When I was in Tampa, Florida exploring the beer scene in support of my beer blog, I came across several interesting places. I can thank the Tampa Brew Bus for helping me get to so many places in a single day and one that tuned out to be more of a general beer bar than anything was Pour House. Pour House is a beer bar that features a handsome tap wall with 40 taps flowing. The beer on tap includes a few Pour House brewed beers, but the vast majority are beers from other breweries. This is exactly the opposite of the typical brewery, most of which serve mostly their own beer and maybe a few taps from other breweries. You cannot sample several, smaller servings of beer at Pour House because they don’t do flights. This was a disappointment for me when I visited, since I like to try as many of the house brewed beers as possible. I had limited time when I visited, so I had to quickly choose a couple of beers and order full size servings. Another thing lacking here is food. Pour House doesn’t have its own kitchen, however, it is common to find food trucks outside so you might be able to get something to eat when you visit. Otherwise, be sure to arrive with a full stomach, ready for beer. Pour House does have outdoor seating and for fun and entertainment, Pour House has a pool table and several televisions for sports viewing. They allow dogs, too, so you can bring along your best friend if you like, for immediate companionship. There is nothing that really stands out about Pour House as unique, but it is a nice place to chill with a beer and this, combined with the good service, makes Pour House deserving of a look.

Awesome brewery in Grand Central Channel District. My new favorite in town. It helps that I just moved across the street but it’s more than that. The beer quality of their own brewed beer is very good and the other selections are a nice mix of local Tampa stuff and even good international beers. The staff is awesome and if you come regularly they get to know you which is a big factor to me.

Their beer is ok but their customer service was kinda lame. They charge 8 dollars for a beer and on the menu it is says it’s a 16 ounce pour (ok that makes sense for a craft beer) when they poured my beer it was in a plastic cup, I also get that, it’s busy tonight. When I got back to my table my buddies beer looked much larger, after looking on the bottom of their plastic cup, I could easily see why, they used a 12 ounce cup. So when I went in to order another beer I mentioned, you guys are advertising 16 ounce pours and charging for 16 ounces but pouring into a 12 oz cup. After briefly explaining that the menu says 16 ounces he told me “ya we charge the same price whether I give you a 12 or 16 ounce pour.” So just like know that if you go there they may swindle you over their beer.

Loved this place. Amazing draft and bottle list and great service. The atmosphere of the channel district was spot in for any demographic. Will definitely be back to visit again for some more radical pours.

Moved into the building 1 month before it opened and spent the next 8 years living at the bar. Great owners/bartenders. Whether you're a local or just visiting, you'll have a great time.

I'm rating their selection of drinks under food. Nice atmosphere I could drink here and ppl watch all day.

Small family brewery located in the Grand Central block. Shares a space with a coffee shop so you can have coffee in the morning and beer at night. Great space for digital nomads with outlets on the bar. They brew their own Pour House beers with some fantastic Hefeweizens (like my favorite the La Flama Blanca Belgian White) and also others like the Willy Mays Haze IPA. They also serve other local beers from brewers like Late Start and Magnanimous. With all the places around here that serve mostly large National beers, I can’t think of a reason why you wouldn’t come here every time you’re in the area.

Great sports bar with amazing craft brews. Their own brewed beers are very good. Good service. Would recommend if you are in the Tampa downtown area looking for craft brews.

No food but the owner is super accomidating & nice. Had our work Christmas party there. He let us decorate, bring food & games in. Lots of fun. Pool table was a plus!!!!

Don't tell people "the bathrooms aren't public for future reference" when they just don't end up finding any beers worth staying for on your list

Great neighborhood bar. Good place to go with friends or alone. Highly recommend

They have a moscato there that is wonderful! 1st time there and I'll definitely go back.

Decent spot. No hard liquors. Didn't complain at all when a group of drunk revelers came. Took care of them and calmed down the ones who got too rowdy. Prices arent low nor high for the area. I'd be back.

Seriously the best bar in Tampa. Great staff. An amazing selection of beers and the most chill ambience you could want. Beer only. No liquor. But really really god beers, wine, and kambucha

This is a great place for drinking beer and watching sports. There is no food, however, you can order next door and bring it inside.

Awesome location and really good beer. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable... Not to mention patient!

One of my favorite Spots in Tampa, great service great beer. And Gingerbeard coffee is a must!
