Front desk was rude on check in, no check amenity given for Spire Elites according to the rude guy at the front. Full price for a full service hotel but there was zero service anywhere. All other hotels around have managed to reopen and offer normal amenities for what you pay to stay in this area but this one appears to have made no effort at all or are still riding the Covid excuse wave. The bed was terrible, the shower heads were too low and not installed correctly, the floor had cheap laminate I’ve seen in Motel 6’s and the elevators seem like they are coming apart. This is a $79 a night hotel at best and I’ve been traveling for decades and stayed in nearly every brand in nearly every city. I know what I’m looking at and this place is doing a terrible job of upkeep and customer service. The only recommendation they give to eat is in the other hotels nearby which seem to have worked harder to earn the higher price for this area. Avoid this place until they make drastic changes and don’t greet you with such malcontent. Now que up the managers boilerplate response after they refuse to do anything about the situation while you’re staying there.

I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel. First off its very clean and in an excellent location close to down town or the football stadium which is where we were wanting to go. The room was clean and I was very happy with it. The staff was extremely friendly and remembered you when you walked by to ask how the trip was so far or the room was. They even asked about some of the events we went to and how we were enjoying our experience. You don't always experience that with similar rated hotels. I would for sure stay here again and recommend anyone who was looking to stay here as well! You won't regret it!

If you're coming from out of town, be aware that this hotel is not in the best area. The inside itself was nice and the hotel staff was great. The experience was strange however. This was the first hotel I've been to where you need your room key to use the elevator and you're only able to go to your room floor. On one hand it ensure your safety, but on the other, you have to wonder why they do that. There are some homeless people in the area, so that may be why. When my husband and I were sitting at the restaurant, a homeless guy walked in, put his bags at the table beside us and went to use the restroom. We are from a small town in Southern Ontario and aren't used to seeing that (even amongst all the places we've traveled to). We quickly finished eating and left. We went for a walk to the convenience store across the road and there were sketching characters around, so just be mindful of that if you're walking around outside the hotel. The room was average, but clean. We found it pricey for what it was, but I think all of Tampa is expensive. The restaurant was ok, but the service was terrible. We had a Philly steak sandwich for dinner which was good, but we had to ask for things like ketchup, etc as it was never offered. They also didn't take a drink order and then give us time to look at the menu. They dropped off the menu and came right back and said do you know what you want to order. It was strange. We went back for breakfast as it was convenient. Again, the service was not good. I ordered waffles and they were the worst waffles I've ever had and the coffee wad terrible. I would go somewhere else! All in all, our stay wasn't terrible, but given the area, I'd likely find somewhere else to stay if I ever went back to Tampa.

Stayed here for a conference that was actually downtown but this hotel was less expensive and had a shuttle to the airport and was on a couple of bus routes that go downtown. The hotel has nice amenities. I really enjoyed their pool and hot tub and gym. My room was on the ninth floor and was clean and had lots of useful furniture. Staff was friendly and helpful. I didn’t eat at the hotel bar but it looked ok. I’ll stay here again if I’m back in the area.

Room was perfectly cleaned, the whole hotel was very clean. Restaurant lacks atmosphere but the food is very good, the prices line any hotel. The rooms are not the typical Holiday Inn room. The are minimalistic style. I thought the decor looked old. I think they should have replaced the doors when they remodeled, they look like they have been painted 20 times. You can tell that the lady renovation was only partial. Still a decent place to stay, wonderful bed and the rooms are super quiet from outside noise. However, in the hallways you can hear every conversation and Inter room you can hear everything that goes on in the hallways. It has a very nice pool. They charge guest for parking, that cost the hotel one whole star. Noise issue, another star. Still recommend it .

The hotel itself was quite nice. It was clean and had a welcoming vibe to it, the price was accessible and not out of this world for it being so close to the airport. It has a parking structure next to the hotel that makes it easy to get in and out of the property. I have definitely stayed at better hotels but this one isn't half bad for the price, recommend.

Not the best hotel I've been to but definitely not the worst either. Rooms and common areas were clean. The only issue I had was that the temperature of the room is not easily managed. The thermometer in the room is possibly from the 70s. They also closed the bar down too. The biggest downside was that the door closest to the parking facility was closed and I was soaked getting to the front of the hotel in a Florida shower. So I'm taking off a star for that because seriously was a huge problem in the rain. Please open that back door!

5 night stay—- Conjoining doors didn’t have locks. I was able to walk into someone else’s room. I keep waking up with rashes on me. Not sure if the sheets were changed. I travel for work, so I stay in hotels all the time. This isn’t for work. I travel down here once a month. Won’t be back again. Parking is $10/day on top of what I already paid. My room doesn’t even have a windows- they covered the window with a sticker, so my room is dark all day. I feel like I’m in an asylum. Im attaching the photo now. The scene on it is fake. But doesn’t help. The gym is in a different section of the building, have to go outside and into a creepy hallway. I would NEVER workout there alone. It’s unsafe and the gym isn’t decent. The staff is nice. Changed my room right away. Not sure what they did with the conjoining rooms This place doesn’t have free breakfast either. Don’t recommend

Breakfast scam!! Poorly trained staff with trouble communicating. Ill informed of hotel offering. Booked a room with Breakfast for two option. Neither the hotel staff nor the restaurant staff knew how to apply. Each staff member had their own interpretation. Extremely pricey restaurant. Ordered one mediocre breakfast for $25!!! What in the world were they thinking when pricing! Rooms were very average! Bad experience overall. You can get better value elsewhere.

