The red sangria was pretty good and there is a really nice brunch menu with $8 drinks. Most food items are $15+ and the wine selection is not what I expected as it was just 1 page of pretty limited options. I ordered a Ceasar Salad and it was fresh. For the area and all the competition, I was a little underwhelmed. I sat outside with my dogs and waited 25 minutes for someone to greet me before I asked if someone could serve me. It seemed very disorganized and I was told to check inside instead. There wasn't a sign to do so and I have 2 dogs, so how was I supposed to go inside with animals. Once I was able to order, the girl was nice but my salad came out 5 minutes before my sangria. It just seems like at 1pm on a Sunday, they need better management to provide better customer service. I couldn't imagine coming here on a busy night.

This is my 5th time and it doesn’t disappoint! Amazing food. Our server, Bert, was very informative and gracious. Food was incredible. We ate until we needed to be rolled out. Coming back again for sure!

I'm going to go right into it... let's go ALL 5 of us left stuffed!!! I had the Cajun pasta with blackened shrimp and scallops, and 3 friends had Cajun pasta with blackened chicken. This dish is super good. The caramelized onions gave a great flavor to this dish. On a great scale of 1-10, I'd give it a 2, maybe 3. It wasn't spicy to me, just flavorful. It was the perfect Alfredo. They give you a lot of sauce. It was great for sopping up with bread. I had zero complaints with this dish. The other friend had Fusilli lemon chicken. I had a fork full, and I'm ready to go back so that I can have a plate all to myself! The flavor was light but full of sunshine. I really can't explain it. It was literally the most perfect balance of capers and lemon. Not shown is the cheese platter. Everything was so fresh. Especially the fruits. Omg, they have superb produce and ingredients. Everything was perfectly fresh and sweet. For dessert, there was coconut creme cake, some sort of lemon pound cake, and a chocolate bomb. I tried all 3. The coconut creme cake was very good and wasn't overpowered by coconut flavor. It was perfect and moist. I don't like lemon flavors desserts, but I tried it for y'all (seriously), and although I didn't care for it, everyone else did. I can say that the lemon flavor was light. I was actually able to take a bite and not spit it out! The cake was more fluffier than a pound cake, and the fruit surrounding the bowl was so freaking fresh and gooood. The chocolate bomb was really good. It's a layer of thin chocolate cake on the bottom, then mousse, cover with chocolate ganache (I hope I spelled it right, if not, it's a hard chocolate shell people 😆) of the 3 desserts, this one was my favorite! YALL... I'M SO STUFFED RIGHT NOW!!!! All of the drinks/ wine were great. The restaurant/ restroom was very clean. The ambiance in the restaurant was great. The music was good and was being played faintly in the background. It's the perfect place for date night. The prices are spot on! Last but not least. To top the night off... CHAD... our waiter was great. So friendly and personable. Please ask for him and tip him well bc that's my new friend in my head! Just a nice and genuine person. My only issue was the front door. As soon as I walked in, I was like, "Oh, this isn't wheelchair friendly." But, I think there may be an entrance on the patio, which would be perfect bc a wheelchair could be maneuvered out there better, i feel. The place is a tad narrow. All in all, I'm definitely going back in a few weeks to take my family! Hell, I may go by myself before then. Happy eating!!! 03/25/2023 Went tonight as their last day open is tomorrow. Again, everything was amazing. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, Mark. He is such a beautiful soul. I'm truly saddened that they will be closing. I feel like I found a hidden gem, and now it's being taken away.

My friend got the Gnocchi Porky and I got the Neapolitan. Everything was absolutely delicious! Our server was Jacob Z, they were very kind to check in frequently and to refill our water. Will be coming back! ☺️

What a great meal. Best chicken Marsalis we have had in a long time. The quesadilla was full of flavor and very fresh. A place we will return too. The waitress Hanna was so much fun to have working with us. She was a true delight.

Good food, drinks, and atmosphere. Little pricey even during happy hour. They do not do wine flights. Would enjoy going back and trying some more of their food options

Had a Valentine’s Dinner here and it was phenomenal! There was no wait which was awesome, beautiful atmosphere on the heated patio; and service was fantastic. The moment you walk in the aromas are so amazing. I enjoyed the Bramble and The goat cheese ravioli special and I will definitely be coming back!

