Firstly,
I'd
like
to
emphasise
that
the
Film
we
went
to
watch
was
in
what
they
call
a
'4DX
3D'
experience.
It's
a
fairly
modern
affair
-
(as
far
as
I'm
aware)
it's
where
the
seats
move/shake/vibrate,
you
get
mist
blown
in
your
face
and
smoke/steam
effects,
as
well
as
complete
surround
sound.
In
some
aspects,
similar
to
an
amusement
park
ride.
A
visit
to
the
Cinema
is
a
luxury
in
this
present
day.
I
know
there's
a
'cost
of
living
crisis'
going
on
at
the
time
of
writing
this
and
to
go
and
pay
Β£18:50
(roughly)
each
to
watch
a
film
is
quite
a
pricey
affair.
You're
talking
roughly
Β£37:00
just
to
watch
the
film
(that's
two
adults).
A
bag
of
'pick
and
mix'
sweets
each
Β£14:00,
two
coffees
Β£7:00
and
some
poorly
presented
Nachos
&
Cheese
Β£6:00.
In
total,
a
sum
of
roughly
Β£64/65:00?
I
know
you
don't
have
to
buy
the
refreshments
but
as
humans
and
from
those
who've
been
lucky
enough
to
have
enjoyed
a
Cinema
visit
since
childhood,
or
during
their
lifetime
in
general
-
the
refreshments
are
a
part
of
the
experience
and
so
become
a
portion
of
the
cost
of
that
experience.
Maybe
it's
because
I'm
ancient
and
I'm
just
having
a
moan
but
I'd
say
that
part
(the
cost)
of
the
said
'experience'
is
my
big
gripe....
π¬π
The
4DX-3D
experience
was
great
fun
though
-
a
new
thing
to
us
(and
a
fair
few
more
in
the
audience
too
by
the
sound
of
it)
and
thouroughly
enjoyable.
The
live
effects
did
throw
you
around
a
bit
more
than
expected,
so
had
to
put
the
Nachos
&
Cheese
Sauce
down
-
otherwise
we'd
have
ended
up
wearing
them
lol.
My
Pick
&
Mix
ended
up
all
over
the
place
too.
We
did
enjoy
it
over
all
and
asked
if
I'd
go
again,,,,
I'd
definitely
say
yes
but
without
the
refreshments.
Another
thing
I
observed
was
the
seats
weren't
half
as
comfortable
as
traditional
Cinema
seats
and
for
a
three
hour
plus
film
was
quite
uncomfortable.
I
think
I've
covered
what
I
needed
to.
I'll
give
a
more
accurate
review
after
a
second
visit..
