1.) Leasing Office never answers. 2.)These apartments are infested with roaches and gnats…BADLY. I’ve raid bombed the place and had pest control come 3 times and the bugs are still here and Im a VERY clean person so cleanliness barely makes a difference to that issue bc it’s the building itself 3.) When you do request pest control, they don't look around. They spray one small spot in the kitchen area and thats it. 4.) They have terrible communication. I left multiple messages on the phone and emails and no one responds back. 5.) Theres 1 accessible trash can in the far corner of the property 6.) A “dog park” that’s literally a patch of grass and a fence 7.) 1 laundry area with half the machines broken and all of them dirty 8.)I had to wait 2 weeks when I first moved in for a gate key so i had no reliable way of accessing MY apartment unless someone let me in. 9.) also had to wait 3 weeks for a laundry card when I first moved in 10.)If you get a loft style, the upstairs gets HOT with poor circulation and a fan is not enough you have to have all the ceiling fans on at all times, the AC downstairs and an extra fan to feel somewhat cool upstairs and a lot of the time that still isn’t enough. 11.) the cabinets and drawers are old and shed ALOT of wood. 12.) The A/C sparks and smokes when you up the temperature as well so if you ever get too cold downstairs you just have to turn it off completely. I get it these apartments are cheap but if you can afford something better or just find somewhere with less problems, I would recommend that because this place is NOT it AT ALL Below are pictures of roaches in the light fixure, wood shavings in the kitchen drawers, bath tube deterioration after only 3 months of living here, the dog park, and one trash can.

I co-signed on a apartment for my relative, I own a business for over 30 years excellent credit over 750 and make great money, they gave me a hard time proving my income even through I gave them 2 months bank statements making 6 times the rent. ( they would not honor my cash customers payments as proof with invoices and bank statements with deposits. Denied my relative because of a collection and Am doing the Co-signing wow. They kept my $320 for fee's straight RIP OFF looking forward to sueing. Be very careful when applying

Dont Lease here. This was my experience. Your 2 employee miscalculated and dragged my application on for weeks. Everything they needed is uploaded and dated on both our ends. I sat with your employee Ari and watched her miss numbers after she told me she had somebody else count it and it was still off, I counted it myself and December was off $6 to $8 and January $60 to $70. Your employees told the manager counted it up and it was still off. I asked Sheila if she was the one the added up my numbers and she said it was one of the 2 employees. So they lied on there manager Sheila. This was all before Sheila went on vacation and me and Ari counted the numbers in the office while Sheila was on vacation. It should not of taken this long to begin with. Ari saw that she was wrong and said she would talk to the Regional which I'm assuming is You Dennis copied on this email. More days have passed and I haven't heard from anyone. 3 weeks almost a month has passed now she asking February which more days has passed because my statement comes later February. It again never should have gotten to this point. I finally get a hold of the other lady in the office with Ari and she still talking about January being $300 short. She was obviously wrong and not caught up on anything from a week and a half before me and her spoke. Neither of the employees would give me your contact information. They said it can only be giving out by the manager who was on vacation. They are extremely unprofessional and ignorant it's no wonder this place has constant reviews on multiple sites talking about how unprofessional and ignorant the staff is. Please have these people retrained in adding numbers and attention to detail.

This place has been taken over by new management and they have done an awesome job with cleaning this place. In the past year service has been better, maintenance is 5 Star all the way by having quick response time and keeping trash off the grounds. Very quite at night and peaceful, big changes have been made in a year, I just resigned my lease for another year and would like to say thank you for all your hard work. Keep up the good work

No stars! This place scammed my daughter out of $300 to rent an! apartment that they already rented. Anyone looking to live here runs the risk of being ripped off! Dirt bag evil people run this dump

Sheila the property manager is phenomenal. She is always so helpful. Applying and moving in was super easy and definitely industry standards for apartment applications. If anything they had ways to get in faster and were so helpful! I have lived here for 6 months and all the maintenance staff and security is nice too!! All the requests I have put in for fixing and maintenance have been done fast and fixed beyond expectations. Yes there is pest control because we live in Florida. Duh. They definitely care and do their best to accommodate everyone.

0 stars if i could. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. My husband & I applied. payed over 300$ we never hear back from them. lack proper communications. said my husband was missing pay stubs when we tried to fixed it the website said "processing". Our application got canceled because somehow they didnt get out numbers off our application and had the wrong number for my husband. tried to text & email no reply. Got a text from Yaniris Garcia to speak the manager. When i texted back about hours no reply. finally got told they would call me back and still haven't heard from them and its past a month. Not going to waste another 300$ to reapply. not worth it.

I’m not gonna lie I did enjoy my stay at Copeland Village Apartments. Yeah it was super ghetto and there’s mad roaches and almost got attacked by a crazy crack head in the parking lot one night but that’s what you get with cheap rent. I really like the neighbors and the apartment itself for what it was, which wasn’t much. However the property manager of this establishment I believe her name is sheila is downright awful. As a manager myself at an establishment on the MacDill Air Force Base if she was one of my employees she would be gone. She lacks basic people skills and and is very rude and condescending and after reading the other reviews I think Copeland needs to take a hint.
