    I waited 45 min for my order which was a detox smoothie and a shrimp wrap. After waiting all that time I asked about it and they hadn't even made it yet. When I finally got it, I had to rush out and leave only to find out they gave me a chicken burrito with beans. Not what I had ordered. Also they were not able to print out receipts for most transactions. I want my money back! I'm completely disappointed. Wasted my money and time!

    My daughter knocked over my smoothie making a huge mess. Tammy cleaned it up with smile on her face and made me another smoothie! She's an excellent example for all including myself! Thank you Tammy! Btw she also makes a delicious smoothie!

    CUSTOMER BEWARE ! Order place inside store at 1:03. Received my sandwich at 1:23 and my drink at 1:27 24 minutes to complete a simple order for one customer. In that time I saw one customer wait then leave because the cashier left for the bathroom and the cook saw the customer waiting but never acknowledged him or asked to be patient as the cashier went to the restroom. This place is an extreme disappointment as this is my fist time here. But I learned my lesson. Customer beware! Take your hard earned money to a more deserving place.

    The absolutely worst employees. Been here 3 times and every time with 3 different employees and all of them have been as unfriendly as it gets. Zero respect and appreciation for customers.

    Scrolling through many of these reviews and they are spot on. Zero concern or urgency. Watching customers ask about missing orders and it's like they all get a sudden case of amnesia. The guy rocking a Tupac shirt cranking out 1 wrap every 10 minutes was a treat to witness. The girl on the smoothie side and running drinks seemed like she cared, though. So there's that. Left without getting my food.

    Decided to give this place another try on a rainy day - HUGE MISTAKE. Everyone in the store looks like they hate their life, waited 30 minutes for a smoothie and food and I'm currently on hour 20 of diahhrea. DO NOT EAT HERE.

    Extremely slow with absolutely no concern for the consumer. One employee was doing the absolute minimal and then hid in the bathroom making it unavailable for customers for the entirety of our 35 minute wait for two smoothies. We will not return to this location. The smoothies we did get were definitely not worth it.

    This place is trash. The service is incredibly slow. It took 53 minutes to get a smoothie. None of the staff move with any kind of urgency or efficiency. There are plenty of other smoothie places in the area. Unless you have an hour of your life to waste, don't come here.

    Understaffed, unprofessional, and discourteous. About a 45 minute wait time for an ASAP mobile order in an empty café, where the employees did not begin to prepare the ordered foods until asked. A Caesar wrap was incorrectly prepared and had to be discarded, and the subsequent replacement wrap the cook at the time touched with ungloved hands. Smoothies were served grossly below quality as compared to other locations. Zero updates are made to the app to account for unavailable items or ingredients, and refunds are not issued for what is missing. I will happily never return to this location despite the convenience, and I encourage anyone looking for a real Tropical Smoothie experience to take their business to the Dale Mabry location nearest to Raymond James Stadium.

    Always enjoy Tropical Smoothie Cafes (TSC). This one in downtown Tampa was also good. My favorite smoothie there, the Island Green, was really good as usual. The flatbread sandwich with chicken, bacon, cheese++modified as requested to hold the ranch dressing and add smashed avocado was tasty the preparer was fast but made a very sloppy sandwich. The avocado was falling out as were the other ingredients. Still, all was good and will keep eating at TSC.

    Extremely slow during high traffic time such as FMEA convention. But staff was polite and working hard. Over and hour wait for food but smoothies came out timely.

    While I have not visited the physical location, I have had too many negative experiences with this location via Uber Eats. I have placed several orders there, and never have I received a complete and correct order. Thankfully UberEats reimburses my missing food and smoothies, but be warned! This place does not have service that pays any attention to detail.

    The best tasting smoothies in Brandon are made here. Ask for Capriece who is the best in the house, all the time. Fun fact: both he and the owner of Tropical Smoothie Cafe are Army Veterans 🫡

    Good food but poor customer service. Fell behind on orders on busy day, completely ok. But staff member was unprofessional in manner handling the situation as a whole and with frustrated customers.

    Smoothies were great (got the limited edition Island Punch twice) and were made in a timely manner. One concern though - the ceiling looked like it had mold in different spots (forgot to take a picture), so I wouldn’t sit in there for an extended period of time. Also would suggest having someone on rotation to clean the tables and some were kinda sticky from previous use

    This place has plummeted downhill over the past couple weeks. I usually eat here regularly but they have started messing up my order and food consistently lately. Breakfast burritos with cold eggs and making burritos instead of quesadillas etc. Idk what is going on but with limited time on my lunch break I end up just eating whatever they make without much of a choice. Today I decided I’m no longer going anymore.

    Worst juice place I have ever been . I am from Canada and I went to this place in hopes of fresh, healthy smoothie. Loads of sugar and staff was handling pork without wearing gloves and then made the smoothie. Seriously Florida is like a jungle where people don't know how to behave.

    This place used to be good several years ago but now they are continuously shifting around managers and their staff rarely comes in you place an order online and numerous times I’ve had to wait an extra 15 to 20 minutes for my food. And then, when you ask for help, they give you an attitude or don’t even acknowledge you. If you want to waste your time, go to this place, otherwise go somewhere else.

    Extremely slow service, do not prioritize making sure orders are made in a timely manner (smoothies sit on the counter ten plus minutes before food is ready making the smoothie completely watery), openly talk about not giving customers refunds in front of customers, have witnessed the staff yell at customers when the staff forgot to include chips with an order (so much so the woman just walked out of the store rather than be berated). Waited 15 minutes after my online pickup order and wrap was still not ready - smoothie was completely water at that point. Had to throw it away and left without my wrap because I had to turn return work.

