Incredibly disappointed when my family and I went for a light lunch in the food area on the lower level. The stark difference between the immaculate showrooms and the area where food is, was rather shocking. It is quite certain that a health inspector would raise serious concerns here. I asked one of the personnel to let a supervisor or manager know and was simply told that she doesn't know who to speak to and carried on with no further attempts to correct the situation.

I have not stepped foot in an IKEA since I was probably ten, and I have clearly been missing out. What an experience. I never realised the sheer expanse of items and storage that it offered! I spent over £60 within a blink of the eye. Will definitely be coming back for more, could easily spend all day here.

A really good place, and should merit at least one more star, but the hassle of walking through the maze, finding the bits in their warehouse, and then getting all the way back to the car park all adds to the overall time, hence one star lost. The other thing I did not like was that to actually buy something you have to get an assistant to enter it all into a computer for you. Although to be honest it was at that point that I realised that the cabinet could be totally customised to your preference. Amazing! Other than that, a really good place to get furniture, kitchenware, bedroom furniture etc etc and other stuff. I also felt it was a little pricey. Not the IKEA of old at all. However, recommended and would go again.

Love IKEA But lately its getting really pricey. I like looking in the bargain corner. Got a lovely cream rug yesterday for £11. Also dark grey one for £55.

Wandering through the trademark IKEA labyrinth of beds and bookshelves is a great inspiration for anyone looking for new furniture or home improvements. Checkout was a bit of a hassle though as my payment method (contactless via phone) was shown as "Not Supported"... despite the fact that the checkout show an image of someone paying with their phone.

Wonderful store, has pretty much everything you need, there is a discount section at the left just before the checkouts always have a look sometimes there is something to replace an item you have already picked up! And they have a mini food counter on the other side of the checkouts to get meatballs or hotdogs, a quick coffee or ice cream for the kids in case you worked up an appetite walking round... sometimes we spend 3 hours and since the restraint is at the start we do usually get a snack on the way out too! :)

I had a meal for £3 with IKEA family card. Really good for £3. Tea and coffee are free with IKEA Family card.

The location is out of the way in Ashton so it’s literally a journey from Manchester/Salford. With that being said, combined with the overwhelming set up that feels like a maze, it is worth planning ahead and avoiding the rush hour/weekends as you could easily spend hours there. Thankfully, there’s a restaurant on site with a cheap deli at the entrance where you can replenish and energise yourself. At the end of the day, home delivery starts from £4 for small items and £40 for larger items which is honestly less stressful if you’re not looking for bargains from ex-showroom displays.

The best place ever for interior design ideas, and cool and affordable home décor and furniture. A proper day out as there’re a nice coffee shop and restaurant inside too.

I had a fantastic experience at IKEA ! The store is incredibly well-organized, and the staff was exceptionally helpful. I loved the wide selection of stylish furniture and home decor. It's a one-stop shop for all your home needs. Plus, the Swedish meatballs in the cafeteria are a must-try – delicious! I'll definitely be back for my future home furnishing needs.

Amazing place for the whole family grab some food in the restaurant starting with meatballs and chips that are one of a kind. Through the maze of awesome products and in the end at the warehouse if you and your kids want to misbehave you can ride on top of the flatbed trolleys. In conclusion IKEA Manchester is the place to be for shopping and a way to have a nice day out.

Quite disappointing, they are not keeping up the normal standards of cleanliness and options of a normal IKEA store, the toilets were filthy, going back to them a few hours later and noting that a staff member had signed that they had inspected them they were still so, and several parts of the store had not been faced up or organised correctly, the soda fountain in the entry area was not functional so that you weren’t able to order the “soda and hotdog deal” and in the restaurant there was only one cashier, creating a very long line and wait for service. On check out, there were only 2 staff members @checkout and no self checkout option. Meaning the wait was around 15 minutes to check out. I generally love IKEA, but the experience in this store was poor.

IKEA is a huge place where wonders happen. Loved the vibes, chill and comfortable walking along the guided route from showroom 1 to 28. Got everything we need, enjoyed shopping and seeing things around, spent 2 hours here, was a bit rush at the end of the trip, should have spent more time here if I have imagined to stay at IKEA for longer on the itinerary.

I absolutely love it ! It is huge of course as all IKEA stores, we had a great shopping experience , got few discounts bits from their supermarket section like cookies and chips and turned out to be really good . I also shopped some accessories from their home section as they have lots of great accessories that I didn’t know I needed! We had a nice dinning experience too! The food was so good at their restaurant and as always very much affordable! Clean and organized.

Went for the food cheap and cheerful, and the sweet and strong mustard is the best 👌 This breakfast only cost me £3.40 😎

Great home store with some excellent display of furniture's. Rooms are created to boost decorating idea for any room. Easy to navigate the store and very well planned. Only downside is food court. Most of the soft furnishing is torn out which you least expect in home store and a bit messy. Not thoroughly cleaned, it provides budget friendly food and caters vagetarian and vegan friendly foods.

Layout better this time and easier to find what you want. Will order off line and get delivery. Not as many arrows on the floor, me kept thinking have I been here already, no hope.

Purchased chair covers for some stools we’ve had for years. Not until I bought new covers and read the reviews, did I realize IKEA have changed the stool design and the covers no longer fit my old style stools. I got out my sewing machine and took some material from the top and some from the middle. I’m not a machinist but I thought I’ll have a go. They now fit a treat.

Called in to pick up a set of chester draws for the back bedroom. I haven't been here for years I enjoyed walking around looking at all the different items. I made my way to the ground floor to pick my goods up from the location stated. I loaded my trolley and made my way to the till. Will definitely be coming back

  • 4/5 Julia K. 1 year ago on Google
This was only a quick visit (if there is such a thing at IKEA!) . I used the IKEA app so as not to have to queue at the till with the one small item I had....however there were people with trolleys full using the app checkouts who hadn't actually scanned anything before they got there. IKEA need to ensure that this till is kept clear for the people who do actually use the app so as to avoid the long queues. Maybe advertise the app a bit more strongly and customers will have a better idea of what to do?

Always a nice place to shop, just ready your money 😂😂😂 Huge ikea with lots of parking spaces and not crowded on Saturday as well surprisingly?

Feel like they’ve upped their game on a lot of stuff you can buy. However this store in particular feels more complicated as a lot of stuff they have to find in the back for you. I’ve waited quite a while at times.

It's 5 stars from me, love how the rooms are set out to give ideas. Fantastic range of products at great prices, also, things you didn't know you need until you see them . Cafe, toilets, lots of free parking. It's a day out.
