This Restaurant is really Amazing! Always have a good experience here. Been here many times Over the years and always loved it. I sat In the bar area a few times very relaxing, I sat in the main area Just perfect! The food and service is really just top of the line. I love the international Mall area as well some of My favorite shopping and restaurants are always here, including the Apple Store In the mall of course! Lol. I will see you again soon!

Fabulous food, service and decor! Thanksgiving was a very special day. Although, The Capital Grille accommodated us for Thanksgiving dinner. The Turkey was delicious, and it was well recommended from our waitress. Other great recommendations from her were the Pumpkin cheese cake, and the Bohemian cocktail. It is so nice that someone from the staff came and asked if we're served well. Love this place!

The service and food here is high quality and classy. The food was phenomenal! The steak was tender, juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, not to mention excellent presentation. Brussels sprouts were delicious and tasty, the lobster crab cake was divine. Chris B was our server and he did an excellent job! Definitely coming back to celebrate another special occasion.

I have been to many of the 5-star restaurants in Tampa. They all have done well from the food, drinks, to service. But today was the day we encountered one of the best experiences that Tampa has to offer. The ambiance inside and outside was top notch. Classy, clean and above all spacious. The service Danny Torres provided was professional, deliberate, and careful. He made sure we were welcomed with complimentary greetings of the restaurant. From one man to another, he was well dressed and expressed professionalism through his appearance.👍 Now to the Best part. When I tell you every piece of food that entered my mouth was awesome. I ordered the Prime rib, medium well, and it was cooked perfectly. The gourmet mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful. Those together were a knockout punch. The house Long-island was the best I've had in the area, because the bartender made a house sweet and sour with care. And to top it all off we had the best dang cheesecake I've ever had, and I mean I've ever ever had in life! This cheesecake was from heaven and I hope its there at the holy gates. Thank you Capital Grille for such a great lunch and awesome experience.

This is really a good stakehouse The food quality is very high and all the preparation are done at perfection. I had the best Tuna stake I've ever had in US really good and cook perfectly was awesome 👌. The service is really good and Coraline is greate ! Nice environment nothing special but nice . I'll comeback soon

So the Capital grille didn't disappoint as always walking in the staff did everything they could to give us a great seat inside or outside. We opted for outside because it was 75° and we had two waiters assisting us It was great. We had steak and salad both did not disappoint we will definitely come back to this place as the food was spectacular. Long story short we will be back sometime in the near future. Great job restaurant and staff

My husband wanted a experience that he has never had before so I took him out for his birthday and had dinner here and I must say that our waiter Bill was amazing. He really gave my hubby an experience especially when he came out with a birthday dessert ❤️ but Everything that we order was phenomenal! Thanks bill for your personality you made my day and I really hope you enjoy the tip I left you and that is to show my appreciation.

This location deserves all the stars and I would recommend them for a few reasons. A few friends and I visited this location the day after hurricane Idalia so it was nice to see our reservation still being accommodated by their wonderful staff. I must also add that I really loved how attentive our waiter was and I could see that all the servers also worked really well with one another. This location does not offer complementary valet like the Orlando location which might be an issue if you visit on a weekend. On to the food, every single item that we had was delicious. I couldn’t get enough of the onion bread and our server even gave us some to go. The steak was probably one of the best I had, the soy glazed Brussel sprouts were juicy, flavorful and since I visited during the time that they were offering the generous pour, I got go leave with a little buzz. This is fine dining done right and Capital Grille is officially on my list of favorite restaurants in Tampa.

First timers. I compare this very similar to Eddie V's and Ocean Prime. Server was fantastic as well as the food. Had the Porcini rubbed bone in ribeye with 15 yr aged balsamic. Wow!

