I had an emergency and her staff was able to schedule me the very same day. She is very thorough, explains all details so you know exactly what to expect, gentle and kind. I have been a patient of Dr. Upshaw for more than 15 years. In all the years she and her team have taken care of me, I have ALWAYS received the most excellent care! Dr. Upshaw genuinely cares! She is super gentle, kind, personable, and has a soothing, calming approach. She makes sure you are comfortable during procedures and explains everything thoroughly. I trust her so very much, that on occasion have fallen asleep while she works on me. She uses a special technique whenever she administers anesthesia that is painless and you don’t even feel the shot!! She is an excellent, gifted dentist and I explicitly trust her and her staff with my oral care. Her staff is as wonderful as she is… cut out of the same mold!!! They are friendly, kind, professional, comforting… they sincerely care and treat you like family! I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend her to my loved ones, associates and friends. Dr. Upshaw is not only an exceptional dentist, but also essential for someone like me who always been terrified of the dentist with traumatic experiences with the dentist as a child. What sets Dr. Upshaw apart from other dentist I've encountered, is her genuine kindness and understanding. She listens!!! She explains every procedure in a clear and easy way to understand. She is soft handed and her shots don't hurt!!! The results have been phenomenal, and my dental health has significantly improved under her care.
