We should’ve known that with the name bouzy, the food might have been an afterthought for this place. The service we had was great for our lunch meal. The prices and descriptions of the food items are a bit deceptive. The risotto was more of a side of cooked rice than anything else, the mushrooms in the bao and risotto were par cooked and not very tender or flavorful. The flavors overall lacked, the strawberry burrata salad was the best, but also the least prepared. If you’re only looking to order food, I would recommend against going here, the prices do not match the quality of the food.

Small but nice place. With good service and good food. Ideal for a relaxed afternoon with a good glass of wine. Baked oysters, burrata with strawberries, linguine with lobster and roasted chicken were good . Not excellent but good

We were a little nervous to try this because of all the reviews that it smelled like fish. However it wasn't at all that way tonight. The food and service were excellent and the champagne room was very pretty and softly decorated. We encourage everyone to try it at least once. The NY strip was cooked to perfection and the Lobster bao was so fresh. We will come back to this establishment.

This place is super cute. My husband and I went here for a pre-movie drink and appetizer grab so we can’t speak too much about the main courses. But, the service was good…Sydney was a gem. As many mentioned, there was a fishy smell upon entry but not too overbearing. We sat in the champagne cellar which was cute but very quiet. My husband had the briny and boozy martini which came served with an oyster-cool! And I had the soul of Jalisco which had Bouzy’s label stamped in the ice. We had the charcuterie board and pork belly boa buns. The food was okay, a bit overpriced for what we got. We did enjoy the candied pralines, yum! We also had the espresso martini and passione which were so good! We probably would return for a cocktail and to chat with Sydney who was awesome but the food left a bit to be desired.

I was dying for this place to open! Great new addition to the Hyde Park area. lively ambience, tasty food, and cocktails along with a great selection of champagne. You also have options of Cava and Prosecco. We were able to get a quick tour during our first time in the back wine cellar dining room, which has a more intimate ambience. Love the intimacy of the back dining room. You’re also able to rent a space for private events. The main bar area is decorated beautifully. They added an amazing bubbles chandelier that obviously is an homage to the bubbles in champagne. My favorites are the lobster Bao buns, the PB and J foie gras, the caviar sandwich, caviar, and beef carpaccio.

Gorgeous little spot. Server was super nice. The carpaccio is absolutely amazing. Best we’ve had. The fois Gras pb&j, not a fan. Weird flavor combo and bread was soggy. Love that they carry Buffalo Trace products. Tried the vodka and old fashioned. Super expensive for size of drinks. But good overall. Seating is tight, small for taller/bigger people.

I loved the ambiance of Bouzy. It felt very intimate and upscale. The hostess greeted me and was very sweet. My waiter was pleasant and made sure I was doing ok. The lobster bun was DELICIOUS. I could honestly live off those lol. The Hyde Away drink was made to perfection. I will most definitely be back!

I’ve been excited about this place for a long time, as a lover of champagnes. I knew Cru would come through a solid list of grower champagnes and I was not let down. The food was all pretty good. I loved the beet salad, lobster tacos and filet. The caviar toast was not very good though. The brioche toast was tasty but it barely had caviar, and was basically toast with mayo. I’d be happy to pay $18 and just get a bump of caviar. We sat at the bar and there was no fish smell at all, so that must have gotten figured out. Anyway, our service was great and I’ll def be back!
