Good ol' Melting Pot Social delivered its signature experience, much like its counterparts in other locations. I guess I had hoped for a unique twist here in Tampa, but it remained consistent with what I've come to expect. Despite the bustling crowd, we managed to secure seats at the bar. Our bartender was fun, keeping the atmosphere light and enjoyable. Now, onto the food – while the dishes in the melt section typically come with dipping sauces, it's essential that the food itself carries some seasoning. Unfortunately, our veggies arrived rather plain, lacking the desired seasoning, and we had to resort to adding some salt and pepper. It feels like they shouldn't solely rely on the dipping sauces to bring out the flavors. For me, it might not be a spot I return to, but I can see how others might enjoy it. Here's a quick rundown of our order: The Monetary: Essentially basic veggies and dip. Sweet Spiced Sticky Ribs: A definite winner, very yummy! Miso Crunch Salmon: Not a bad choice, but there's room for improvement.

The food was outstanding but if it were not for the knowledge and friendliness of our Server, Nathan, I don’t know if my choices would have been as good. He is hilarious, please clone him!!!

I've been a server for over a decade. My wife use to serve and bartend. We are tough to please because we truly understand what makes a great restaurant great. I know exactly how fast it takes to make cocktails, how long it takes to prep the food you all eat. The hostess was so sweet when we came in, she asked if we had been there before, and walked us through her favorites on the menu. Which was a nice touch. Then Tuesday was our server. So nice, not fake nice. Genuinely a kind person who enjoys what she does. We picked out our stuff, and the stuff we ordered came out crazy fast. Sometimes when food comes out fast I'm either impressed or worried, they either got a good kitchen or a good microwave and food is sitting around in warmers all day till it's needed. No I was legit impressed because I could tell this was fresh, a smooth kitchen that works well together. I ordered the "very berry waffles" and it was amazing. The berries looked huge and fresh. Plate presentation was great. This was the moment I knew Tuesday was a top tier server. They had a caramel you could get for those waffles that she highly recommended. I'm like cool I'll try it. It was amazing and complimented the berries and waffle so well. Why is this a big deal? Well when you go out to eat servers build a menu with a good chef. The chef can't watch us eat. So the chef makes the menu, a great server fills in the gaps and gives feedback to strengthen a menu and helps tailor an item to a person's taste. " oh you're worried this dish might be too spicy. Well I had some regulars come in and we swapped this sauce out for that, they loved it. Do you think that would interest you? " That's an example of a great server. The ability to give people options they didn't know they had, and anticipate someone's needs before they even realize they need something. Food was great. Service was great. Restaurant was clean and tidy, great atmosphere. For sure on my must visit lists while in Tampa. Thank you Tuesday for not just serving food, but for giving us an experience we won't forget.

My first time here today! What an outstanding visit across the board!! From the manager, server, and the food. These folks were all awesome. The food was very good. I like that they offer the cheese and chocolate fondue like The Melting Pot but already made entrées and apps. I will definitely be back and recommend to everyone I know. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

Wonderful new find in Downtown Tampa. Everything we had was super tasty. It's not just fondue. I would say the winners of the night were the sticky ribs and TPA cocktail. Loved the entire staff. So friendly and knowledgeable. Great job !

Great concept for a restaurant. This is not your average melting pot! Great atmosphere with kicking positive vibes. The environment is casual with good tunes in the background. I love the idea of "Chef Curation" and adding dippers. Also they have other great choices if 🫕 is not your speed. However, I highly recommend the the short ribs and the melted Chocolate desert. Our server Brennan, made some great recommendations in drinks and food choices. He killed the service side as well. I love when a server makes suggests to try an alternation in the standard offering that they have personally tried. He recommended several tips in drinks and food choices that added that extra touch. Mocktails are awesome if you are l9oking for a good non-alcoholic beverage! This also looks like a great evening drink spot with a delicious selection of craft drinks like old fashions.

What a fantastic unique place. If you like fondue you need to try this place. The menu is fantastic and the service was top notch. We had queso fondue, the sticky rib app, chicken and waffles and s’mores desert fondue. Our waiter Brennan was the best and split the chicken and waffle order for us without question. If you like a little bit different menu give this place a try. Plus a nice specialty drink menu and good rotating tap options.

A unique and tasty food experience, in a clean, well managed restaurant. Food quality, flavors and portions were very satisfying. The fondue flambe adds a bit of fun and entertainment, even moreso if in the dim evening light.

Reasonable prices and amazing spot for lunch/dinner! We tried the potstickers, the fried green tomatoes, and the Monterey fondu. Absolutely delicious, the potstickers were especially good.

It was the perfect "fusion" for my husband and I ..I love the original Melting Pot and he loves the Bar Style Social atmosphere. Their Lavender Lemonade was amazing and so was their Tropical Mojito. We had the Monterey Cheese Fondue and Pickle Fries for our dinner and the Golden Ticket for dessert. No complaints! And our bartender/server, Jackson was absolutely fabulous.

1st time here & Winter H. W as our server. She was so helpful with what to order & explaining everything to us, from the bar drinks to the food! We appreciate great service so much! The food was yummy (we added several additional items to our fondue) all of it was delicious! Such a fun place!