She said ‘YES’! and the restaurant and staff somehow made it so special with an unsolicited reaction… It blew her away and this review is a HUGE BIG thank you! We were more than overjoyed and with a little planning and communication to some great staff at Capital Grille, our engagement was magnificent! So, I reached out by phone to a hostess by the name of Sierra a few days earlier and she was able to locate the same exact table that we sat at five years ago to the day where we considered it our first date. Just by phone-even text, she made magic and was instrumental… I never got a chance to meet her but here’s another THANK YOU! She assured us that she would hold the table and I explained my plans, and she kinda ran with it to others at restaurant. When we arrived, I believe my soon-to-be would be on to what was going on since there were rose petals all over the table and was a great setting for the night. Our server, Adam Daniels was smooth with timing and was hip to the action, -took care of what I had requested and went without a hitch.. ah err, I mean i guess I’m getting hitched -you know what I am saying… Of course, this is one of our favorite places and the food was amazing as usual so shouts to the chefs! I can go on and on so I and Kristin want to send a special thanks out to a couple other folks.. Bella and Manager Todd Blumencranz. If I missing anybody, my apologies but everyone at Capital Grille really made our night one to remember!

My husband made reservations for my birthday here and I'm so glad that he did. It was close to where we were staying. When we arrived we were greeted immediately and only waited but a moment to be escorted to our table. The dimly lit restaurant was ideal for ambience, difficult for pictures, but that's what a flash is for! I ordered a caramelized French onion soup, steak and lobster, and Mac and cheese (for my kids). The other entrées were coffee crusted ribeye and roasted chicken. We also had shoestring fries for the table. Everything was delicious. The steak didn't have much flavor on its own but it was cooked to perfection, as was the lobster. The sauce the it was in was melt in your mouth amazing though 😋 the French onion soup was tasty, but not the best one I've ever had. I enjoyed how it was full of bread, which is very different from just having it on top. The fries were delicious, perfectly crisp and salty. The service though? SUPERB. We had the lovely Jasmine as our waitress and she was personable and wonderful with my kids. The table had confetti on it for my birthday and at the end of our dining experience she brought a celebration platter of this incredible creme brulee cheesecake and chocolate gnash cake. They even took a photo and printed it for us! Great place to have a celebration of any kind! Highly HIGHLY recommend.

This place is delicious and fancy, but the prices are high and the service was slow and inaccurate. The lunch entree of seared tuna was $34 and the portion was tiny. The Parmesan truffle fries are fantastic. The flourless chocolate torte was very good. I would gladly come back if someone else was paying.

For Saturday night dinner we decided to have dinner at the Capital Grille Restaurant. It is a high-end restaurant with the beautiful decor and great environment. For the Saturday night we booked the table through open table. So when we went there our table was already booked. We were greeted by our server with Bread and Butter. The server was well communicated and understood all our details. After browsing the menu options we decided to order Salmon Fish and Lamb Chops. We got our order in 20 minutes. The food was freshly prepared and hot. The Salmon was very well made and amazing taste. The lamb chops was also well made and tasty as well as delicious. Amazing restaurant with the beautiful decor and delicious food.

Most importantly the service here is always exceptional. It is impressive. I ding them a bit because the menu is too predictable...yes, I know it is a chain but they should try to be a bit localized with one or two offerings. Otherwise between Flemings, Ruth Chris, and others the menu is the same. I will continue to dine here but hold my expectations to a enjoy standard steakhouse fare.

Hubby took me there for bday dinner, wow the food was amazing. We had the Bass and the tuna and were both beautifully cooked, also enjoyed tomato/cheese appetizer which fed 5 of us. Their drinks are delish but not our of this world. They did bring me out a all desert with a candle for my birthday but don't expect them to sing six they don't. Overall Capital Grill is a very upscale and explosive excellent dining experience but for special occasions.

My husband and I went here for birthday tonight and we had an amazing experience! We ordered filet mignon, lobster Mac n cheese, truffle fries, and clam chowder. It was all wonderful and cooked to perfection! Our sever Kevin, was so attentive and anticipated our needs even before we knew we needed it! Made the evening even more special. Will be going back soon!

A1 place from start to finish ! Food is just excellent, any menu item is just going to be of high quality. The atmosphere is upscale and has an authentic feel of the past. The service is also on par.