This hotel offers everything you need for a successful business trip. One aspect that particularly caught my attention was how well the hotel has kept up with modern times. The room was equipped with multiple outlets that conveniently included USB charge points, allowing me to keep all my devices fully charged and ready for use. I also appreciated the separate chair and table that allowed me to maintain a relaxed posture while working. The desk area was spacious, providing me with plenty of room to work comfortably. Additionally, the lobby featured a delightful bar area that served delicious food and drink, making it the perfect spot to unwind and catch up on work. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to fellow business travelers. The comfortable and well-equipped rooms, convenient amenities, and friendly staff will ensure a pleasant and productive stay. Don't hesitate to book your stay today and experience all that this hotel has to offer!

NOT WORTH THE PRICE! We spent 2 nights in March 2023. Room 2 queen beds 8th floor. Pro: *The hotel is pretty clean and so are the room, the hallways, and the bathrooms. *Has plenty of parking ($10+ x night) Con: *Unjustified parking fees on top of hotel fees of $10 x night, even though they have plenty of space and the hotel isn't even downtown! *Rooms are pretty bare and small, nothing fancy about it to justify the pricing. * Lobby pretty bare and not place to hangout besides a bar and a few chairs right at the entrance lobby. Very boring hotel. * No breakfast included and not even complimentary tea or coffee in the lobby, only the coffee in the room that of course doesn't get replaced since there is not cleaning for the first 2 days. ( I am sure if you ask before the cleaning crew goes away they will offer a replacement, but not if you get there late a night) Overall for the pricing I was NOT IMPRESSED by this hotel and would not book again.

Asked for room near pool but was given one on other side, down hall. Air only worked with fan on high so it was stuffy during day and froze at night. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Stayed two nights and reported issues after the first, and waited for maintenance, only to be told that he checked on it, when no one did. Hot tub did not work either. Employee decided to clean elevators and bathroom Sunday night when hotel was full of football fans. This hotel should've paid me to stay there. Only nice employee was the day shuttle driver.

I started out liking this location. It is very convenient for a visitor. Lots of restaurants and a Starbucks are fairly close. If that is all you need, you will be fine. If you need anything from the front desk staff, bar staff, clean pool towels, room cleaned, a clean outdoor patio area with any of the tv’s on - FORGET IT! The rooms are clean but you better keep them that way because there is no schedule to the cleaning. One day early. The next day late. If they doesn’t work for you, oh well! The pool area is pretty but you won’t find a clean towel in the bin - on any of the 5 days I was there. Have a question for the front desk. IF someone is there, $10 says only the district manager-who isn’t on site has the answer-so again, tough luck!!!! They have a beautiful outdoor patio which is closed during the day in FL - in the warm weather - closed until 4pm. When it opens, it isn’t well kept. This place needs to up it’s game because you are paying a lot of money for very few amenities.

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. This website will compare countless booking web sites and usually will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in this area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you won't be let down. The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The water pressure leaves something to be desired, but outside of that evening was great. I never did see the hotel restaurant open and checked at all times of day. There is a cooler in the lobby with drinks for purchase and some snacks as well. Ricardo is the nicest staff person there. He was always kind and helpful. I'd stay here again if I were in the area.

First day was great, lady who checked us in was extremely friendly, housekeeping the first day was great. The second day all they did was empty the garbage and left two towels for the 4 of us, no made beds or sweeping. I left a message on the housekeeping line and they never brought us more towels and we had to go get more from the front desk. The third day they never bothered to come at all and we have overflowing garbage cans and sheets in need of a wash. Tried to order room service several times there was never an answer. Every time we have gone to the pool there have not been any pool towels in either of the clean towel bins, and the pool water is cold. The Keurig coffee maker is a pain to use and clearly needs to be replaced. Bistro downstairs looks empty I have never seen anyone eat there and we are on our 4th day here. Since they do not have a complimentary breakfast (and I had my hotel filter set to only include hotels that did include breakfast so this was extremely frustrating) I at least expected a microwave in the room but nope there is only one microwave per floor. Also, be warned that you have to pay $10 per day per day for parking and this detail is hidden in the fine print and we did not learn this until we got here. The good things I have to say are few: the front desk lady was nice, the complimentary lotion smells good, and the bed and pillows are comfy. However, I would not choose to stay here again.

Good clean room. Housekeeping service was excellent. Front office staff were also prompt and helpful. They also provide free shuttle service which is convenient to commute to nearby places and the airport.

