I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I moved in April 2018 and had bad experiences since. The apartment the staff let you view is nothing like the actual apartment you will lease. They dont tell you about the overgrown lizards you deal with by your door. Other people kids are always in front if your door. Someone broke into my mailbox and the held the resident responsible and charge them a 25.00 fee no matter how many times it happens. They keep the front of the apartment clean, while the rest looks filthy. The staff is rude!!!. Whoever the manager is never has time to address any of the issues I have had since the beginning.

They have big closet space and it's a quiet neighborhood but other than that they are HORRIBLE! I moved here because it was the only thing available when I needed it. They have roaches and never call their pest control to spray them because it makes them multiply. I had a turmite problem and they said they would come back to paint next week over the holes they drilled and 8 months later they still haven't painted it. Maintenance will half fix EVERYTHING and say they'll be back and never do. They also have a bedbug problem. I live in the back and I have friends they stayed in the front and we all have the same problems​. The manager (Chelsea) never knows what's going on but has her staff telling people they're under NEW management but it's the same management they've had for over a year and NO-ONE has the number for except the manager of the apartments. Also the office staff is extremely rude. Most of the good we'll thought-out reviews are from the office and their friends. They even posted a picture of the model apartment as their pict.

NEVER stay here! Absolutely understand me when I say NEVER. This apartment complex is the worst place to live in Tampa. My mother got an apartment there because it was cheaper and seemed nice when they showed her the model. When she moved in there were roaches in her apartment, the carpet was dirty, the area around was dirty, EVERYTHING was dirty! The staff is rude and I could not wait to get her out of there! I wouldn't tell a homeless person to move there if they could. Just move on to the next place and keep looking!!!

Just following up with images of my apartment (1 MONTH AFTER ITS BEEN BROKEN INTO AND ROBBED BY ONE OF MY NEIGHBORS ) .. update on the investigation: No leads because the cameras near my building were non working at the time of the robbery.... Whoever gave this apartment complex 5 stars, was probably paid or works for the complex. I lived in Ashford Place for a little over 3 months with roommates. The apartments look nothing like what those photos show. During the time I was there the apartment was infested with cockroaches, it was dirty outside. I didn't have any security problems while I was there, but there was definitely the opportunity for it. After moving out the apartment complex charged us over $700 for "Damages" and cleaning fees. This matter hasn't been resolved yet, but in my experience with paying rent it was fine and they were nice. And during the times we needed assistance, it was very slow and they didn't do what they said they would. When I was being added to the lease it took three weeks, and we requested several times. Don't do it ;) And yes, drugs, people outside all the time, break ins, and cheap rent. you choose. your sanity and safety, or cheap rent.

I am a tenant here as of January 2018. I would say it made me some what a little nervous because you could see so much work really needed to be done However the staff mentioned there is a New owner and she is really working hard to correct all of the issues that need to updated here at Ashford. I have observed how much progress with the property being cleaned up gates purchased to have my h more better security. Chelsea is also fixing the fitness center has already installed new equipment already done even she is bringing a certain type of standard with the right kind of people whom she knows will appreciate and help with taking care of the property. She is out with the old in with the new. Just a little more patience and there will be much more to see.

I have no experience with their apartments, as I live in NJ My issue is that they charged my credit card $1600. I've never been in contact with them, been on their property or anything of the like. Never heard of them. I understand mistakes can happen but every single number I call gets sent to a voice mail system, where they're all full so i cant even leave a message! That being said, reading some of the other reviews here does not surprise me...

The new management team is AMAZING! Lots of big changes taking place here! The grounds are starting to look really nice. The office staff is very friendly and helpful! The maintenance workers are always polite. Work orders are completed by the next day, if there is a serious issue, the team gets on it immediately. Team members are all over every morning cleaning up any trash outside. Many units are getting major refurbishments. I can’t even begin to express how amazed I am with all that the new ownership is doing! I’d definitely recommend coming into see all the changes taking place!!
