eating the clay but the multicolored ones did not exist according to the guide in this area of the Amazon; they were all green and small. Finally to recover from all that... we were literally sent at 9:30 in the morning by boat to Porto Maldonado while we had the plane at 5:40 p.m. leaving us to our own devices in this city in very hot weather. Our third day went like this!!!! So yes 3 stars compared to what I experienced in Costa Rica or Africa and it's still well paid

Extremely beautiful place to spend a few days in Amazonia. Very nice bungalows with private bathrooms and comfortable beds with protective mosquito nets, great and tasty food at the restaurant and very nice walks into the jungle and to the nearby lake. Don't miss the evening caiman safari! Very informative guides. Very welcoming swimming pool with fresh water and a nice park where to spend your time while not doing any activities. Note that the electricity works only during certain hours. Two stars minus due to the extreme inflexibility of the management for those who have a very late plane from Puerto Maldonado. You are not allowed to stay at Corto Maltes after the check out time. You are literally "thrown out" without any compassion, with the explanation that there are no later boats to take you to the town. The feeling that we had was that once what you paid for was over, you're not welcome there anymore.

Nice place simple and clean lodge, private bathroom ,comfortable beds with mosquito nets protection. The food is good but limited, the bar is excellent the barman (Max) is very prepared. Excellent excursion in the national reserve Tambopata ,highly recommend the guide Moises, for sure the best staff.Unfortunately beyond this there is little to do is a location that serves more to relax than to have fun.The electricity works in alternating phases during the day ,10 pm goes away (we are still in the Amazon). One negative note goes to the guy who drives the boat, 150 centimeters of rudeness.

Beautiful lodge. The excursions were very interesting and a lot of fun. Rolando is a great guide and we felt very comfortable with him. Unfortunately, as a vegetarian or vegan you have to make a few compromises when it comes to eating.

Not only this place is breathtaking with bungalows that send you to heaven, but the people working there are also very friendly and nice. Always trying to please you and trying to learn your language if you don't know it. The food is good, and the server was very friendly. I will always remember his smile! Our guide (Jesus) was also great, we recommend.

Very nice Amazon organization and trips! As greenhorns in the Amazon, we were welcomed kindly and with great passion by guide Moises. Partly because of his humor, passion and expertise, we had an unforgettable adventure. Corto Maltés is a luxury resort with all facilities available!

Spectacular logde in the middle of the jungle. Everything very well conditioned, clean and very good meals. Special mention for our guide Beto who made us participate in his passion for nature. A place to disconnect and appreciate and care for what surrounds us. 100% recommended