1 No water or Water fountains offered to guest even if you are staying a week. It's $6 a bottle 2 When checking in they ran my card after they charged me they then said by the way we charge $11 a day to park your car. I said if I would've known that I wouldn't have stayed here, they said talk to a manager, manager said Too Bad! 3 After the room was cleaned it smelled like dirty water 4 Parking is a nightmare you have to circle for 15 minutes until someone leaves and they're tiny spots to try and fit into. 5 My shower was busted and they had to come fix it 6The restaurant automatically charges 18% to your bill but they still print out a receipt that asks for a tip on it. Sneaky sneaky. They nickle and dime everything here. 7 I explained all this to the manager and they didn't compensate anything, or care. You're treated like a number here. If you want to stay somewhere with no customer service this is your place but there are much better options close within the same price range. Will never stay again.

After staying here two different times for a total of five nights, I think I can do better. They sure love to take your money then promptly ignore even the simplest of requests that other hotels would honor. The location is great and the rooms are clean, but their service is the exact opposite.

We did not have a room but went to the monthly baseball card show and hit up the bar (also, that show got real sweaty, real fast). Both bartenders were so personable and friendly. We're jerks who didn't get their names but they were so much fun! My fiance and I had a great convo there. As locals we don't have many reasons to frequent hotel bars in our own town but as we plan on attending this particular event with regularity, we look forward to the stellar and friendly service in the bar.

The room was hot, the air system suffers here, I actually switched rooms and it was same set up so you will be hot if you there any time except December/jan. ..food was good at the restaurant, not the vegan one but regular food. Did not try the vegan..

Hotel is nice, pool is great and good fitness center, room was clean but the breakfast certainly left something to be desired. Felt like portion control with express quality...very small portions and the buffet others have mentioned in their reviews is now gone.

I was there one night. Room was fine, if spartan. Bed comfortable. No noise. Very deceptive about parking charges. If you book through priceline there's no notification whatsoever. $11/night is ridiculous. This hotels isn't the middle of an entertainment district, it's surrounded by other airport hotels. The parking fee is a total money grab that really left me feeling ripped off.

I stayed there two nights and coffee machine was not working in the room where I have stayed and called the service desk. Service desk representative told me that they were going to create a service ticket in the following morning that I was leaving the hotel. During the check out, I told the service desk where I could get a coffee and she told me to go to the hotel restaurant. When I asked for a coffee there , they told me how do you want me to pay it. It is very irritating to deal with service desk stupidity. Also, I noticed a parking charge in the invoice and talked to the service desk that I do not have a car to park and why my invoice has a parking charge. They told me that during the check out, my parking fee will be removed. If it was going to be removed why it was put there in the beginning. What would happen, if I did not pay attention for the parking charge in the invoice? I think it is a trick!!

Make sure to use HotelTully.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. They compare hundreds of hotel sites and normally will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is the best rated in this area. I've been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you definitely won't be disappointed. I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel. First off its very clean and in an excellent location close to down town or the football stadium which is where we were wanting to go.

Decent hotel. Fairly priced for similar lodgings in the area but without the usual complimentary buffet breakfast. Room was clean with updated furnishings and tv. Bed was comfortable and a/c unit was quiet. Hot water took a while to reach the 5th floor and our bathroom stunk of stale cigarette smoke but the walk in shower was very spacious. There aren't many parking spots on site but there is a parking garage at the back of the hotel that had ample spaces and is included. The real downer were the hallways which had dark brown carpeting that was absolutely filthy and stained, that alone set this hotel back a star, it was that bad. Staff was friendly and accommodating when we asked for extra towels. If you stay here for an event at Raymond James Stadium, be advised, it is too far to walk to the stadium unless you plan on an hour long trek.

Walked to this hotel from the Marriott after they told me suddenly no room, no rooms. Spoke with the night manager here, a very gracious young man. Explained that a room I had been promised at the Marriott was suddenly no longer available, this was 3:30a.m. - he told me he had rooms and offered me one. I had a 10am meeting that ran long. I ended up spending the night. The hotel was nice and clean. All the staff members I came across were just as nice, friendly and helpful as the night manager - would highly recommend this property. bty, the sheets felt really nice. Thanks

Room was very clean. No problems with check in. Check out was simple and we did it through the TV in the room. Caught the complimentary shuttle to the airport, very easy. The shuttle stops running at 10pm so we didn't get it to the hotel which is my only complaint.

Amazing amenities for what you pay compared to other surrounding hotels. Clean and spacious room and the shower pressure is exactly what it needs to be to feel clean. The staff in the am and pm are incredibly nice and accommodating. The breakfast food was a little bleh but I still give this place 5 stars.

I stayed here on a work trip for 5 nights. The staff was great, very helpful and polite. The hotel is super close to the airport yet doesn’t have planes flying overhead. The bed was super comfortable and I liked the blackout curtains. But the place needs upgrading. It does look like it been upgraded a few times but cheaply. I’m 6’ 2” and the shower head was at chin level. Water pressure in the shower was low. Last thing, what’s up with county music blaring in the elevators 24/7??? It’s so loud you can hear the elevator car coming up and down.