Delicious food and very professional staff. The New England Chowder was fresh and very flavorful. Lobster and crab cake was top-notch. Very flavorful and perfect texture. The sliced Filet Mignon paired with the fig sauce, was amazing. Bread is always delicious. Great Location, but traffic can be intense at times.

What a great experience at The Captial Grille. First off, their service was great, as expected at this type of establishment. Drinks and food came out in a timely manner. The NY strip was cooked to exact temperature. Thank you!

Great steak and service. Nick was a great and attentive waiter. My steak was great along with the potatoes and asparagus, the creamed spinach wasn’t everything I imagined but still good experience.

This place is Top Notch. I was already impressed by the mall Itself but when I found this amazing restaurant was a part of the mall I was blown away. I haven’t found a dining establishment of this caliber in any mall that I’ve ever been too. The food is mind blowing! Yes it is expensive but I’ve paid more money for much lower quality food. The atmosphere is extremely elegant as well. I found this place on a whim while visiting the mall but I had a known about this place ahead I’d definitely dressed more appropriately. This is one of the main 2 reasons that I plan to visit this mall the next time I’m in Tampa.

My first time eating here and I have to say…EVERYTHING we ordered was absolutely delicious! From the assortment of freshly baked breads, to the meaty lobster crabcake, the perfectly cooked tenderloins topped with lobster tails, the parmesan truffle fries, the glazed Brussels sprouts with bacon😍- and then the first timers’ dessert sampler with both the flourless chocolate expresso cake and a creme brûlée cheesecake- was truly something to experience! As for our service, I can’t say enough great things about our server CHRIS- he’s amazing and so attentive!👏🏼 Overall, I highly recommend this place…but save your pennies because its definitely more upscale, but so worth it!

Had a great lunch experience today and highly recommend you asking for Nick! Nick is very knowledgeable on the wines and made excellent suggestions on the pairings. The atmosphere was perfect for having a conversation and not having to raise your voice, giving it a very intimate feeling. Will definitely be back and asking for Nick’s section when we do!

Fine dining indeed! Everything was absolutely cooked to perfection and positively delicious! Had the cold seafood appetizer with the lump crab cocktail. Extremely fresh. The lamb chops were seasoned expertly as was the tomahawk veal chop. Best restaurant experience in Tampa this year by far. Must try!

From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The table was nicely decorated with a rose, confetti hearts and a note wishing us well on our 15 year anniversary ❤️ I wish I could remember our servers name because she was excellent and extremely attentive. The food was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the calamari and chefs special sliced filet mignon with sautéed mushrooms and fig. The flavoring was so amazing. I can't enough how amazing our dinner celebration was and have recommended it to everyone we know.

Visited this location last night for an Anniversary. I did not get our Server’s name; a very kind Asian man, but he was AWESOME! His service was above and beyond, he was patient with our children, and he was just overall a great person to converse with. As for the food, everything was beyond top notch, as always with this restaurant. The crème brûlée cheesecake was to die for! The single red rose and heart confetti waiting at the table when we were seated was such a beautiful little touch to add to our Anniversary celebration. Thank you, Capital Grille of Tampa for the wonderful dining experience!

We went to celebrate Valentine's Day. Our table was perfectly dressed with a rose and heart confetti. Our server, Beverly, was kind and patient and informative, as it was our first visit. She recommended only the best flavors for us. We just can't say enough positive about our entire experience. You gotta go!

Stopped in for a lunch with a friend. Service was excellent and the food was perfect! The Espresso Martini was great way to cool down a little bit on this hot day. The lobster bisque was super creamy and full of lobster, also had the lobster salad and was not disappointed. We had my youngest daughter with us (6 months) in a stroller and the staff were very accommodating with finding a table that worked for us.

We celebrated my sisters graduation in early August and we had a lovely time. The food was incredible and when we were presented to our table, it was decorated in celebration of her graduating. The also presented a congratulations dessert plate. We are thankful to the waiters and management for making our evening a beautiful experience!

We celebrated Father's Day at The Capital Grille. The food is very good, the music was perfect for the atmosphere. It wasn't too crowded and the service is impeccable! They definitely know how to welcome and take care of their patrons!
