I
have
been
to
many
Miller's
Ale
House
restaurant
locations,
from
Deer
Park
and
Commack,
New
York
locations
to
the
many
locations
throughout
Florida.
This
Fowler
Avenue
location
falls
short
of
the
quality
of
food
and
service
of
the
West
Columbus
Drive
Tampa
location.
My
wife
and
I
arrived
at
about
8:15
on
a
Thursday
evening.
My
wife
ordered
the
Prime
Rib
with
a
side
of
Baked
Potato.
(Prime
Rib
is
listed
as
only
available
on
Thursdays
and
Sundays.)
My
wife
was
told
that
they
were
out
of
Baked
Potatoes.
Given
that
Baked
Potatoes
are
available
after
5
p.m.,
one
can
only
wonder
how
this
side
became
unavailable
in
the
span
of
3
hours.
My
wife
then
ordered
a
side
of
the
Cilantro
Rice,
which
was
too
al
dente
for
her
to
enjoy.
The
Prime
Rib
was
well-
seasoned
and
flavorful.
I
ordered
the
Steak
Fajitas,
which
I
have
ordered
at
other
Miller's
Ale
House
restaurants
in
the
past.
While
I
ordered
the
steak
at
a
medium
level
of
doneness,
the
dish
I
received
had
well
done
steak
only.
The
atmosphere
was
typical
Miller's
Ale
House
-
crowded
Thursday
night.
The
service
took
a
bit
long
to
provide
our
dishes,
but
improved
after
our
plates
were
initially
served.
I
like
Miller's
Ale
House
because
of
good
menu
choices
and,
generally,
reliably
well-
flavored
food.
I'm
likely
to
try
the
Fowler
Avenue
Tampa
location
again,
chalking
last
night's
meal
to
an
unusually
"off"
night.
At
this
stage,
however,
if
you're
a
first-
time
diner
with
a
choice,
opt
for
the
West
Columbus
Drive
location.
(Recommendations
below
are
based
on
prior
visits
to
other
Miller's
Ale
House
locations.)