Pleasant welcoming experience You’re in south Tampa, land of pretentiousness, and this is everything but that. The wine exchange is simple yet exquisite. The food is amazing and the service is great, no need to pretend, just come and drink some wine. I had a wonderful glass of madd hatter cab and the blackened chicken. So yummy. Their wine list is extensive and is you’re not about wine their cocktail list is fantastic as well. Try the old fashion.

Second time coming here. The first time we had an okay experience but today was fantastic. Went in today and there was a wait for dinner. We waited about thirty minutes. It looked as if they were severely under staffed with servers also seating tables. The food was good but our server Sierra is what made the whole experience amazing. She’s the best server we have ever encountered in any rest restaurant. Extremely attentive, and recommended everything we tried. Thanks to Sierra we will be regular customers. We are always in Hyde park but now we will come here often. We had a bottle of wine, and blackened filet. The flavor was amazing. Hats off to the chef as well for taste and preparation.

Stopped by after a long workday for a drink and early dinner. Enjoyed the outdoor seating and my meal. I tried the special...a lobster ravioli dish. It was good, pretty rich and creamy. You will need bread...just because it's so much sauce, everywhere!!!!! My server, well...not so good. He barley checked on me and it was actually ridiculous. I asked another waiter for my check and for bread. Side note: My service ended up checking on me, finally. Then brought me out 2-day old, hard bread. Come on, really! Old bread! Come on! I am pretty sure he's like asleep in the back room or something. Forgetting that he has tables waiting on service!

Food here was alright, thought everything could benefit with a little bit more salt, which ended up making everything taste a lot better. Drinks were good overall environment was good. However, after looking at some pictures of the same dishes we ordered, I’m disappointed. Presentation seemed completely different from past reviews and comparatively looks very low effort, which is why it lost a star.

My mom and I came here to celebrate booking the florist for my wedding. The salads are phenomenal and the service was spectacular. Thank you Hannah for taking such great care of us!

Came in on a Sunday evening. Hostess didn't greet us but waited for us to speak first, awkward. The service was fine. So the food looked gross, but didn't taste so bad. Not sure why the mashed potatoes looked so dark and old but it tasted okay. The chicken picatta was flavorful, mainly cus of the lemon and capers. The veggies were delicious though. Its def not a $20 dish tho. I would highly recommend only drinks here or small dishes. The wine was delicious. The atmosphere is great too.

The atmosphere was nice. We were seated right in the doorway to the outside seating area, which was very uncomfortable. I felt like I was in the way every time someone walked past. The drinks and appetizer were fine, nothing special. I usually love steak and potatoes and order it often when I go out, but this was BY FAR the WORST steak and potatoes I have ever had. The steak and potatoes were so overwhelming salty, I could barely eat any of it. I couldn’t take more than 2 bites of the potatoes because the salt and whatever it was seasoned with was so awful to taste. Even though I only had a few bites, I had acid reflux and the awful aftertaste from them for the rest of the night and morning after. I still don’t know what was in those potatoes but it still makes me so uneasy. I also never leave my steak behind but this was a steak I had to say no to. My go-to favorite meal was an absolute nightmare here, and I spent over $50 on everything to walk away feeling horrible in my stomach and mouth. Will not be going back!

The Wine Exchange in Hyde Park is a charming wine bar with an impressive selection of wines. The bar area up front is nicely set up, and there are additional seating options towards the back. The service was fantastic - our waitress was friendly and provided excellent suggestions from the menu. Whether you're planning a date night or an evening out with friends, this is an excellent option. I've visited a couple of times and always enjoyed just sitting at the bar to drink wine. On my latest visit, we decided to have dinner, and I must say, the food was absolutely delicious. We started with the Deviled Eggs, and they were so good that I would order again. For the main course, I had the Jerk Grilled Salmon with Mashed Potatoes and Mixed Vegetables. The Jamaican Banana butter complemented the dish nicely. I also appreciate that the restaurant offers different greens for side dishes. Overall, I highly recommend The Wine Exchange for an enjoyable wine and dining experience.

My mistake for ordering a cocktail. Very strong lime forward drinks. Stick to the wines. The chimichurri sauce was fantastic but the skirt steak was cut and served improperly. Pizza crust was upsetting but the flavor combination was fantastic. Service was great and attentive. Perhaps this was a one off experience. Willing to try again.
