Discriminating against people with tattoos on their face. Does that mean I’m a bad person? Should I not be allowed entrance for a tattoo? That is automatically assuming I’m not decent enough to enter. Very sad and disappointing. Do better.

Tampamazing local bar with prices that can't be beat. The scratch made food you get here for prices from the 80's are super easy on your wallet. Shannon at the bar had a great eye for empty beers and kept us well hydrated for the entire stay. Happy hour starts at 11am and lasts till 8. Karaoke on the weekends is fun and they have touchtunes to fill in the blanks. The small investment $$ you put in here will pay off handsomely.

Karaoke was fun, surprisingly extensive menu. Attentive staff and $2.50 Yuengling made for a good time.

This is one of my favorite Karaoke spots! The crowd is usually a good mix of different ages! I recently tried the food the last couple of times that I was there and I must say I'm really impressed! This bar is what I would consider a "dive bar", so I wasn't expecting the food to be great. I had the lamb chops which were seasoned great and cooked just right! My partner had the churassco and enjoyed it too. Everything is served on disposable plates just as an FYI.

Great time the only draw back was the DJ's hype man in the dreads. Kept trying to start fights with people in the crowd. Announced on the Mic that he would knock people out. Made rude comments to other people around us. Later they got into a confrontation with another group. Great time minus that guy. Why does a karaoke need a hype man? This place is great but will guaranteed get sued and shut down because a couple of bad apples. Another employee a women stood up in the bar and threw a drink hit the security by accident. Unnessarcy and only escalated the situation. The crowd is 40+ not a rough crowd. Employees were the problem. Again, great place but needs to be more professional and fire the couple of bad apples. Bartender was Aces works like a beast. 2 stars just becaue of the mismanagement of employees. 5 stars if not for the two bad apples.

It's a local dive bar and it's awesome. Go in with that mindset. Good bar food, standard drinks, EXCEPTIONAL atmosphere for what it is. Service is absolutely top notch. Drinks are cheap, too. Not the place to go if you're trying to do something for IG. Absolutely the place to be if you want to just hang out with laid back locals and awesome staff. Highly recommend for what it is - a local classic.

Place was actually entertaining and had a good vibe I was suprised honestly. Just wish the karaoke lady wasn't 60 and trying to dictate how young people should act as she seemed to always want the center of attention. But your 60. No need to use seniority to be rude to people trying to have fun. Other than that everyone is friendly. Drinks are great. Next time I'm gonna try some food.

I love to have fun at Pete's Place! Specially on Shawn Brown's Music Jam on Tuesday's nights. They have new menu and visual concept and it's working great! They have special events every day of the week and personally I consider it as a good option for a night out.

It's an interesting mix of people. The staff is always super nice and attentive. They do Karaoke most nights I believe.

Pete’s is one of the best spots in the area. Live music, karaoke, trivia, game nights, the full package, with great prices. Sammie is my favorite person in the entire world, and she slings some great cocktails. Go get some!

Went for the karaoke and it was amazing! Loved how the KJ moved fast and we all got to sing twice . Just wish it started a little earlier :( like 7 or 8. Edit this place no longer serves food but they aren't able to edit Google to reflect that

Sam is a very genuine, respectable employee. Connected with me and my wife on personal level. She was attentive and answered all the questions we had. Made great suggestions. Will definitely be back!

The only 7 days/wk karaoke establishment in S. Tampa. Has 2 pool tables in a front annex off the main bar. Small place; an oval bar in the center of the room, and a few high-top tables surrounding it with a dancing area in front of the microphone stand. There are a couple of flat screens mounted high on the walls, and the karaoke DJ has a marquee loop of the que numbered in the order of who's next; although I witnessed favoritism and deviations from the numbered list on the night I visited and a regular confirmed that it is standard practice. I was also unable to get the drink I wanted due to the bar's lack of supplies. It was very busy starting around 1030 pm, with a few people dancing along with the singers and 2 couples shooting pool. The pool table area seems to get minimal traffic despite the table and cues being in good condition. The only downfall to this area is minimal seating, and seating in the main bar area does not provide adequate viewing of the table area. Conversely, those who are shooting stick do have a vantage point of the bar and karaoke singer, with audio speakers delivering the experience throughout the space.

Best karaoke around. Super super fun with a great sound system. The only drawback is they let people sing more than once whennother people are waiting

I have been to this bar multiple times. The bar staff is great, the crowd is great, and everyone is very friendly. However, my friends and I have been to this bar multiple times and have constantly watched ourselves going BACKWARDS in line for karaoke. I have been to many karaoke bars and have never experienced this kind of service before. Extremely unprofessional. Waiting HOURS and watching yourself only move 5 places forward ruins your evening. I have given this bar too many chances and will never return..

I wish you would consider moving your karaoke time to 7:00 on at least Sundays. They don't really cater to the older crowd who day drink and like to sing karaoke. They don't seem to serve food anymore or at least not good food. If you don't like crowds of people, then don't come here on a Friday or Saturday for sure, because not only is it uncomfortable, but good luck getting a drink. You could be standing there for about half an hour before you get one

The Greeks food truck at Pete's has the best Gyro lamb or chicken I have ever tried 👍👍💯💯

The Greeks food truck has the BEST food, could not recommend enough. My favorite is the red pepper hummus and gyros. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and I just love how perfectly seasoned the food is. It’s also nice to support a family owned business, especially when the people are so nice and personable!

Thee BEST karaoke bar in town! Karaoke is Thursdays/ Sundays. The bar is a dive bar and everyone is so friendly! On the weekends, the bar is the busiest and hard to sing karaoke! I’ve been going to Pete’s since 2013 and love everything about the bar! It’s the best! The bartenders are the best! The DJ’s are the best and management is THEE best! Come out and experience what I’ve experienced for the last 10 years! You’ll thank me later!

Very fun place. I was in from out of town -- told my Uber driver to take me to a low-key, chill place to have a drink. He selected this place. Good choice. It was quite lively but not to the point that I found it annoying. I went on a night they were doing karaoke, which was quite a treat. I sipped a drink and listened to people sing -- "Dancing Queen" "Don't Stop Believin'" "Wanna Be Startin' Something," etc. I recommend this place if you're up for a lively but not overwhelming, obnoxious, or immature atmosphere. I got a drink and later a water very easily. Pleasant service from the bartenders.