    I wish I could give 10 stars for the service I got earlier this week. The two guys working were super friendly! The restaurant was very clean and even though it was getting close to closing time they were more than willing to help me out! I travel to Tampa a lot and stay across the street and these guys have made Tropical Smoothie my go to place when I am in town!

    I eat out 1-2 times a day and this was the worst “restaurant” experience I’ve ever had. Not only did it take 30 minutes of driving to specifically go to a Tropical Smoothie, when I got here they said they are only selling smoothies because they don’t know how to make any of the food. They have the ingredients but don’t know how to make the food. When I asked to talk to a manager they said that there wasn’t one on site. I love Tropical Smoothie and have been going for something 8 years. Nevertheless I ordered a smoothie, and let me say - 0/5 stars DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!

    Ordered smoothies through the app from the downtown location. Order was accepted. When I arrived around 430pm, doors locked with workers chatting in the kitchen. No signs for alternate hours. Poor business practices and complete lack of consideration.

    this tropical smoothie definitely follows through with trampas notorious reputation. Unprofessional staff, terrible service and the worst quality I've ever experienced. Refused to print receipts because they know they lack the proper skills to deliver products. Tampa is full of dirt bags and this location represents that well. Avoid this location at all costs you'll lose your money. 0/1000000 if i could.

    Walked into this Tropical Smoothie 10.1.2021 at 6:50pm simply wanting 1 smoothie, the female there told me they were closed and served their last drinks and pointed to a group of kids at the table eating. There was a women in line right before me, so I’m assuming they served her and she was waiting. The door was open still and sign says they close at 7. Never been to a business that turned away a customer BEFORE the actual closing time.

    Horrible horrible customer service. We’re traveling and always love TS but this location is a nightmare. Smoothies were not like they usually taste I couldn’t even recognize my usual order. Charged my card multiple times for some reason in small increments. They said they weren’t serving food anymore (3:15pm) yet were handing out Togo bags of food left and right. Next person who ordered behind us ordered food and got it because they had a different cashier who said “we’re not supposed to anymore but you’ll be my last customer” gee thanks for that. Also no apology. No other quick food walkable to our hotel we were really hungry. I guess it was a good thing we didn’t get food because the smoothies were horrid and took forever.

    Smoothly was ok...no sugar used but it was naturally sweet. Had the Thai chicken wrap. Really good with a spicy peanut sauce. Loaded with chicken.

    We stopped in today during lunchtime 12:30 pm with three employees behind the counter - to be told they were no longer taking orders. No explanation just a flat statement of NO. Cleanliness 3 out of 5 Food Options 0 out of 5 Food Quality 0 out of 5 Service 1 out of 5 Overall rating 1 out of 5 - I am mindful that the fast food industry is tough right now, but there is no excuse for not preparing your teams for success. My heart bleeds for this industry which is why I want to support it so strongly. However we can’t support a company that refuses to serve, even if it is a long wait.

    Ordered a quesadilla and a sandwich to eat and the new sangria smoothie to drink. The place was not busy, but they had one young girl taking orders and a gentleman in the back making the smoothies. We got our smoothie pretty quickly and he took over taking orders as the young girl went to the back to prepare the meals ordered by us and the others ahead of us. We watched as she prepared the food with plastic gloves on (cool). But then she would touch her hair with said gloves on, then go back to handling the ingredients to make the meals (not cool). I decided to cancel my order when I saw her doing that while preparing my quesadilla. As I called the gentleman over to tell him to cancel our order, another customer walked up and told the girl that there was no chicken in the chicken quesadilla she made for him. She said she will give him the one she just made (the one she made for me). I told the guy which order was ours, to cancel it and just keep the money we paid for it. We left with our great tasting smoothie though. Not coming here ever again.

    This place always has issues and gives excuses, not solutions. The first time I came here it took 30mins to complete my order. I ordered online the next time. One of the items I ordered had an up charge. They were out of that item. Instead of calling the number I provided to tell me this, the substituted with a less expensive item, but still charged me more. When I mentioned it, no one had a solution. Usually you’re issued a refund by providing credit and swiping your card to register the credit OR by giving a gift card. Instead, all I got were excuses. I’ll just dispute the charge and get a free meal.

    I waited for 20 mins while everyone that ordered after me got their food. Finally asked where my order was, they dug through bags and gave me one that they had put it in the online orders cubes without calling a name. I'd ordered a Thai flatbread without chicken and was given a dry pita with barbeque sauce and re-solidified melted cheese that had congealed to an orange blob. No greens, just pita, cheese, and barbeque sauce. It was inedible. Waste of time and money.

    Smoothies are inconsistent (sometimes with chunks, sometimes watery, sometimes no flavor). You never know if they will make is correctly or not. This place used to be solid. Today I went in for a chia boost smoothie. It was watery with little flavor and I politely asked for it to be made again. Maybe less water or more peanut butter or dates…idk the ratio was off. It wasn’t sweet and didn’t have flavor. But the smoothie they remade for me tasted like they put two cups of granulated sugar in it to spite my complaint.

    The worst Tropical Smoothie experience ever… no staff and the one employee they did have was slow and rude. Had people waiting 30 minutes to even order. Did not even attempt to apologize or explain. Had no sides except for 2 flavors of chips. We love TS but will never go back to this location.

    Drove 5 miles to make it before the cafe closed at 7pm. I made it at 6:42 and just as I was literally 5 steps away from the door, an employee locks the door in my face. I tried knocking to try to get an explanation as to why they closed so early, but was completely ignored. Very disappointing to not even be acknowledged. I don't think I'll come back again.

    There was a sign on the door that indicated limited hours due to staffing. The manager was clearly training someone new at the register. All that to say - an awesome visit. Even in a time of difficulty, the staff was friendly and service was fast! The manager was patient with the trainee while still helping in other ways. And the smoothies were delicious!
