My wife and I have sadly just come home from the most wonderful weekend. The suite was warm, relaxing and homely, yet elegantly appointed, complete with fireplace. The facilities and location were absolutely divine. And that view… Oh My Goodness! Words cannot truly do it justice. The hosts were just the right amount of warm, friendly and hospitable without being intrusive. The breakfast was completely over the top delicious. The infra-red sauna and hot tub with a view were perfect. And you must book in the massage. An hour and a half of the best, most relaxing massage I’ve ever had. Thank you for literally ticking every box for a perfect weekend away. We will definitely be back!!

My wife and I had a wonderful weekend getaway at this gorgeous retreat. Hosts were most welcoming and the room in which we stayed we couldn't fault. We also had use of the hot tub and the infra-red sauna which were included in the price which we thoroughly enjoyed. The package also included a delicious breakfast each morning. The grounds included a health spa and another 5 units at the time of our stay, along with an amazing view across the valley. Lowry and Judy (the owners/hosts) have done a great job in the renovation/rejuvenation of this estate, and we can highly recommend anyone to give this a try - you will not regret it.

Verandah House is just perfection on the mountain. The property has the most breathtaking views over the hinterland valley and the Gold Coast ... no photos do it justice! The day spa with Fiona was exceptional and the cedar hot tub and fire pit overlooking the view at sunset was just magical. The rooms are luxuriously appointed and with everything you could possibly need during your stay, including your own fireplace. Judy and Lawrie are the most genuine and wonderful hosts ... and we just loved getting to know them over breakfast in the beautiful barn each morning. We regret not staying longer but cannot wait to come back.

Went for a two night getaway for our anniversary and wasn’t disappointed. The views from the property are sensational! The team are super attentive and the suites were well equipped and super comfy with their amenities. We will definitely be back!

This has to be one of the best places to stay in Queensland! From the moment you book, you can rest assured everything will be taken care of. Judy and Lawry are two of the nicest people you will meet (the owners of the beautiful Verandah Country Estate) and they do everything possible to ensure you have an amazing stay. Your stay begins by driving through lovely country style gates accompanied by stunning gardens and you can see the Verandah house and front of some of the suites. From here you are greeted and shown to your suite. Judy and Lawrence have done an exceptional job designing these beautiful rooms, where you can feel relaxed and fresh. Breakfasts are something from heaven (see photos online) and you’ll find it hard to go back to cereal! The views are unobstructed and they have a hot tub to sit in and watch the sunset/sunrise. There is a communal fire pit (extra to the ones in the rooms) which you can use and toast marshmallows (included in the kitchen). The gardens are immaculate, and you’ll feel completely away from everything if you stay here. We can’t recommend Verandah country estate enough, and we will return + recommend it and Judy/Lawrence to all of our friends. All the extra personal touches you could ever want from a relaxing stay will be met here, you feel as though you’re part of their family as they’re always there to help, but never in the way and you’ll have complete privacy. Cancel that boring standard accomodation you’ve booked and try Verandah Country Estates, promise you won’t regret it!

The most relaxing, beautifully designed and kept getaway you could imagine. We used the hot tub with a view down to the coast and devoured delicious breakfasts. Our hosts were very attentive and we were only a short drive from hikes, wineries and restaurants.

Spent the most amazing weekend at Verandah House Country Estate. Every aspect of our stay was incredible. The long lunch set under the beautiful blue sky was a perfect spot to celebrate a special birthday with family and friends. Lawrence and Judy are the ultimate hosts, they have thought of everything, and we can't wait to come back and experience this slice of paradise again!

We had an awesome 2 night mid week stay at Verandah House. It was great to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the ambience and breathtaking views of Mt. Tamborine. We were greeted on arrival by Judy and Laurence who are both very caring and delightful hosts. Verandah House has sweeping lawns and beautiful gardens. It is certainly a place where you can switch off and recharge. The guests have the use of a sparkling pool and a hot tub which overlooks magnificent scenery. Our accommodation was superbly decorated by the multi talented Judy. Thank you Laurence and Judy for a truly wonderful stay and John and I are looking forward to our next visit.

