Very very poor advice. As a new fishkeeper I was sold barbs and tetras as coldwater fish. Once they started dying I did some research to find that they are tropical, temperate at best. 13 lives lost unnecessarily, not to mention my money literally flushed down the toilet. I was also told by this store that leopard and zebra danios can not live together due to agression. Wrong again. They have fish in the tanks who manage to get into the filtration system and it's very upsetting to see. There's no set section for tropical and coldwater fish, just blue dots on the labels which often don't correspond with the fish in the tank, or have worn off making it hard to select the correct fish. They're also very understaffed. I wouldn't recommend.

The aquatics centre is one of the best i visited simply because it is open space. Does not feel overwhelming and you get the chance to look around at all the fishies. Maidenhead aquatics have hundreds of salt water and fresh water fish. The pond supply shop has large open pool full with huge pond fish. It will be open throughout the lockdown so no worries about aquarium and pond supplies.

Absolutely love this place great selection of fish both marine and tropical would highly recommend love this tank looks really well for a fab price too!!

Used to love this store and staff but sadly staff have all recently changed and they have pushed incorrect and bad knowledge a few times to me .... I just nod and agree not worth the argument

Amazing places to come for all your aquarium needs. The staff are friendly and really helpful. They have a great knowledge and help with anything. There are loads of varieties of fish, plants, aquariums and all the rest you may need.

It was a very lovely place to visit, lots of parking which is always good as Xmas gets closer. Great selection of shrubs bushes trees and various plants. Lovely cafe for a lovely coffee and various nibbles x

This is a great place for all pond and aquarium supplies. I've come here for a few years and the koi I've had are thriving, and there's plenty of bit and bobs to use on my pond as I tinker and update it

Bit expensive for certain fish but lots of variety compared to other places. Their tank and Viv selection is great and they're not too expensive. Better than Pets at Home that's for sure.

Great little fish shop. The staff are friendly and helpful. A good selection of fish are available and you can feed the carp. Great for a walk round

Helpful staff but wouldn’t let me buy the fish I wanted because of my tank, even though my tank is over 500 Litres. Like just let me buy the dam fish.

I have been to shop few times choose my fish today the shop person refused to get me the fish's of my choice he was refusing I just be able to choose my pet I wasn't happy with the person at all

Had a great experience today purchasing some fish for our new fish tank. The staff could not be more helpful, talking us through the process from start to finish, and allowing the kids to be involved was great. We now have a lovely tank, which we are all very proud of.

See if you want a big massive fish ? Go here because they have loads of them in a tank , plenty of them definitely a big recommendation for lovers of the fish.

I've bought several fish from here - had an issue with one electric blue ram dieing shortly after - provided proof and water and they replaced no problem. New rams are healthy and happy 🎉

I spent £700 on supplies all the fish died within 12hrs I was told it was my water non of my fish died and it was tested they then charged me £40 for tubs for water promised to return deposit and after spending £50 in taxis they said they did not rent them only one how I filled a 200 litre tank with one tub must be Magic of and the marine set up has white spot do not shop here go to the abyss in stockport much better staff

Not happy at all. I ordered 3 Trapas Natans plants after seeing the pictures of a lovely leafy floating plant that would be ideal to shade my pond to help with the algae problem it has. When the 'plants' finally arrived today they weren't plants at all but just the nuts! They will take ages to grow, (if they grow at all as they don't look too healthy) and in the meantime I'm stuck with my algae problem! I tried to post a picture on here but it won't let me. Don't order these unless you just want nuts, the advertising is very misleading!

So bad when I went one worker grabbed a fishes tall and snipped it off with scissors because it whacked the food with its tail😢😢😭😭😭

I've spent well over £500 in this shop over the last 4 months as they have a good variety of fish to choose from. Every time I've visited the store the same staff just act like they never seen you before which I find to be very rude and lacking in basic customer service skills. They never ask you any questions of how you getting on, they have no interest other than doing the basics and sending you on your way as fast as they can.

Fantastic aquarium with incredible, knowledgeable staff. Feeding the koi is a real treat for kids.

Didn't have what I was looking for, I was either too late or too early, maybe both. got some seeds for next year, staff helpfully advised when to come back for that for which I originally came. Decent size garden centre, stock maintained, healthy specimens. Will call in again.

A great place to visit within the Garden Centre. Has all your needed taken care of. You can also feed some of the fish whilst you are there. Plenty of parking on site.
