Rude intolerant staff! I stopped in here yesterday around 3pm for happy hour which I have done many times in the past for the better part of ten Years after a hard days work in soho. I bough one drink and got my free drink chip. The first drink was ok, vodka and cranberry , I went to the rear patio to have a second drink using my free chip. The second drink was practically water. I had told the bartender that the drink was weak and I would pay extra for a stronger drink and I would throw in a good tip if he would kindly correct this...He said that I had enough to drink and I was henceforth cut off. For a place I had been visiting since my mid 20's and brining friends and business to, I will no longer be supporting this bar, and it brings me no pleasure to have to hang my hat on this decision, especially after all the good times and memories I have accumulated here. I wish things were different, but I will not tolerate such rude and blaton behavior from someone working here less time than I have been a loyal customer.

Was visiting last week with my husband and good friend. They treated us like crooks using the bathroom because me and my hubby went in the stall together. Simply because there is one urinal and one stall. Did not like the way they treated us. What else would you expect from 3 gay men at a bar in an unfamiliar location! We were being safe sticking together. Not stocking each other. Had a blast at the bar 20 minutes away in St. Pete. & They didn’t treat us the same way this bar did!

My decision to visit this place was out of curiosity. What I found were mostly middle-aged men in shorts, nursing drinks at the bar and gossiping like old women. I purchased an overpriced soda because I don't drink alcohol. Not a single person spoke to me though I nodded and was friendly. Should be called a "sad" bar. Not a gay person in the crowded.

Awful place. Heavy sexual harassment culture. Disgusting and deplorable staff. I visited on Saturday, August 12. I had two drinks and was cornered in the bar by three guys. I was able to push away and go outside, where I sat in the corner. A guy started talking to me, which he seemed nice but looks and appearances are always deceiving. I finished 3/4 of my drink and got a water from the bar. When I came back to him, I noticed I had almost half a drink. My drink had no ice in it, so I know he laced my drink. I casually dumped it out and the guy became unglued. I alerted the bar staff that there was a drink spiker in the bar drugging drinks. Several of them wouldn't address it and others stated "What you expect me to do about it?" I was positively stunned. It is in no way to state this bar condones this activity, but it is not state they will stop it either. You are on your own and bar staff is just there to serve drinks and make money.

First off the food is terrible so not Order any food there whatsoever. Place doesn’t look like photos on google it’s not a fancy place at all like the photos make it look like. Mostly older crowd and boring and no dance music. The drinks are cheap and the shows are decent for such a small place. Overall it’s not a bad place for a cheap drink. It would be better if they had dance music and floor

This is a low key Gem in the Tampa area. Fabulous bar with incredible entertainment. The drinks are fairly priced. Staff is friendly and courteous. The patio bar has been redone and looks great. The shows are great with a new stage. Atmosphere is friendly and inviting. This is definitely a welcoming place for all.

I love coming to this bar, I always have a great time. Low key, good drinks, reasonable price, good entertainment and a very friendly audience and staff.

Absolutely 100% recommend!! Im new to the area, and the staff at city side were very welcoming. The community is wonderful, the entertainment is feirce, the drinks are good and strong, and in the rare occasion that confrontation may occur, staff is quick to respond and assess your situation. I cant wait to return and see the lovely faces at city side again.

I love this bar dearly. The people there are some of the most amazing people I've ever met. I always enjoy my time everytime I step into this bar. This was the first gay bar I've ever experienced and it has been a wonderful one. The music, the atmosphere, the drag shows, karaoke, the bartenders, an overall great time. I highly recommend you give this place a visit!

Best place to visit if you’re looking for a good time. Always clean, great people and great music. Especially love doing karaoke out back in the sports bar.

D and Mike are such a pleasure- talk about hospitality at its finest! My wife and I visited with a bunch of members from our Facebook group for karaoke last night and had an amazing time. The drinks, community and over all family vibe can’t be beat!! Thanks for having us 💙

This place is awesome! Super friendly staff, great drinks and the karaoke nights are amazing! My friends and I always felt welcome and have had great nights!