From the moment you slowly drive down the long driveway admiring the country style gardens and stunning white country home, stepping out of the car to pure country serenity, hearing nothing but the buzzing bees on the soft lavender guiding you to the wrap around verandah, whilst being charmed by the sound rainforest birds in the near distance. Greeted by attentive boutique staff guiding you to their impressive suite, your eyes will be instantly engulfed by pure beauty as the Veranda House Country Estate boasts a home of pure sophistication and class down to every tiny detail, finish and texture tantalising any designer's dream. From that very moment, you are welcomed into the suite; your senses are lifted by the aroma of beautiful fresh cut timber lightly burning in the slow combustion fire, the scent of freshly pressed linen touched with light geranium oil. The terrace suite presented as if you were looking straight at a luxury country magazine styled photo shoot, offering stunning large hardwood flooring, travertine bathroom tiles with soft light duck feather filled linen furniture, elegant decor complementing the room and finishings The giant king sized bed was far beyond my expectations, dressed in soft white linen and styled with buttery soft throws finished with giant scrumptious feather filled pillows. The terrace suite included a perfect size fridge for a cheese platter and drinks. Alongside a basket provided with complementary treats to enjoy, with access to picnic baskets, throw rugs, cheese boards, etc., perfect for a few drinks and nibbles overlooking the breathtaking views this magnificent property has to offer. Without a doubt, this estate is none of the less one of the most sought-after properties that is in immaculate condition; the hard working owners are tirelessly working away every moment, assuring that it is looking its very best for your stay. The estate owners & staff, were extremely attentive to our every need, lighting the fire and ensuring we were warm, yet in such a private manor, preserving the relaxed moments admiring the views. While on our stay, we took full advantage of the cedar hot tub overlooking the mountains and the infrared sauna inside the stunning day spa. This was by far the most relaxing part, overlooking the cotton candy skies and sparkling lights off in the distance from the gold coast. The veranda house country estate serves breakfast in their impeccable Ralph Lauren styled barn, With beautiful cheaster leather lounges, warm crackling fire and darker finishes. The breakfast boasts fresh fruits, yogurts with hand picked passionfruit, French pastry’s and a light home cooked warm breakfast alongside cafe styled coffee and natural juice. This property was the perfect getaway and a soul recharge we needed. We cannot wait to return and enjoy this beautiful piece of the world again soon.

The most wonderful stay at Verandah House Country Estate! We were recommended to stay here by our friends, and we are so grateful to them for finding this place! Judy and Laurence have done an exceptional job with Verandah- every little detail is well planned and executed. The view is just spectacular (very grateful Judy and Laurence decided to share it with the world!) - especially sunrise and sunset from the hot tub. The breakfast was so delicious, lots of cute birdies everywhere, and we were often blessed by the presence of Lola (Judy and Laurences gorgeous dog). Judy and Laurence are the most wonderful, kind hearted hosts- it was so lovely to chat with them during our stay. They made us feel very welcome and at home throughout. We are already looking forward to our next stay at Verandah and to share the experience with our family and friends- highly recommend!

Judy and Lawrence are incredible hosts! It is actually impossible to describe how beautiful this location is. Every time we walk out to see the views - it takes my breath away. Goosebumps and tears are guaranteed. The rooms are absolutely incredible, designed to perfection. Breakfast pastries like we have never ever tasted before. So fresh, delicious and beautiful! We are excited to have our wedding here next year and will be visiting as often as possible to come and recharge our batteries So grateful to have found a little slice of heaven on this planet.

I want to say what an excellent three days I had at Verandah House. I could go on and on about the attention to detail in the room fit-out, the grounds, and the barn. My partner and I visited Verandah House Country Estate in November and had the most amazing visit. The views are just breath-taking and the staff are so lovely. One of the highlights of our stay was the morning breakfast, locally-sourced, fresh and plentiful enjoyed on a picnic rug overlooking the mountain range. The owners had plenty of recommendations for dinner and surrounding activities and we will definitely be going back!