We were excited to try this new Melting Pot concept but were very disappointed. The atmosphere is more fast food chain restaurant, and the service was sub-par. We had reservations, so we were seated right away, but did not have anyone come to the table for 20 minutes, and when they did, there was no acknowledgment of that. We ordered the Queso Fuego which tasted like Velveeta with salsa, the Meltso House Salad was fresh and tasted good and the half size one was a bit larger than the one you get at the original Melting Pot. Finally, we ended with the Wildberry Swirl fondue, which was just okay, and we ended up not eating all of it. Overall, we were disappointed. If you love the original Melting Pot, skip this one.

First time at a Melting Pot, was not what I expected. Service was good and establishment was nice. Queso Fuengo was okay, Margherita chicken flatbread was not good even though it looked tasty. Also tried other dishes not pictured.

I was asked, “How would you describe the difference between Melting Pot and Melting Pot Social?” Melting Pot is where you go for dinner before Prom. MeltSo is where you go to dinner for any ol’ Tuesday! The edgy little sister of the beloved Melting Pot, this new concept is a GEM! 🔥 Family friendly and casual 🔥 Great value 🔥 Awesome drinks with locally distilled spirits 🔥 Customizable menu with MANY options 🔥 No self-cooking 🔥 Open late Fridays and Saturdays 🔥 KARAOKE FRIDAY NIGHTS! Catch me there! PRO TIP: Ask for a side of the goat cheese fondue with literally ANY ENTREE YOU ORDER! Thank me later.... Who is down for a GNO here with me?!?!? LET’S GOOOOOO!

One of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the manager stopped at our table multiple times and had conversations with us. Now the food. What can I say about the food other than immaculate and spectacular!! Fondue was the perfect size to share, the food came out quickly and hot. It was delicious! The drinks (we got non-alcoholic) were phenomenal! The restaurant is an absolute vibe. We will be heading back there frequently!

Tried MeltSo for the first time tonight and it was great. Not at all like the traditional Melting Pot concept and that is GREAT. We shared the fried pickles, the Monterey, Spinach & Artichoke and 'Your Curation' fondues and all were terrific. We were so full that two of us split the Raclette burger and one had some fried green tomatoes as an entree (one opted out entirely). Both were yummy as was the 'Your Curation' milk chocolate with orange butter, and I loved the caramel churro add on. We received terrific service from JAKE. He kept our drinks refilled, the food coming and the conversation entertaining. We'll certainly be back.

I had an absolutely perfect dining experience at the Melting Pot Social, all thanks to the exceptional service provided by Paula. From the moment I arrived, her warm and friendly demeanor made me feel right at home. Paula expertly recommended both a drink and a meal, and I couldn't have been happier with her choices. Speaking of the meal, the dish she recommended was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. Paula's attentiveness and knowledge truly enhanced my dining experience, and I am grateful for her impeccable service. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience, I highly recommend visiting and asking for Paula. You won't be disappointed!

My new favorite restaurant in Tampa. Everything was outstanding. Service was awesome. Hostesses were great, and Tuesday was the best waitress we have had in ages. She was friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable, especially given the short time the restaurant has been open. The cheese fondue was just as good as what you would get at the Melting Pot. We did one of there creations and one of our own. Fun and delicious. Surprisingly, the pickle fries overtook Tibby's as our favorite fried pickles. I really didn't expect that. They will tell you the ribs are good and they are not lying. Fantastic. Flatbread flambé was good, but wasn't quite as loved as the rest of the meal. The dessert was what you would expect, a hit. The ambiance was great. My kids, who are more into this stuff said it was trendy and cool. I just liked it. Go to Melting Pot Social, and go soon. As word gets out, this place is going to get packed. Not many places are 5 stars across the board, this one is. And remember to ask to sit in Tuesday's section for the best service.

What a great experience! We were fortunate to have Jake as our server. He was our guide through the journey of endless options for cocktails, starters, mains, sides & dessert, and he was insanely knowledgeable. Five stars for Jake straightaway! The deets: Party of 4 Thursday night We sat outside & enjoyed the shade & breeze We ordered: A slew of drinks— everyone was happy & tried everything from Both old fashioneds, the 813, etx—, I chose the Lavender Lemonade. It was sweet, but nice. •Apps: Two Fondues: Fuego & Monterey We were torn which we liked over the other- the Monterey I could personally taste the alcohol in, but both were notably good. Plenty of delicious dippers were to be had in a variety, which you could add dippers … there’s a list!! Super exciting. •Mains: We all ordered the Raclette burger - 2 total to be split between the 4 of us and they were to die for. The kitchen asks you cut your own burger, due to the way the raclette is poured on to the burger. No shame, no harm, and no foul! The secret sauce that comes on the side is spectacular. •Dessert: Two fondues were procured and enjoyed- we did the Turtle & the Golden ticket. Again, plenty of dippers — strawberries, bananas, Poundcake, marshmallows, fruity pebbles Rice Krispie treats (the people of Melting Pot Social— PLEASE GIVE US PLAIN RICE KRISPIE TREATS, please & thanks), mochi came with the golden ticket. Both were great, but really, chocolate is chocolate and pretty amazing. Service by Jake, again- top notch. The employees all seem like a team and there was no shortage of smiles and people to serve, clear, check in, run/refill & direct to the restroom at any time. What a lovely addition to downtown.
