Taps is exactly what you expect from the photos. It’s professional, clean, and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. I came to experience a good cocktail, and chose the old fashioned. I was not disappointed! Michelle B did a fantastic job. She was very attentive and made my experience here that much better. 10/10 would recommend stopping by.

Sooo Taps is a chill restaurant bar to grab a bite to eat and/or drink. They have TVs if you are interested in watching some sports. I was able to grab a high-top table to myself. The waiter was very friendly and made good menu suggestions. I enjoyed the appetizer and dessert more than my main meal. I think they were on a limited menu due to COVID but that might have changed. A good spot for friends or a nice date night. What was ordered: Tuna Crudo / Lechon Asado Pork Tacos / New York Cheesecake Tuna Crudo = Give me more Lechon Asado Pork Tacos = Over cooked maybe? more sauce maybe? New York Cheesecake = Strong finish to the meal

(TAPS) Wow , what can I say about one of the best restaurant bars and lounge within the greater Tampa Bay area. Well, first off, the atmosphere is completely engulfing, and you will definitely be consumed by the playlist of great music from either the sound system or sometimes live D.J. 😀 The bartenders have definitely got the mixology thing down to a science. My ammoretta sours were almost perfect. I didn't indulge in anything to eat this time , only cocktails, but I'll most certainly have a thorough breakdown on the food next time, which will be in the very near future. The staff here are very friendly and keep the place very clean and enjoyable, and that's always a plus !

This is our go to spot whenever we want to kick back, chill, drink, and eat! Taps has a chill vibe , which I love! On top of that, they have the best wings we've found in Tampa so far. Great food. Great drinks. Great vibe.

Wonderful service and drinks. The food was very flavorful, but the truffle fries were a limp and kind of soggy. I prefer crisp and hot fries. I would definitely come back and eat here again.

This was our first visit...most likely our last. When we got there, there was a huge party just standing around the bar. They were totally flooding the tables so people that wanted food had to wiggle in. The staff originally said we could sit outside (in the cold, no thanks) or just deal with it. No one even asked them to scootch away from the tables. My food was fine, but my hubs got the wrong food altogether. The drinks were good. Music was weird and way too loud for such a tiny space. Was way too expensive for what it was.

The wife and I started with the crab and artichoke dip. The dip was very good. What I really want to talk about is the Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf and Lechon Asada. The meatloaf was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The lechon asada was an explosion of flavor. Everything was plated perfectly. This is a must try if you are in the area.

Stopped after watching Batman in concert. Within walking distance from Poe parking garage. We enjoyed the BLT & Gouda hand held paired with a spicy pear tequila. 🤤

Good place with a chill vibe. The atmosphere looks fancy but the people seem relaxed. I got the gyro and it was delicious; the meat was crispy and the pita was cooked just right. My girlfriend got the meatballs and pasta and it came out plated so well. We would come back here again when in town again.

We stopped here while traveling through town. Loved that it was in walking distance of the Marriott so we could go there trouble free. The food was the best around and it was a very comfortable place to hang out into the evening. Good beer, food, and great service.

We loved our experience here! They got our party of 6 seated in 45 mins on a busy Saturday night during Winter Village, which was great. Josh was our server and was very attentive, personable and informative. All of our food was delicious and tasted fresh! Would definitely come back again.

My date and I stopped here on our way to a show at Tampa Theater. It was 5:30 p.m. But the DJ was so loud it was more like 9:30 p.m. My date and I couldn't hear each other or the server. Speaking of the server, I had to flag him down to get menus, to get silverware, to get a cocktail menu, to get more water, and to pay the bill. The food was fine. But with the prices we paid, I expected it to be more than fine. One of the cocktails I ordered was flat out disgusting. We won't be back.

I walked into the bar, and John, the GM, looked at me with surprise and asked me how I got in. I pointed at the side door. He told me they didn’t open until 5, and it was 4:14. Then he asked, what would you like. My buddy and I had some drinks and shot the breeze with him and one of the bartenders that came in before we left to go pregame for the Bucs game. Taps gets customer service!

