Was in Tampa for a girls weekend and this was the first stop for restaurants. Out server was EXCELLENT,very attentive. The food was also good and drinks were fabulous. Also we didn't have to wait very long at all for a table surprisingly and it was on a Friday and holiday weekend at that

We got the seared tuna sandwich and the whiskey burger, both were very delicious, and can't wait to get them again. For drinks got the smoked old fashioned, wasn't very smokey but good, and the red sangria was delicious! Love the location, right across from the arena and only a couple of blocks from the wharf. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. Knowledgeable on the menu. Considering how busy they were in the restaurant the food came out quickly and the drinks as well! Lil was wonderful!

We check out this place just before a Lightning game. Get there early on game nights. 4:00 at the latest. It's conveniently located just across the street from Amalie Arena. This restaurant has the world's largest selection of draft beer. This sold me! I've attached pictures of the menu. Great selection. This is a perfect spot to grad a bit before a game.

Yard house was surprisingly good! I loved how cute the cocktails were and my waitress was super nice! I enjoyed my meal but definitely could have used more flavor! I would definitely go again!

FINALLY!! When we moved from Orlando I emailed Yard House asking if there would ever be a location in Tampa. Today is that day. More beers than you could ever drink and delicious food a hop skip and jump away from Channelside and Amelie. Hello and welcome to our new home!

First time eating here, and Holy it did not disappoint ! Stacy was a real sweetheart and took great care of us ! This was their 2nd day being open ! They have it figured out ❤️cannot wait to return ! Pizza was 10/10

For opening day the staff was calm cool and attentive. Food came out hot and delicious. This is a great addition to Tampa!

I enjoyed my lunch! I was so happy to have so many Vegetarian, Plantbased, Vegan meat options! My server Kara was nice and the manager even came by to make sure I was good with dietary accommodations. I'll definitely be back!

I came in the 1st Saturday after the Grand Opening and was not disappointed a bit. The 45 min wait was more like 30 min. The drinks were well crafted, and the food was excellent. Hostesses and servers were happy and had knowledge of the food. This will be on my go to list. Yard House will have tremendous success!!!

You would never know this place was only open for two weeks! We went during Happy Hour and enjoyed chicken lettuce wraps, tuna poke and a pizza.. all half-price! Lots of beer choices and everyone was so nice and smiling! Our server, Kolton was amazing! So fun and professional! He truly made our first experience at Yardhouse a big hit! We will definitely be back!

I never leave reviews, but I loved this meal so much I felt compelled! Sesame shrimp noodles are gluten free (gluten sensitive) and phenomenal. Huge portion, tons of shrimp. But light, not terribly spicy. Lots of flavor.

Opening day was a success from a patrons point of view. My husband and I sat at the bar and every employee worked cohesively. Drinks were served immediately and food was out within 15 mins. Poke Nachos are our absolute favorite!!

I have been to other Yard House locations across the country and was happy to see they opened one up in Tampa. My first visit was yesterday before the Lightning game on Gasparilla. Among the chaos of the crowd the service was excellent! Was able to get a drink at the bar quickly and our waiter Charles was great. The atmosphere was so great, even the staff was having a fun time. Definitely worth the wait and can’t wait to go back!

Tampa Local’s Experience on Opening day: All around great! Even though it was pretty busy due to the NFL games and it being the first official day of operation, all of the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The service was fast and the food/drink were delicious and without issue. Atmosphere: 8/10 Lots of TV’s around the inside and outside for sports, and the decor/lighting is well done. Comfortable seats between booths, high-tops, tables and bar seating. We were seated inside and it was extremely loud between the mass-chatter and overheard speakers. Granted, this was opening day and there was a TB Bucs game on, so this will probably vary based on time and day. There was also outdoor/patio seating available that may have been a quieter option. This is a fantastic place to meet up with friends on a game day or grab a quick bite. The happy hour deals look very good for those coming during the week too. Food/Drink: 9.5/10 We ordered the Poke Nachos to start (enough to split between two people), two beers/sours (from the extremely extensive list of options), the Korean BBQ Philly Sandwich, the Tacos (one “vampire” and one Korean BBQ Beef), a signature cocktail and then finished with a dessert to share (crème brûlée cheesecake). You are able to order drinks, apps and desserts from the on-table kiosk which made things extremely convenient. However, our server, Emily was very attentive and friendly, and checked in frequently bringing us everything we needed in-between and handled our entree orders. She was very easy going with substitutions (no cilantro, subbing different sides, etc) and the food came out quickly and hot! Everything we ordered was extremely tasty, very impressed for opening night! The Coco Passion cocktail was incredible, I would definitely recommend that for those that enjoy a tropical drink. They also have several “original” beer options on tap that you can’t find anywhere else such as the Honey Ale brewed in California. Cost/Pricing: 8/10 The prices are honestly not bad! Good value for money. Obviously, this is not a “budget” option for eating but it is what you can expect to pay unlike some places in downtown tampa that are completely extortionate. There are a ton of options available and a great variety of menu items. The happy hour deal looks like a good one (half off apps 3-6pm on weekdays with drink deals, $2 off cocktails, ~$10 half-yard 32oz beers, +more). If you sign up for email/text notifications you also get a FREE appetizer so take advantage and sign up for that in advance of your outing as the promo code can take a few hours to get sent to your inbox. Final Thoughts: This place seems like a fantastic addition to Downtown Tampa and a more casual place in comparison to the “boutique” nature of Water Street across the road. The placement across from Amalie Arena and a couple trolley stops is perfect for those either heading to a lightning game or eating/drinking their way around the city. My only suggestion would be for the restaurant to allow in-advance reservations, even with a credit card put down, for special events such as birthday celebrations or to accommodate larger parties. The waitlist feature is there to prioritize those guests, but carries no guarantee and you and your party could be still left waiting depending on how busy it is. Having the option to put a reservation down for special events or large gatherings would alleviate a lot of stress related to possibly not getting a table or waiting a long time and not being able to go anywhere else. Just something to think about for the future if this is even possible as a franchise location.