Wonderfully great! Quick and kind service. The ambiance was lovely, and the music wasn't too loud. The meatloaf was fantastic and came with a big portion of salad, which I also ordered.

Went here for a birthday celebration 🥳 and it was real nice. Didn't have any food except a dessert but the lemon drop was 🔥. The place was packed but the staff was limited. We sat for a time and then headed to the bar for drinks and was told to order through our server. Well....I hadn't seen any at all. She finally came and was super nice. Was clear that they were understaffed. Would still recommend 8/10. 🫶🏾🥳

Took the Mrs. here for a quick bite before a show. We walked in not sure what to expect. But we're glad we gave it a chance! Drinks & and food were excellent! Tuna crudo will blow you away! She had the French dip, super-savory! I had the salmon, perfectly cooked! Finished up the night with an order of their outstanding cheesecake! All around great experience!!

Absolutely wonderful! Friendly and quick service. Music was not too loud, the atmosphere was very nice. I had the meatloaf with a side salad and it was delicious and a large serving!

Great food, French dip sandwich was phenom. Great drinks, corpse reviver #2 was delicious. Great price, $10ish classic cocktails and 15$ entrees. Wonderful waitstaff, the waitress literally got 30m of sleep that night and still made me a phenomenal drink all while holding down the entire FOH solo. Come visit this place!

Cute place indoor and outdoor seating available. The weekend in key largo drink was the best I've ever had their meat balls were delicious highly recommend. Will definitely go again.

Great Apps! Service was a bit slack,waitress was nice & all but went in on Sun. afternoon, not many inside, we sat outside & had to wait a little longer than necessary, for most everything. Apparently the kitchen was running behind. BAD problem when they're @ 40% occupancy. Drinks were tasty. Go see for yourself. Nice spot Dwntwn.

This place was frickin cracked. I'm pogging out of my gourd here. Excellent food, reasonable prices, good atmosphere, courteous staff. Easily one of our favorite places in the area. If it ever closes down, I am going to become the Joker.

When I first showed up I wasn’t that impressed. I waited a while to get any service and waited a long while for my drinks. I almost left…almost. Then we got the best server in the place. Michael! He catered to us well and remedied the whole situation. Poured us great wine and got our orders out quickly once learning about our inconvenience. That man deserves the world! The food was amazing, drinks were strong and times were merry: highly recommend

What a great little spot to have a nice cocktail or quick lunch. Atmosphere is quaint and warm. Very inviting. Service was great. The French dip was outstanding. Fresh baked bread, delicious meat, the au-jus was perfect and the horseradish was very mild and fresh. We ordered two, and one had a soggy bottom which was a bummer. Nachos were good. Mac and cheese was thick and full of flavor. Pricey lunch.

I stopped by for a quick bite to eat before going to the Tampa Theatre. The service was excellent. My Old-Fashioned was very good. I asked to have it made so it’s not so sweet. He did a great job. The roasted pork was So Good. The rice and the beans were cooked just right. Everything was delicious. I will be returning. Thank You.

The service with the whole staff was excellent. Our waitress Sammie was awesome. Traveled to Tampa to celebrate my daughter's 57th birthday party of about 27. The food was spot on for taste and freshness, the prices were great as well. I loved the selection of wines. Definitely would recommend and I myself will be returning.

Cute place to stop by and have a bite to eat. Joshua was a great server. He was very personable and very helpful with options on the menu. He treated us like we had known him for a long time! Our party had the wings as an appetizer, we got half with their house wing sauce and half done in the blackened dry rub and both options were really good. We ordered for our entrees the Bourbon Salmon, Cuban, Rigatoni with meatball and the pork tacos. They were all very tasty and a perfect portion and came out very hot. We will definitely stop back there when we are in the area and we will definitely ask for Joshua!
